Aria POV
After the battle with the Gods things were peaceful as they can be.
"Your move Layla." (Charles)
Me and Charles Xavier were playing chess at the institutes back garden as I moved my piece.
"Now, you want Franklin to attend the school, why should I allow this, he already learned how to control his gifts?" (Aria)
"I know you will be worried without reading your mind, that's why your family would be allowed to live in the institute." (Charles)
"Well, Susan isn't a mutant along with Valerie, I'll have to talk to Susan about this before I decide." (Aria)
"Of course, I just letting you know that the door is always opened." (Charles)
"That's good to know, I'll give it some thought really but know that my son's and family's safety are my top priority." (Aria)
"Of course, that is always a must." (Charles)
I moved my final piece.
"Checkmate." (Aria)
"Still you reveal your strategy at the very end." (Charles)
"That's how I do things." (Aria)
Once then we went back inside to see students walking to class as we moved down the hall.
"I know you don't have good thoughts on the mutants being treated unfairly." (Charles)
"Yes, it really is a shame but I know if anyone comes for my sons they will meet resistance from me at every turn." (Aria)
"Mutants have been persecuted for a long time, I wish to bridge the gap of this truly but it will take time." (Charles)
"I know, but it won't stop me from helping either as kids who are born with gifts should be treated better, I don't care what they are, they are children that I will protect." (Aria)
"As will I Aria." (Charles)
We reached where we see a little kids happening as I smiled at the little children listening to a story as they are taken in by it.
