I started to shake my head, but the motion stalled halfway. My jaw tightened. "I don't know… but it might be possible."
Marina's smirk deepened, her body pressing closer against mine, her voice dropping to a purr. "Hmm… yeah, you did save her life…" Her fingers traced idle circles on my chest, her touch light but possessive.
"It might be that she really feels something for you… hee… hee…" Her laughter was soft, almost musical, but there was a razor's edge beneath it. "It couldn't be better… Now we have a greater chance of filming her… and blackmailing her…"
She leaned in, her breath warm against my neck, her voice a whisper. "Why don't you make a move on her?" Her tone was casual, almost playful, but her grip on my arm tightened, her nails biting into my skin.
"Get close to her. Let her trust you… let her want you. And then…" She pulled back just enough to meet my gaze, her eyes dark with something dangerous. "We'll have her exactly where we want her."
