Aiden Grant looked at the cool smile on Lily Shaw's face, and his heart sank. This little woman's guard was way too strong.
He'd already spoken so bluntly, yet this little woman simply chose not to say a word. This kind of silent rejection gave him a headache.
All the way to the parking lot of a large supermarket, the two of them only exchanged a few casual remarks, but both tacitly avoided bringing up the previous topic again.
For them, this pair of contract spouses, that kind of topic was far too sensitive. Once it was pierced through, the "purely" contractual relationship in Lily Shaw's eyes would suffer a fatal blow.
"Husband, why don't you get out first? Once I park the car, I'll come find you at the main entrance, okay?" Lily Shaw glanced at Aiden Grant as she spoke.
The underground garage was a bit chilly; she was worried that the man wearing only a casual suit jacket might accidentally catch a cold.
