Amon slowly raised one finger, his voice carrying an unusually nervous tone.
"I confessed to you?"
Seraphina's eyebrow twitched.
"You kissed me!"
"Well... technically, yes."
Amon nodded honestly. He had no intention of denying it.
However, he suddenly became aware of Aisha standing nearby. 'Damn it.'
This was not exactly the kind of conversation he wanted to have in front of someone else.
Seraphina stared at him in disbelief. "Then what do you call that?!"
Amon opened his mouth. Nothing came out. He closed it again.
'What am I supposed to say?!'
He had kissed her yesterday. There was no way he could deny that. But had he actually confessed?Thinking about it now, he wasn't sure.
Yesterday, he had been caught up in the moment. He had wanted to know how Seraphina felt about him, and after seeing her reaction, he had acted without thinking too much.
