"Yes , My lady what do you wanna talk about" Waymar said quite meticulously
"Oh don't be at guard Waymar. You look like you are going on a war instead of a pleasant conversation we are about to have." Seraphine said looking quite sweet.
But to Waymar she was looking quite scary at that time.
"Ofcourse ma'am. I mean My lady. I am just being extra careful here don't wanna upset you. You are important to Commander Hal. So just being careful My lady." Waymar said.
"Oh so you mean Artos." Seraphine said shocking the hell out of Waymar.
Waymar " I don't know..."
Seraphine didn't let him complete "Oh don't worry. He himself tell me about it. He didn't want me to be shocked when we get there."
Waymar nervous" Oh that's a relief I guess , My lady. I was really worried on ummm how we are going to tackle that situation when we get there. But it seems now that problem is resolved now."
"Yes , that would be a relief. But you what would be a more relief if I know more about him . I won't be shocked even more." Seraphine said.
Waymar" Well I think you should talk to Commander if that's the case . He would be able to tell you more. I don't think he would appreciate it if I am talking behind his back." Waymar said it while laughing nervously.
"Oh he wouldn't if it was someone else but you i think he won't care if it's you. He respects you more than others. He respects his men especially you ." Seraphine
Waymar said smiling and trying his best to dodge the question." That makes me happy you think that way. But I don't want to upset him . You don't know how scary he really is when he is upset. Besides I only knew of him in the war and after the war. So I couldn't tell you the details you want me to."
"Oh that's interesting, but please don't assume what I want to know . Oh please tell what do you know . I would really appreciate it even a little thing." Seraphine said.
"Well , He was commaning the troops on our side . He was leading them ahead of every charge . He was a demon on the warfront. But that's known to every kid in Essos by know not exactly anything new. He was young back then 13 or 14 namedays . Not many has confident under his command but after the first battle everyone respected him and not only that trusted him as a leader and ready to go battle having his back. Trusting that they could win any odds against them."
Seraphine" He must be important that even the Manderly's son was under him in the war."
Waymar a bit nervous did his best to not to show that on his face" Please My lady I am the youngest among my brothers . Hiers back up 's back up's back up. I am not that important person that you give me credit for."
" But still it would be someone important that you abandon your life of a noble to play Mercenary here ." Seraphine questioned.
Waymar doesn't want to tell her that Artos is a Stark as he would angry that he was giving her the name that Artos abandoned himself.
"My lady that is not good that you prying into my business. I don't really appreciate it but to clarify I want to be someone unique and had my identity and not just a back up hier who is end in hierarchy and never gonna be a Lord. So My Lady I would appreciate it if you give me some space now as I would like to rest. Journey is still long from here." Waymar just spill some bullshit and tried to leave the area as fast as one can leaving Seraphine alone behind.
Seraphine thoughts are confused ' There is something he isn't telling me , But did I go too far with him . He seemed hurt genuinely. I shouldn't have so hard on him. Poor man trying to be a man with his own identity without his family power. I respect him'
On the other hand Waymar thought are exactly opposite ' Oh good gods . Thanks the seven and old gods for having mercy on me. Well true thanks to Artos it was due to him I got to know the art of bullshiting. If not me doing the practicing trying to convince him for a work that is boring. It would be really hard without that to convince Lady Valen about the bullshit he spoken out there. Well not all of it but he had to sell a act and he did .
"Well it's upto you Commander and what you don't but she's gonna know regardless. I know my father " Waymar smiled already guessing what comes ahead. It would be good seeing Commander to be so embarassed.
