With those words, a terrifying aura swept across heaven and earth. Black flames burned continuously in the void, separating Esdeath and the black dragon-shaped Danger Beast into an absolute zone.

The extreme cold pierced through the black dragon's body in an instant. Its hardened scales were as fragile as tofu. Black flames burned furiously at the dragon's wounds, attempting to repair the punctures.
The black dragon pulled back slightly, golden pupils contracting.
Only now did it suddenly realize the human's strength was not quite what it had assumed.
The creature could tell its offspring had been killed by this opponent—it had elevated its opponent's power as much as possible in its estimation. But had the arrogance in its heart limited its imagination?
It had never once considered that this human could defeat it!
The black dragon's thoughts lasted only a moment—then, with a phoenix cry, endless ice froze its body solid.
**"BOOM!"**

From Esdeath's last message in the chat group, it wasn't hard to see she'd met an enemy—and a Danger Beast that could make her call it interesting.
After all, "big one" wasn't a descriptor for humans.
Only Super Ancient Danger Beasts could hold Esdeath's interest among the Danger Beasts.
