Professor Panen directed his gaze to Hera.
"You were here yet all these happened? What use are you if you can't even do your job properly?" He scolded roughly.
Koul's attention left Lanice and went straight to Panen who scolded his wife in such a rough tone.
Then he glanced briefly at Hera whose head was dipped and quietly took the scoldings, further infuriating him.
Koul dragged his eyes back to the professor and zeroed on him coldly.
Marie flinched a little when she noticed Koul's cold eyes that pierced the professor who was too distracted by anger to notice.
She'd been following Koul's gaze since earlier so she noticed. But aside from her, Lanice also noticed this.
This created a series of questions in her mind. She wondered what connection was there between Koul and Hera for him to have acted out in the beginning and now, glaring coldly at the professor.
