"That girl from the Caldwell Family, right!"
The Old Master knows exactly who he's talking about, and so does the Old Mrs. Lockwood.
Sure enough, following their gaze, Miss Caldwell is holding a wine glass, heading towards Carter Lockwood.
Just as he does with others, Carter Lockwood maintains a stern face, engaging Miss Caldwell in conversation because of their cooperation with Caldwell Group.
Miss Caldwell is accustomed to Carter Lockwood's cold demeanor, yet her smile remains poised.
"Forget it."
Old Mrs. Lockwood shakes her head, "This girl from the Caldwell Family has pursued Carter for so long, yet he hasn't been moved one bit. Trying to pair them up, hmph!"
"Anna is better."
Old Mrs. Lockwood has always liked Anna Morgan when she's with Sean Lockwood.
Though she can't be a granddaughter-in-law, being a daughter-in-law is even better.
The banquet concludes, and Anna Morgan, along with Mrs. Monroe and Eldest Master Monroe, bids farewell to the Lockwood Family.
