Valerian's gaze swept across the crowd as he stood tall before them all, his expression calm and unwavering. His voice echoed heavily through the chamber.
"The vault," he continued, "has stood sealed for generations beyond counting. Within it rests the legacy of our ancestors. Weapons forged in forgotten ages. Relics touched by ancient powers. Echoes of those who came before us. And many other things rest inside it, many of which even I cannot speak about for security purposes."
A faint murmur spread through the hall at that.The mystery surrounding the vault only deepened whenever the crown spoke of it.
His voice deepened slightly.
"And only those carrying the blood of the crown may enter and walk its hidden paths."
Near the center of the hall, several younger nobles listened with poorly concealed fascination. Even foreign dignitaries looked captivated now.
Because stories surrounding the vault existed everywhere across the Five Realms.
