Chapter 7 - Chapter 6.4 — The Dungeon and its Floors [+]

The deeper Aizen and Lyra walked into the underground path, the heavier the air became.

It wasn't just darkness surrounding them—it was something else. Something ancient. The walls around them were carved with faint, glowing symbols that pulsed weakly like dying embers. The ground beneath their feet was uneven, cracked in places as if something massive had once moved through here.

Their footsteps echoed.

Every sound felt amplified.

Every breath… noticeable.

And then—

Aizen's ears twitched.

His expression shifted instantly.

"…Lyra."

His voice lowered.

Lyra stopped walking.

"What is it?"

Aizen narrowed his eyes, turning slightly toward the direction ahead.

"I hear something."

A pause.

"…Not normal."

Lyra's gaze sharpened.

"I feel it too."

Her hand slowly moved closer to her weapon.

"…Something's coming."

The air tensed.

Aizen's body instinctively reacted—muscles tightening, senses heightening.

"It sounds like…"

He focused.

"…like needles cutting through the air."

A brief silence.

Then—

A sharp whistle echoed.

And everything happened at once.

SHHHHHHHHH—!

From the darkness ahead—

Arrows.

Hundreds of them.

They shot forward like a storm, their tips glinting faintly as they tore through the air—fast, precise, deadly.

At the same time—

The ground beneath them trembled.

A deep rumble followed.

Something massive was moving.

"Aizen—!"

"I see it!"

His eyes sharpened.

In that instant, his body moved.

Electricity sparked around him—fast, reactive, almost instinctive.

His arms lifted—

And he began deflecting.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Arrow after arrow was struck aside, his movements becoming a blur. Sparks of lightning erupted with every impact, scattering fragments of wood and metal across the ground.

His breathing remained steady.

Focused.

"…Too slow."

He stepped forward—

Faster now.

Stronger.

The arrows kept coming—but Aizen adapted.

Each movement sharper than the last.

Each reaction quicker.

Behind him, Lyra watched—ready to assist—but Aizen was holding his ground.

Then—

"Aizen, look out!"

Her voice cut through the chaos.

Aizen's eyes widened slightly.

"…What?"

And then he saw it.

One arrow.

Different.

Darker.

Faster.

It cut through the others—not like a projectile, but like something guided.

"…That one—!"

Aizen reacted instantly.

Electricity surged outward—

A barrier formed around him.

A crackling forcefield of blue lightning surrounded his body, humming with raw energy.

"Don't worry!" he said confidently.

"These arrows won't even get thr—"

CRACK.

Time seemed to slow.

The arrow struck the barrier.

For a split second—

Resistance.

Then—

It shattered.

The forcefield broke apart like glass.

Aizen's eyes widened.

"…What?!"

The arrow pierced through—

Just barely missing him as he twisted his body aside at the last second.

His heart pounded.

"That… broke my barrier…?"

Lyra grabbed his arm.

"We need to move—now!"

Aizen didn't argue.

"Yeah—run!"

They sprinted.

The arrows followed.

Relentless.

Precise.

The path twisted ahead, the walls narrowing as if guiding them.

"Over here!" Lyra shouted, pulling him toward a slight curve in the path.

They dove behind a jagged stone formation.

Arrows struck the wall—

THUD! THUD! THUD!

Fragments scattered, but none reached them.

Aizen exhaled sharply.

"…That was close."

But then—

The ground shook again.

Stronger this time.

A deep rumbling echoed behind them.

Aizen turned.

"…You've got to be kidding me."

A massive boulder.

Rolling straight toward them.

Fast.

Too fast.

The entire path trembled under its weight.

"Lyra—!"

"I see it!"

Aizen stepped forward.

"…I'll handle this."

Lyra looked at him.

"…You sure?"

He smirked slightly.

"Yeah."

A faint spark danced across his arms.

"Leave it to me."

He stepped into the path.

Facing the incoming destruction.

The boulder grew larger.

Closer.

Louder.

Aizen closed his eyes for a brief second.

"…Focus."

Electricity gathered.

Not wild this time.

Controlled.

Refined.

Blue lightning wrapped around his arms—tight, dense.

And then—

Faint streaks of yellow began to appear within it.

"…Huh."

Aizen noticed it too.

"…This is new."

But no time to think.

The boulder was right in front of him.

"Let's see if this works."

He planted his feet.

Pulled his arm back.

"…Electrify."

The air crackled violently.

Then—

"—BREAK!"

He punched forward.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The impact shook the entire chamber.

Lightning exploded outward.

The boulder shattered.

Not cracked.

Not split.

Shattered completely into countless pieces that scattered across the path like debris from an explosion.

Silence followed.

Small rocks fell to the ground.

Dust filled the air.

Aizen stood still.

His arm lowered slowly.

"…Heh."

Then—

Pain.

His arm trembled.

Blood dripped from his hand.

"…Ah."

Lyra rushed to him immediately.

"Aizen!"

Her eyes widened.

"You're bleeding!"

Aizen glanced at his arm.

"…It's nothing."

He forced a small smile.

"It'll heal."

But the wound was deeper than he expected.

The skin was torn.

The strain from the impact had pushed his body too far.

Lyra didn't listen.

"Sit down."

Her tone was firm.

"Now."

Aizen blinked.

"…Alright."

He sat.

Lyra knelt beside him, her hands already glowing faintly.

Green light formed around her fingers.

"…This might hurt."

"No problem," Aizen replied casually.

Then—

She placed her hands over his wound.

The light intensified.

Thin strands—like roots—formed from the energy, wrapping gently around his arm.

Aizen flinched slightly.

"…Whoa."

The sensation was strange.

Not painful.

But not comfortable either.

It felt like something was moving beneath his skin—rebuilding, reconnecting.

"…Feels weird."

Lyra focused.

Her expression serious.

"…Stay still."

The green light pulsed.

Slowly—

The bleeding stopped.

The torn skin closed.

The damage faded.

Aizen flexed his hand.

"…It's gone."

He looked at her.

"…That's amazing."

Lyra exhaled quietly.

"…Don't get used to it."

Aizen tilted his head.

"…What do you mean?"

She avoided his gaze slightly.

"…I transferred some of the pain to myself."

Aizen froze.

"…What?"

She shrugged lightly.

"I only feel half of it."

A small pause.

"…But it still hurts."

Aizen looked at her differently now.

"…You didn't have to do that."

Lyra crossed her arms.

"…You shouldn't fight recklessly either."

A short silence passed.

Then Aizen scratched his cheek.

"…Sorry."

Lyra sighed.

"…Just be more careful."

After a moment, Aizen stood up.

"Well… we survived that."

He stretched slightly.

"…So we keep going?"

Lyra nodded.

"Yes."

Her expression hardened slightly.

"…We're already trapped anyway."

Aizen blinked.

"…Wait—what?"

She looked at him.

"If this is a dungeon, there are only two exits."

She raised two fingers.

"The entrance… and the final floor."

Aizen's expression slowly changed.

"…So we're stuck."

Lyra nodded.

"Until we clear it."

A small pause.

"…And judging by everything so far…"

She looked at the walls.

"…This place isn't random."

Aizen followed her gaze.

"…What do you mean?"

Her voice lowered.

"…It feels like a trial."

Silence.

"…For you."

Aizen smirked.

"…Then I'll pass it."

He crossed his arms confidently.

"I'm already strong."

Lyra didn't argue.

"…We'll see."

After walking for a while—

Aizen stopped.

"…Lyra."

She looked at him.

"…I'm hungry."

A pause.

"…We ate this morning, but time passed fast."

He looked around.

"…It might already be night."

Lyra thought for a moment.

"…You're right."

She reached into her pouch.

A soft green light appeared.

Fresh meat.

Vegetables.

Ingredients.

All perfectly preserved.

Aizen's eyes widened.

"…That's still cool."

He scratched his head.

"I was wondering why you were picking plants earlier."

Lyra smirked slightly.

"…Preparation matters."

As she began cooking—

Aizen sat nearby.

Watching.

Thinking.

It's been a while…

His gaze softened.

Since I've eaten something like this…

Memories flickered.

Weak.

Faint.

Back then… I was always sick…

His expression darkened slightly.

Then everything disappeared…

A pause.

And now…

He looked at Lyra.

I'm not alone.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

…I'm getting attached.

"Hey."

Lyra's voice snapped him back.

"The food's ready."

Aizen blinked.

"…Oh."

He stood.

"…I was just thinking."

Lyra tilted her head.

"…About what?"

He shrugged.

"…Nothing important."

Then he smiled slightly.

"…Just hungry."

Lyra handed him food.

"Then eat."

They sat together.

Eating.

Quiet.

Comfortable.

"…This is really good," Aizen said.

Lyra smiled slightly.

"I know."

Then—

Aizen spoke again.

"Lyra… you're around my age, right?"

She nodded.

"More or less."

He frowned.

"…But you're way more experienced."

A pause.

"…Are you nobility?"

Lyra stopped eating.

"…Yes."

Aizen blinked.

"…Wait, really?"

She looked at him.

"…Daughter of a Duke."

Aizen froze.

"…That's big."

Lyra continued.

"…But to them, I was just a tool."

Her voice grew colder.

"An arranged marriage."

"To someone I've never seen."

Aizen frowned.

"…That's messed up."

She gave a small, bitter smile.

"…That's why I ran."

A pause.

"…Pretty cool for a 'princess,' right?"

Aizen blinked.

"…Princess?"

Lyra nodded.

"My mother was royalty."

"…So yes."

Silence.

Then—

"…My uncle is the Dragon King."

Aizen's eyes widened.

"…What?"

Her expression darkened.

"…Zelfhar."

"…He wanted me to marry his son."

Aizen clenched his fist.

"…That guy again…"

His voice hardened.

"…Then I'll defeat him."

Lyra looked at him.

"…You're serious."

Aizen nodded.

"…Yeah."

After eating—

Aizen stood up.

"I'll secure the area."

Lyra nodded.

"I'll prepare the beds."

Aizen moved toward the path.

Using his strength, he blocked both directions.

Stone.

Debris.

And then—

A barrier.

Electric energy reinforced the structure.

Durable outside.

Fragile inside.

Controlled.

Meanwhile—

Lyra cleaned everything.

Stored it.

Then prepared the beds.

Two beds.

Close together.

Again.

Aizen noticed.

But said nothing.

"Come on," Lyra said.

"Let's sleep."

Aizen stretched.

"…Yeah."

"You sleep first," he added. "I'll stretch."

Lyra nodded.

"…Don't stay up too long."

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

After a while—

Aizen finished stretching.

He didn't notice—

His tail had slipped out.

Soft.

Black.

Swaying slightly.

His golden eyes reflected the dim light.

Quiet.

Sharp.

Alive.

He extinguished the fire.

And lay down.

Within moments—

He was asleep.

Somewhere deep within the dungeon—

Something stirred.

Watching.

Waiting.

In the morning, Lyra woke up much earlier than Aizen.

The air inside the dungeon felt different compared to the outside world. It was colder, heavier—almost as if the walls themselves were breathing slowly, watching them. The faint echoes of dripping water could be heard in the distance, each drop landing with an eerie rhythm that made the silence feel even deeper.

But despite the quiet… Lyra felt uneasy.

It wasn't just a feeling.

It was instinct.

It was as if something—no, many things—were waiting just beyond the barrier Aizen created. Creatures lurking, pacing, crawling… waiting for the moment the barrier would fall.

Lyra slowly sat up, her silver hair falling gently over her shoulders as her eyes scanned the area.

"…Something's there," she whispered to herself.

She placed a hand on her chest, feeling her heartbeat. It was steady—but her instincts were screaming.

Still… she couldn't wake Aizen just yet.

He needed rest.

Quietly, Lyra stood up and began washing her face using a small sphere of water she created with magic. The cool liquid slid across her skin, refreshing her senses and calming her mind—just a little.

After that, she took out some bread she had stored inside her magical pouch.

Not just bread.

Survival food.

Simple, but efficient.

She also took out eggs—fresh, preserved perfectly by magic—and some light stuffing ingredients she had gathered earlier.

"Let's make this quick…" she muttered softly.

With a gentle motion of her hand, a small flame ignited above her palm. Unlike yesterday's strong flames, this one was controlled, soft, precise.

She cracked the eggs.

Sizzle—

The sound echoed softly as the eggs began cooking mid-air, supported by her magic. The smell slowly filled the area—warm, comforting… almost out of place in a dungeon like this.

She sliced the bread open, placed the eggs inside, added stuffing, and gently sealed it.

A simple meal.

But made with care.

After finishing, she turned toward Aizen, who was still sleeping peacefully.

For a moment… she just stood there.

Watching him.

"…You really sleep like nothing happened yesterday," she whispered.

She slowly walked closer.

"Aizen…"

Her voice was soft.

Gentle.

"Ugkkh…" Aizen groaned slightly, shifting his position.

"Aizen. Wake up. Breakfast is ready."

Her voice was a little louder this time—but still warm.

Aizen slowly opened his eyes, blinking as his vision adjusted.

"Oh… sorry I woke up late. What's for breakfast?"

"It's cooked bread. It'll be delicious."

"Oh! Sweet!"

Aizen quickly sat up, stretching his body. His muscles still felt sore from yesterday's fight, but the pain had dulled.

After washing his face, he sat down and began eating the bread.

The moment he took a bite—

"…Woah."

Warm.

Soft.

Savory.

It wasn't just food—it felt comforting.

Lyra began eating with him, quietly observing his reaction.

She handed him water.

Aizen drank it immediately, finishing it in seconds.

"Puff… That's great. You're such a good cooker, Lyra. Should we get going now?"

Lyra shook her head slightly.

"Let's prepare ourselves first. You get the beds and fold them. Give them to me when you've folded both. I'll clean the table and store everything in my pouch. I also saved some bread for later… just in case."

"Got it."

Aizen stood up and began folding the beds.

Meanwhile, Lyra cleaned everything efficiently, using magic to remove dirt and instantly store utensils inside her pouch.

Then—

"Hey, Aizen… I have a question."

"Uh, yeah? What is it?"

Lyra paused for a moment.

Then asked—

"When is your birthday? So I'll know when to congratulate you."

Aizen blinked.

"…Huh."

That was… unexpected.

"Owh… hmm… I was born Frostrael 7, year 10002. What about you?"

Lyra's eyes widened slightly.

"Oh! We were born five months apart! I'm born in Solmara 2, same year."

"I see…"

Aizen handed her the folded beds.

"Oh, here."

"Thanks. I think we're done here. Let's go and exit the dungeon!"

"Yeah! Let's go!"

Before moving, Lyra tied her hair behind her head, tightening it neatly.

Her violet eyes shimmered slightly… faint traces of blue appearing within them.

A subtle change.

A sign of something deeper.

Meanwhile—

Aizen stood there.

Black hair.

Black beast ears.

A tail swaying slightly behind him.

Golden eyes glowing faintly like treasure hidden in darkness.

They were only 13 years old.

But their presence… their survival skills…

Far beyond their age.

Year 10015, Verdanthis 9.

----

‎Auroris (January), Valenthra (February), Verdanthis (March), Aetheris (April),

Solmara (May), Ignivar (June), Tempestris (July)

Draconis (August), Umbryx (September)

Noctyra (October), Frostrael (November)

Luminarys (December)

----

Aizen stepped forward and pushed the barrier.

Crack—

The barrier shattered instantly.

And the moment it collapsed—

They realized.

They were not alone.

Fifteen mutated monsters stood ahead.

Lizard-like creatures.

Tall.

Standing on two legs.

Each holding a long, rusted sword.

Their eyes glowed faintly red.

They had been waiting.

Watching.

Hunting.

"Lyra… let's go."

"Yes! Aqua Stream!"

A burst of water surged forward, crashing into the lizards.

The force pinned them down temporarily, slowing their movements.

"Electrify!"

Lightning gathered in Aizen's left hand.

Condensed.

Sharper.

More controlled than before.

In his right hand—a dagger, slightly infused with lightning.

"Take this you Lizards!"

He rushed forward.

Fast.

Striking two lizards.

But—

They didn't die.

Their wounds began healing instantly.

"…What?"

"Aizen look out!"

Slash—

A blade struck his back.

Blood spilled instantly.

"OW! Take this you Lizards!"

He retaliated, killing one with full force.

But—

He was already breathing heavily.

Then—

All fourteen remaining lizards charged at him.

Inside Aizen's mind—

How do we win this…?

I thought I was strong…

But if they're this strong… what about the boss?

"Lyra! I think they're weak to fire! My lightning burned them!"

"Yes! Thanks!"

"Fire ball! Incinerate!"

Flames exploded across the battlefield.

Fireballs slammed into enemies.

Spikes of fire erupted from the ground.

Now—

They had the advantage.

"Electrify! Legs and Hands!"

Lightning surged through Aizen's body.

He moved faster.

Stronger.

Combining motion with power.

Lyra continued casting—

"Fire ball! Fire ball! Incinerate!"

Her mana draining rapidly.

Only a few lizards remained.

But both of them…

Were getting exhausted.

And they knew—

If their mana reached zero…

They would die.

Not instantly.

But slowly.

Painfully.

"Lyra! Refuel! I'll handle the rest!"

"Got it! Be safe!"

Aizen stood alone.

Six enemies left.

"…Heh."

"Six against one…"

His body trembled.

Not from fear.

From pressure.

From power.

"I'll show you… what I can do…"

He began circulating his mana.

Condensing it.

Fire.

Lightning.

Combining both.

Dangerous.

Unstable.

"…If this fails… I might die…"

But he didn't stop.

"HERE—FIERY SLASH!"

BOOM—

The attack exploded outward.

Five lizards died instantly.

One remained.

Aizen collapsed to one knee.

"…I… did it…"

But the last lizard stood.

Unharmed.

"Aizen!"

"Incinerate!"

Lyra appeared.

Fire pierced through the final monster.

It burned.

Collapsed.

Dead.

Silence.

Lyra fell to her knees, panting.

"I… managed to recover a bit… You could've died, Aizen…"

"…Thanks, Lyra…"

Aizen lay back slightly, exhausted.

"…Dungeons are too hard…"

Lyra nodded.

"…There are around 100 floors here… We're only on Floor 1."

"…That's insane…"

But then—

Aizen smiled slightly.

"…Good."

"This means… I'll get stronger."

Lyra looked at him.

"…Yeah."

After resting for an hour…

Eating.

Drinking.

Recovering…

They stood up again.

In front of the path ahead.

Dark.

Unknown.

Dangerous.

"…Ready?" Lyra asked.

Aizen nodded.

"…Yeah."

And together—

They walked forward.

Into the dungeon.

Where stronger monsters awaited.

Where trials would break them—

Or make them stronger.

Where the truth of Aizen's power…

Would slowly begin to awaken.

Aizen and Lyra Began their Conquer for the Dungeon. And It took 4 years. For them to reach the final floor.

Those four years were not simply time passing quietly.

Every single day inside the dungeon felt heavy, dangerous, and suffocating. The air itself carried pressure, as if the dungeon was constantly watching them, testing them, judging every move they made. Their bodies grew stronger, but so did their scars—both visible and hidden.

Floor 2 to floor 10 ordinary monsters. Lizards but different colors and different attributes.

But those "ordinary monsters" were far from easy.

Blue Lizards from floor 2, they are weak to Lightning attacks, and On floor 4 Red lizards and Weak to Water Magic, On Floor 6 All 3 lizards are combined. And It took a huge toll on both Aizen and Lyra.

On Floor 2, the Blue Lizards moved with unnatural speed. Their bodies were sleek, their scales reflecting faint blue light like flowing water. When Aizen first attacked them with pure strength, his claws barely scratched them.

"Why isn't this working?!" Aizen shouted, frustrated.

The Blue Lizard suddenly dashed forward and struck his side with its tail.

BAM!

Aizen was thrown backward, hitting the stone wall hard.

"Aizen!" Lyra shouted, quickly analyzing the situation.

"Use Lightning! Their bodies conduct energy!" she added.

Aizen gritted his teeth and stood up again, his golden eyes glowing faintly.

"Electrify!"

Blue lightning surged through his arms, wrapping around his claws like living energy. This time, when he struck—

CRACK!

The Blue Lizard convulsed violently, its body shaking before collapsing.

Aizen exhaled deeply. "So that's how it works…"

Lyra nodded. "Don't waste energy. Learn and adapt."

That was their first true lesson.

On floor 4 Red lizards and Weak to Water Magic.

The Red Lizards were completely different. Their bodies radiated intense heat, and their breath released waves of fire that distorted the air itself.

"Aqua Veil!" Lyra chanted.

Water formed around Aizen's arms, cooling the heat before it could burn him. When Aizen attacked again—

SSSSHHHH!

Steam exploded everywhere as fire met water.

The Red Lizards shrieked as their burning bodies were suppressed.

Aizen smirked slightly. "Now this is working."

Lyra replied calmly, "Keep your focus. Don't get careless."

On Floor 6 All 3 lizards are combined.

Blue. Red. Green.

Three different threats at once.

"Left side Blue!" Lyra warned.

"Electrify!" Aizen responded instantly.

"Right side Red!"

"Aqua support me!"

"Behind you—Green!"

Aizen turned too late.

SLASH!

The Green Lizard's claws tore into his back, drawing blood immediately.

"Ghh—!"

He staggered forward, his breathing becoming heavy.

But this time, he didn't fall.

Instead, he clenched his fists, lightning and fire surging together.

"Electrify! Fiery slash!"

His attack burned and shocked the enemy at the same time, forcing it back.

That battle nearly killed them.

And It took a huge toll on both Aizen and Lyra.

Days turned into weeks.

Weeks turned into months.

Their bodies hardened, their reflexes sharpened, and their coordination improved. They no longer fought separately—they began to move together naturally, like two halves of the same blade.

On floor 10 it was Aizens Another Awakening.

The boss room was massive, far larger than any previous floor. The ground was cracked and uneven, with broken pillars scattered everywhere as if something enormous had been fighting there for centuries.

Then—

Thunder was Summoned inside the Dungeon and it Boosted Aizens Strength, agility and Perceptions. He can see more clearly and much Faster.

A skill called Passive clouds.

Aizen froze for a moment.

"…What is this power…?"

Clouds formed above him—inside the dungeon.

Lightning crackled around his body, stronger than ever before.

It was when Aizen and Lyra was fighting the White, Blue, Green, Red, Purple and Blue Colored Iguana. A giant Iguana. This iguana is as big as 13 meters.

The Rainbow Iguana roared loudly, its voice shaking the entire room.

A gigantic Boss room. And this monster can spawn the Earlier Mobs. Like the Lizards.

Lizards of different types began appearing around them, attacking from every direction.

But this boss isnt weak to Magic. It's weak to Pure strength, which Aizen is fully capable.

And Lyra was able to understand the Concept of Support. She can now help Aizen Boost his strength, speed and Endurance.

"Lyra! Boost me!"

Aizen asked Lyra.

"Here! Be careful! Even if this is only at floor ten, it's still a boss!"

Lyra told Aizen.

Aizen used the skill of clouds to strengthen himself and was Boosted by Lyra's Magic. Meaning he's even stronger.

It took them 2 week to get to the 10th floor. And the boss Fight took 8 hours.

Eight long hours of constant fighting.

Aizen's breathing became rough. His muscles burned. Every movement felt heavier than before.

And the boss is still alive, but it's also Weakened.

But Lyra and Aizen are puffed out. They are so tired.

For 13 years olds to fight this kind of battle. They are very brave to Accept this Kind if trial.

Though Aizen is recovering from Lyra's healing magic, Lyra is Loosing her Magical energy and Is Coming at a loose.

Her hands trembled slightly.

Her vision blurred.

She's weakening and it'll take awhile for her to Recover.

But she didn't back down.

"I… won't stop…" Lyra whispered.

A sudden surge of Red energy Came from Lyra's Core. Her Magical Energy is Refueling Fast. Too fast.

Her eyes glowed faintly red for a moment.

And she instantly healed Aizen.

"Finish it… Aizen!" she shouted.

Lyra Summoned a Large Spiky rock below the Giant Iguana. And it Hit the Iguana on its tail. And cannot move.

The giant creature roared in pain as its movement was stopped.

And it's Aizens Time.

Aizen stood up, his entire body surrounded by lightning.

He uses the Cloud skill. Used his Electrify skill. And screamed at the Iguana.

"ELECTRIFY!!!"

Though Aizen didn't realize his Hands was covered in Yellow lightning.

The lightning changed color—becoming stronger, denser, more dangerous.

"THIS ENDS NOW!"

He dashed forward at incredible speed.

He one shotted the Injured Iguana. And it's Head has a big Hole.

Silence filled the dungeon.

They finally finished the Floor 10.

Now they are just getting started.

It's only the floor 10. They don't know when there will be another boss. On floor 15 or floor 20.

But they are tired.

And all the Lizards began disappearing. Even the Giant Iguana.

Both Aizen and Lyra Was Exhausted, And both of them collapsed.

While both of them was unconscious. Someone picked them up. And Moved them to a Comfy bed. A Bed Comfy for Aizen and Lyra.

They thought they had died.

Now Lyra woke up. In a different room, she only remembered fighting the boss of floor 10. And then someone talked.

The moment her eyes opened, her body reacted instantly.

She sat up quickly, her instincts alert, her breathing steady but cautious. The room she found herself in was completely different from the dungeon floors they had been struggling through. The air was warm, calm, and almost too peaceful. The walls were smooth stone, glowing faintly with embedded crystals that gave off a soft golden light.

"…Where… am I?" Lyra whispered quietly.

She looked around and saw Aizen lying beside her, unconscious but breathing steadily. Relief washed over her for a moment—but only for a moment.

Something was wrong.

Too calm.

Too quiet.

Then—

"Hello there sweetheart. It seems your awake. Right now your in the break room of Floor 10. Every 10 floors there would be a Boss and a Break room. You can relax here as long as you want. There's food here and Items that could help you Conquer the whole Dungeon. Before you ask me who I am. I'm the Operator for this Whole Dungeon and I'm only here to Watch. But Since both of you Finished the floor 10 boss I was allows to bring the two of you to the break room. I was asleep for a long time. Around 200 years has passed."

The mysterious man said to Lyra.

Lyra immediately stood up, her guard raised.

Her eyes locked onto the figure that slowly revealed itself from the shadows.

Heavy armor. Dark and ancient. Covered in scratches, yet strangely untouched by time.

There was no face.

Only darkness within the helmet.

"Then why didn't you tell us the things you know in this dungeon?"

Lyra asked the mysterious man.

Her tone was calm, but her body was tense, ready to react at any moment.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Garroth, I'm a skeleton inside this Armor and I cannot leave the armor or remove it. My only Function is to be of help for the Visitors that will conquer this Dungeon. This is a dungeon. And before you get into this dungeon there would be a trial. If you can survive that very trial you can come in the Dungeon. But you won't be able to leave. You need to Defeat the Final boss from floor 100."

Garroth said to Lyra.

Lyra's eyes narrowed slightly.

"So… this really is a trap…" she thought.

"Sir Garroth. Can't you see, we're just Teenagers."

Lyra told Garroth.

For a brief moment, silence filled the room.

"Yes, I know, but you Partner Aizen, needs to Complete this Dungeon for his own good. Or else it'll be disastrous."

Garroth replied.

Lyra felt a slight chill from those words.

"…Disastrous?" she thought, but she didn't press further.

"Then are you only on each 10 floors?"

Lyra asked Garroth.

"Yes, I only appear when you Complete floor 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90, and 100. I'm more of a guide. I'm mostly important on the floor 100. Since I will be the one who will take you to the door and escape from this Dungeon. Your a Born Noble Dragon, and Your Partnered with a Black Lion. Since I'm done explaining, I'll be waiting for the both of you on the floor 20. Makesure you survive."

Garroth replied to Lyra's question.

As Garroth said that, He disappeared.

No sound. No magic circle. He simply vanished, as if he was never there.

Lyra stood still for a moment before turning toward Aizen.

And Aizen woke up, his Arms bones are Wrecked and are in need for a long heal. Or else he could die.

He groaned as he slowly opened his eyes.

"…My arms… feel like they were crushed…" Aizen muttered weakly.

When Aizen woke up he asked what happened to the Floor 10 boss room. Lyra explained who save them and what Garroths Status in the Dungeon. He cannot interfere with their fight. Lyra also Healed Aizens Left arm while explaining everything.

Soft green light surrounded Aizen's arm as Lyra's healing magic began restoring the damaged bones.

"Looks like we're fully healed. Though my arms a little sore. Ill take this Bread before I get ready. You too Lyra."

Aizen said to Lyra.

"Yes, Since I've prepared much earlier than you, I'll have to wait until you're finished."

Lyra replied.

The break room gave them something they hadn't had in a long time.

Rest.

Real rest.

Their bodies slowly recovered. Their energy returned. Even their minds became clearer.

Aizens has Been fully healed. And Lyra has fully healed too and her magical energy has Greatly increased. Now they are ready for the next floors.

Floor 11.

On floor 11, there are Zombies. Zombies are weak to Anything that imitate light. And Casts lights. So it was easy for Aizen and Lyra to fight these zombies.

But even if they were weak—

They were endless.

The zombies moved slowly, dragging their bodies across the ground, but their numbers made them dangerous.

"Fire ball! Electric shock!"

Lyra chanted.

"Electrify! Fiery slash!"

Aizen casted.

Bright flashes of light exploded across the battlefield. Flames burned the undead while lightning tore through their bodies.

Both Attacked the Zombies. And Walked through it easily.

Now on floor 13 giant bats. No weaknesses only brute strength.

The bats were fast. Extremely fast.

They flew in swarms, attacking from every direction, their sharp fangs aimed at vital points.

Aizen swung his arms, lightning bursting outward, striking multiple bats at once.

"Too many…!" Aizen shouted.

Lyra supported him from behind, launching fireballs precisely to clear the swarm.

Aizen cleared it but he was getting tired so they set camp for that day.

After 2 weeks of Recovering Aizen and Lyra reached the Floor 17.

Now there's Headless Warriors. Those with axe, sword, and a spear, and those with Bows and Magic.

Headless people easily killed. Just like Zombies their weaknese are light.

But unlike zombies—

They were skilled.

Even without heads, their movements were precise and coordinated.

A spear suddenly thrust toward Aizen—

CLANG!

Lyra's barrier blocked it just in time.

"Don't underestimate them!" Lyra warned.

On floor 20 a skeleton Snake appeared. It's length is 22 meters long.

The massive skeletal creature slithered forward, its bones rattling loudly with every movement.

It's a gigantic snake but weak to Pure strength.

Aizen stepped forward, his fists clenched.

"Then I'll crush it."

The snake lunged—

Aizen dodged to the side and countered with a powerful punch infused with lightning.

CRACK!

The bones shattered slightly, proving Lyra's analysis correct.

After 3 weeks they came to the boss room but it only took 2 hours to defeat this skeletal snake. Much easier than the Rainbow iguana.

Now after reaching Floor 20. Aizen and Lyra are completely exhausted. They feel like their body are numbing.

Garroth took them to the Break room.

Aizen and Lyra recovered after 2 months.

Too much use of Magical energy and Stamina lead them to This state. Now it's taking more time than needed to Complete finish this Whole Dungeon.

"With that Long recovery it'll take you guys 5 years at most to escape this dungeon. Maybe try being careful around the monsters here? They aren't normal."

Garroth told Aizen and Lyra.

"Aizen you shouldn't charge recklessly, it'll endangered both you and me. We will need a plan with these new monsters.

Lyra told Aizen.

"Yes, let's go and conquer this Dungeon!"

Aizen replied to Lyra.

"See you soon, makesure none of you die."

Garroth told them.

After departing. They have gotten more experience from fighting in the Dungeon.

Aizen and Lyra has grown. Lyra is now 14 and Aizen is still 13. His still growing. And he's as tall as Lyra.

With more battles Aizen gets better at fighting. But he has no plans on his attacks.

On the 21st floor spiders Came crawling, these spiders are so fast at regeneration.

They have 8 legs and those 8 legs has to be burnt, cut, and remove from the main body.

And also needs to be cutted fast enough before it regerate.

The first time they fought them—

They failed.

Aizen cut one leg.

It regenerated instantly.

Lyra burned another—

It regrew.

"…This is impossible," Aizen muttered.

"No," Lyra replied. "We just haven't figured it out yet."

They kept trying.

Failing.

Adapting.

All the spiders are the same. From floor 21 to floor 29.

After 5 months Aizen is now 14 years old.

And it's now 10,015 Frostrael 12.

Time continued moving forward.

As it is. The Boss of Floor 30 might be a spider too. But just bigger and Stronger.

This will make Aizen and Lyra Very Exhausted.

Their Destination Is still infront of them.

They will move forward.

And Get stronger.
