Alex looked down at Marcus with a cold, mocking smile.
"What do you call this place, Marcus? A sanctuary… isn't it?" he said, his voice dripping with cruel amusement. "The same place where you called me a friend… and then humiliated me. Again and again."
He paused, letting the words sink in.
"I was screaming for you to leave me alone... Let me go. Did you listen?"
Marcus stared at Alex, his swollen, bloodied eyes wide with shock and helplessness. He opened his mouth, but no words came out. The shame, the guilt, the pain... everything choked him into silence.
"No. Instead you were counting points there," Alex continued, his voice dripping with mockery.
"Now… hear how your mother screams, and tell me how many points she earns after I'm done with her."
Alex taunted as he turned his attention back to Natalia.
