This is for fear of making Mrs. Monroe uncomfortable if she goes in.
Finn Chandler watched Anna Morgan enter the hospital room, just when he was about to go in too, her phone rang.
The number was unfamiliar yet somewhat familiar, Finn answered, and upon hearing "Finn" from the other side, he knew who it was.
"Is it Mr. Lockwood?"
"Yes!"
"Anna refuses to take my calls. I heard from Julian that you're at the hospital. How is she?"
Usually cold and reticent, Carter Lockwood said a lot on the phone, even sounding a bit urgent.
Mrs. Monroe had an incident; Carter Lockwood called Anna Morgan, but she refused to answer. He thought about visiting the hospital but worried that Anna might be upset.
"Not too well."
Finn replied, "No, it's really bad!"
"Oh."
On the other side, Carter Lockwood's voice fell low, Finn continued, "Mr. Lockwood, you'll need to stay with Anna more during this time."
