"My parents' birthday celebration is coming up soon."
"Hmm." Ethan Grant thought Carter Lockwood was calling to invite him to the birthday celebration.
"The invitation has been sent to The Grant Corporation, but I can't make it, so I'll let my parents go."
Mr. Grant and The Matron Grant were divorced; however, as Mr. Grant's attitude toward Serena Sullivan changed, The Matron Grant's relationship with him eased.
The two of them didn't remarry, but they lived together.
"Hmm." Carter replied, "I know."
"Ethan, there's something I'm very conflicted about."
For Carter to be conflicted about something, Ethan Grant smiled, "Anna Morgan."
If there's something that could trouble Carter, who else could it be other than Anna Morgan.
"I heard the two of you are doing well."
Carter didn't really like talking about his personal matters; when it came to his emotional affairs, they could only observe.
"Hmm!"
Carter admitted.
Being with Anna Morgan was better than he imagined.
