Q. Who poisoned Joffery?
A) Tyrion Lannister
B) Petyr Baelish
C) Sansa Stark
D) Olenna Tyrell
E) Margaery Tyrell
"D) Olenna Tyrell" Olenna Tyrell chose
"A) Tyrion Lannister" Renly Baratheon said
"B) Petyr Baelish" Ned Stark answered
Jon didn't chose any this time as to him the correct answer should be Olenna Tyrell & Petyr Baelish but since it wasn't an option he stopped himself from choosing recklessly and by the time he decided both the options he liked were already chosen by someone else.
"I don't know about the others but you have chosen the wrong option Lord Renly" Tyrion Lannister said
"You can't say what you counterpart was really thinking and I think after all Joffery did to him he may really poison Joffery" Renly replied.
Tyrion could only shrug his shoulders at that.
[KING'S LANDING]
[The wedding banquet for Margaery and Joffrey has turned shocking and horrific. Joffrey lies dead in his mother's lap. Blood pours from his nose and vomit clings around his mouth. Cersei turns to Tyrion.]
"You did this. You did this!"
[Three guards grab Tyrion from behind.]
"Of course, she'd blame it on me" Tyrion grunted with a scowl.
"To be fair, you were the one to serve him the wine," Jaime said with a small frown. "Would you have done it? Killed Joffrey I mean."
Tyrion's scowl was still in place, but his eyes drifted in thought.
"I wouldn't make it so obvious that I did it if I were to kill him" the former Imp finally said.
Jaime nodded with a tight smile. Was he relieved that his brother hadn't done it Or was he hurt that his brother would do it? He was never a father to Joffrey, so why did it bother him this much?
[Tyrion is dragged off by guards as Sansa and Ser Dontos rush off through the crowd.]
"Where is his wife? Where's Sansa?"
"Find her. Bar the gates of the city. Seize every ship in the harbour. No one leaves the capital! No one!"
"Guess you're fugitive now" Arya patted her sister's arm.
Sansa frowned with worry. Where would she go now? The North was no longer an option, neither was Riverrun. Would she be on the run with Ser Donto on the roads forever now? Forced to live another life entirely and forget herself?
[KINGS LANDING DOCK AT DUSK]
[A bell tolls as Sansa and Ser Dontos rush down to a small boat, separate from the Harbor. Sansa and Ser Dontos sail out into the ocean, far from King's Landing.]
"Maybe you'll go beyond the Narrow Seas and end up with Daenerys" Arya whispered excitedly.
That wouldn't be so bad.
[MISTY OCEAN AT NIGHT]
[They come across a huge mysterious ship in the middle of the misty sea. Ser Dontos pulls his smaller boat up alongside it.]
"Up you go, my lady. You'll be fine. You're stronger than you know."
"Oh, he's doing it for someone else" Sansa frowned. Who would go to such lengths and make an enemy of the Crown for her?
[She climbs up a ladder on the side of the ship, as she reaches the top someone grabs her. She gasps before realizing who it is.]
"Lord Baelish?"
"Petyr... Are you hurt, my lady?"
"That snivelling rat!" Catelyn screeched. "He's murdered Jottrey and made a fugitive out of Sansa!"
"But why would he do that..." Ned frowned, his rage at seeing the man kept at bay by his worry for his daughter.
"It's obvious" Brandon the Elder snorted in disgust. "Sansa has the looks of a Tully with little of Stark in her, meaning she may look like Catelyn at that age. And Petyr has always loved you."
A look of disgust appeared on the Stark parents' faces.
"I will cut him from head to dick if he so much as touches her wrong" Catelyn swore in fury.
Ned looked like he agreed.
Sansa could only blanch and pray that she did not have to become the wife of this... 'man'.
[Littlefinger clicks his finger and two men with crossbows walk to the edge of the ship. They aim at Ser Dontos. Both men shoot at Ser Dontos, and he groans in pain before lying dead. Sansa screams and Littlefinger hushes her.]
"That was wise," Rickard said with distaste, "it would keep him silent."
Ned only grunted. No doubt Baelish promised things to the man and had not delivered on them like the man had promised to him before stabbing him in the back. A backstabber through and through... yet he was also glad for it. It would mean his daughter would be safe.
What a time it was for him, where he'd thank someone for breaking a promise...
"Shh. You don't want the queen to hear, do you? 1,000 gold cloaks are searching for you. And if they found you, how do you think they would punish the girl who murdered the king?"
"I didn't murder anyone."
"I know. I know. But you must admit it looks suspicious. The king who executed your father, who tormented you for years, and you fled the scene of his murder."
"All his machinations!" Catelyn fumed.
Ned's gratitude quickly went up in flames and burned with anger as fuel. That rotten bastard had planned all this so Sansa had no choice but to go with him! If Catelyn didn't do it, he would cut that man from dick to head!
Sansa sat defeated as the same realisation dawned on her (her mother screaming it helped of course). It was all a mistake. She should have never left her home and gone to the capital.
Had she not... maybe her father would be alive now as well.
[Littlefinger removes the necklace from around Sansa's neck and places it on the edge of the ship. He pulls out a knife and hits one of the "crystals" and it smashes like glass. Sansa, confused, studies him. Littlefinger pushes the necklace off the edge of the boat and it lands directly on Ser Dontos' lifeless body.]
Margaery's eyes narrowed on that. Destroying a crystal and then putting the necklace on Ser Dontos... it's a clear set-up from her perspective. Did that mean that Littlefinger did not kill Joffrey? If SO...
Her eyes went to her grandmother, who looked absolutely bored.
Was it her grandmother...
Wrong answer by Renly Baratheon and Ned Stark the lose the chance to answer the next two questions.
Congratulations to Olenna Tyrell she gets a family ressurection card.
"How!? Wasn't it Petyr who poisoned Joffery?" Catelyn asked in confusion.
"No, Petyr was likely part of the plan to poison Joffery. He helped Olenna Tyrell to poison Joffery by having that knight give sansa the necklace with poison in it. If you remember it had one gem less when Petyr broke, Olenna Tyrell used that gem to poison Joffery pinned the blame on Tyrion Lannister and his wife Sansa Stark." Jon explained.
Those who had watched it clearly and are intelligent enough to connect the dots understood already like Olenna Tyrell, Varys, Doran Martell and Tyrion but for the rest Jon's explanation brought clarity.
