The vehicle sped along the desolate road, wheels kicking up clouds of dust.
The driver, a blond man, was Clay. His black alloy mask covering half of his face integrated multiple tactical monocles, continuously scanning the road conditions and surrounding environment data.
In an inadvertent glance at the rearview mirror inside the car, just as he was preparing to observe the back—
The red electronic eye on the right side of his mask, typically dim for precision aiming, suddenly sensed an incomprehensible high threat and burst forth with dazzling crimson light!
The frequency was as frantic as an alarm on the brink of overload!
"What the hell... is it?"
Clay's breath came to an abrupt halt as through the small rearview mirror, he clearly saw.
On the vehicle's rear trunk bar that was supposed to be empty, there sat an old man dressed in a dark Zhongshan suit, holding a cane!
When did he get on?!
Why hadn't all his sensors, weight detectors, and thermal scanners responded at all?
