"Didn't she want to see me? Take me to her," Lin Miao pondered for a moment after listening to Yue Mei'Er's explanation and instructed.

"Young master, I've already arranged dinner for you. Why not let Mei'Er accompany you for a meal first, and then you can go? It wouldn't be too late," Yue Mei'Er suggested.
Lin Miao thought about it, nodded in agreement. Situ Wan was already there, going a bit earlier or later didn't make much difference.
He then accompanied Yue Mei'Er for dinner, and even called Lien Yurou over. Yue Mei'Er probably understood that this girl would be a part of their family in the future, just without any threat, and instead showed more enthusiasm towards Lianxin.
