Chapter 500 - Chapter 500

Big Mom landed heavily, her massive body striking the ground and shaking all of Onigashima.

Rocks scattered in all directions, and nearby trees swayed precariously from the impact.

Gripping the Napoleon Great Sword, its enormous blade glinting coldly in the sunlight, her pink hair billowed wildly behind her like blazing flames, adding to her untamed and domineering presence.

Her eyes gleamed with dangerous light, fixed intently on Saint Saturn as if trying to see through him.

"Old man Saturn, you and your ilk always take advantage of others' misfortune—truly the most treacherous rats..." Big Mom's voice reverberated across Onigashima.

"Big Mom..." Saint Saturn's expression darkened, shadowed and oppressive.

His gaze shifted between Big Mom and Kaido, searching for weaknesses in the situation.

The purple glow on his cane flickered intermittently, mirroring his unsettled mind. Big Mom's appearance had disrupted his meticulously laid plans.

At this moment, his brows were deeply furrowed, etched with frustration and resentment.

Earlier, while lying in ambush, he'd been cautious, deliberately suppressing his aura and not even releasing Observation Haki, fearing the slightest disturbance might alert the enemy.

Yet, despite this seemingly flawless plan, he never expected Big Mom to slip through the cracks.

"Charlotte Linlin..."

Saint Saturn's already hoarse voice now sounded as if grated by sandpaper, carrying uncontrollable, boiling rage.

Each words seemed to be squeezed out through gritted teeth.

"Are you meddling in this matter too?"

Upon hearing this, Big Mom curled her lips disdainfully and let out a contemptuous sneer, the sound piercing in the tense atmosphere.

Her Napoleon Great Sword, gleaming with a chilling light, pointed directly at Saint Saturn, her eyes filled with scorn and provocation.

"Mamamamama... I can't stand your kind who stab people in the back! Hmph, don't think I don't know about your shady dealings."

As she spoke, she turned her head slightly, her gaze falling upon the severely wounded Kaido lying on the ground.

Kaido was covered in wounds, blood gushing out and staining the surrounding earth crimson.

Looking at this once wild brat, a flicker of complex emotion passed through Big Mom's eyes, but it quickly vanished, replaced by her usual arrogance.

She snorted coldly, "Though Kaido is stupid as hell, always acting recklessly and impulsively, he was still my companion back in the day! I can't just stand by and watch him get killed."

As the standoff between Big Mom and Saint Saturn intensified, the atmosphere on the battlefield grew subtly tense, like an invisible shadow looming over everyone.

Affected by the escalating situation, the members of the Whitebeard Pirates instinctively drew closer together, exchanging glances filled with both worry and determination, vigilantly observing every subtle shift in the conflict.

Marco stood beside Whitebeard, his brows tightly knit, a trace of concern in his eyes.

He leaned in slightly, lowering his voice to a whisper only the two of them could hear, and asked.

"Pops, what do we do now? The situation is getting more complicated. We need to figure out our next move."

Whitebeard lifted his head slightly, his large hand slowly stroking the hilt of his Murakumogiri.

The patterns on the hilt seemed to come alive under his touch, faintly exuding an aura of authority.

"Let's wait and see... This show is getting more and more interesting," Whitebeard said slowly.

Kaido lay on the ground, gasping for breath, each inhale accompanied by violent coughs, blood continuously trickling from the corner of his mouth.

A complex mix of emotions flickered in his dragon-like eyes: surprise at Big Mom's intervention, helplessness at the current situation, and a stubborn refusal to yield.

He never expected that, in his moment of desperation, it would be this old hag who came to his aid.

But now wasn't the time for sentiment.

Gritting his teeth, he forced himself to stand up, his body swaying unsteadily, yet he managed to stay on his feet.

He tightened his grip on the Hassaikai once more, the sharp weapon seeming to come alive in his hand, emitting a low, resonant hum.

"Linlin... I owe you one this time." Kaido's voice was hoarse, yet it carried a trace of sincerity.

Upon hearing Kaido's words, Big Mom snorted coldly, turning her head to glare at him with undisguised displeasure in her eyes.

"Enough nonsense! After we deal with this old fool, I'll settle accounts with you! Don't think I'm helping you unconditionally, you idiot. If you keep acting so recklessly in the future, I won't bother with you again."

Saint Saturn watched the two Yonko standing shoulder to shoulder, a hint of apprehension rising in his heart.

His gaze swept back and forth between them.

Realizing the situation was unfavorable for him, Saint Saturn slowly took a step back.

The black glow that had been shimmering on his cane gradually receded.

"That's enough for today..." Saint Saturn said coldly, unwilling to waste any more time here.

Originally, his objective had been to capture the Lunarian brat.

Now that he'd achieved his goal, he'd intended to eliminate Kaido while he had the chance, never expecting Big Mom to interfere.

Staying here to face the combined assault of two Yonko served no purpose, so Saint Saturn turned to make a quick exit.

Just as Saint Saturn turned around,

"BOOM CRACK!!!"

A blinding lightning bolt, like an enraged silver dragon, tore through the sky.

The lightning was so intense that everything around was illuminated as bright as day.

Whitebeard's massive frame descended before Saint Saturn like a god descending from heaven!

The Murakumogiri was wreathed in blue-white lightning that seemed alive, dancing and flickering around the blade.

The tip of the blade pointed directly at Saint Saturn, and amidst the flashing lightning, the roar of thunder could be heard.

"Gurarararara!" Whitebeard grinned, revealing a mouthful of white teeth, his laughter echoing across the battlefield.

"Come and go as you please? It seems you have no regard for this old man at all—Saturn!"

The final words exploded like thunder, with a substantial shockwave of Conqueror's Haki spreading outwards from Whitebeard!

Wherever the shockwave reached, the ground shook as if struck by an earthquake, cracking open with fissures spreading out like vicious scars.

Saint Saturn was forced to reveal himself, a flash of surprise in his pupils.

He hadn't expected Whitebeard to intervene at this moment, and the power displayed in this single strike far exceeded his expectations.

"Edward Newgate..."
