The wargame just started, or to be precise keep going as every cadet start plotting their next move while Enyx is trying to figure out what actually going on. He get a number of messages on his personal tablet explaining how things work and what he can or cannot do. After skimiming through the guideline he take a deep breath and regain his composure.
''Okay, it couldn't be more difficult than a campaign of AOGE (Age of Galatic Empire) on Iron man mode'' he start thinking. ''I need to assess the situation first. We have the commonwealth (Yellow), the empire (Red) and the alliance (Blue). Lets call them by their respective color or i risk to lose myself with all these fancy names.''
He look at his Tab.
''According to this scenario, Mimir is my home planet. 90% water. Oh like that mangas I was reading last time. Population around 300.000, coming from all the corner of the galaxy. There ain't that many resources on this planet either but got a pretty decent reserve that we bring from the world we fled. So we are left with the option to exploit the asteroids around us.''
He look at the map, there was indeed a lot of asteroid around the system and some of them around the various planets. The system is pratically virgin so they are the only intelligent lifeform around. Kalis look at the map on his feet with the planet and its two moon floating around.
''So I am in charge of one modest and isolated planet. Meanwhile for the others''.

As he can observe they already got plenty of ships and solid foundation as factions, after all they have been playing for almost 4 months now for an in game time around 2 year and 3 months. Also each faction resources seems pretty significant in comparison, but since they are at each other throat most of their spending are in defense. Talking about the resources there actually 4 main in this wargame and in the galaxy at large.
Corolotih or Olith: A weird rock purplelike which produce a vast of amount energy once he got refined. Everybody use it anywhere everywhere in anything. It allow to power ships, cities, factories, beam weapons, space stations and a most of the electronic. Needless to say this is the most important thing in the galaxy.
Metal rear or Black Rock (Its common name) : This piece of rare Steel are found mainly on asteroid or dead planet. It is basically a construction material allowing to build most of the things a ''civilization'' need to function. Going from building to ships to vehicles, from implants to prosthetic to cyborgs and more. It can also be turned into powder to make drugs and medecine. Mix with some shady product it can quickly become a narcotic. It is actually the rarest allow in the galaxy forcing entire nations to make deep space expedition in order to secure them.
Food: This one is supposed to be the most important, i mean it will make sense to go at war for food because your population is starving, but somehow humans prefer to kill each other some shinny weird looking space diamond that will give them all kind of disease rather than looking for the most basic and important thing, happyness. I don't know, it just doesn't make sense.
Money: The most obvious actually. The other two are categorized as ressources but goold ol moneywill never fail to be humanity premier vice, so in this story too.
Of course there are also various data to take in count in this game like civil unrest,public opinion, tech level and more.
Moving back to the Game, Kalis now understand what going on and what need to be done in order to survive. Everybody else just finish their turn and are waiting for him to make its first decision. Rhea, which is also part of the Yellow faction was also expecting something from him but not too much considering he is not in the best of place. Indeed Kalis Location in the Far south of the Map, the closest faction to him is the Yellow one and they need at least one month (4 turns) to get to him. The second closest is the Blue faction and they need 7 to 8 Turn to get to him. The red faction will need to punch through the other two territory just to get in position, it is not really worth it. But now all eyes are on Cadet kalis.
''So, what will yo do know cadet ?'' ask Queen.
''If you are too scared you can still become a protectorate under my empire''. Propose Mikoyan.
It was not a proposition, this game was the playground for the third year and they were in a race to colonize the maximum amount of planet. The new and green faction was just a too easy target to not be considered. Right now Kalis got no friends, only wolves surrounding him. He look at Aura, maybe she will be willing to help him build his planet, but he know that once he will be powerful enough she will integrate him into her alliance by force. Hari the girl seems cute and kind but Madara the short guy next to her was giving an angry stare at everything inside the room. As for Mikoyan, he look too much trigger happy to be deal with, also the name of his faction have the key word ''empire'' in it. I don't know about you but empire aren't known to be kind and benevolant.
But none of that matter, Kalis is not here to please her, he is here to learn. But for that he need to survive first otherwise he will be dead in no time. So the first decision he made as the leader of his planet was...
''We are going to build a leisure complex.
At this moment everybody in the room understand, this run with Kalis Enyx, will not be like anything they have seen before. They were so shock even even Queen let escape a little ''OH'' of surprise. There are various type of building available depending of your faction tech level, Leisure complex is one of them but they are usually build to reduce civil unrest, which doesn't make sense since he just get started. Nobody really understand what going on, why is he building a leisure complex, this is literally a giant amusement park. I mean most of the time people start with the basic, a space station a mining area or even a farm, but no somehow Kalis Enyx decide he want to build a giant resting place. Queen stay true to her character and keep her composure despite this inexplicable move.
''I fail to understand your motive here. You already don't have a enough land mass, why bothering yourself wth something so useless ?''
''Oh don't worry about that''. He answer casually.
The way he speak to her get on the nerve of every 3rd Year students yet he keep going.
''Starting from turn one, I declare that Mimir Colonial Union (MCU) will not align with anybody and stay neutral.''
His declaration was shocking yet nobody bat an eye as if they were expecting it. No in fact they were just waiting for him to go to the end of that idea.
''I take a look at the data around here, you have been fighting each other fo the last 4 months, there is an epidemy of civil unrest inside all your respective factions''. He announced. ''So i got an idea, I will build 3 complex where all of your citizen can come and relax. Don't worry i will also build space station and trade port so the commerce can kick off once the corridor are properly established. I will ensure the complete safety of your citizens, all you have to is to sign this non-aggression treaty i send to your respective Tablets.''
Each leader look at their Tab, there was really a fully redact treaty like an official one,(Copy & paster from the net) yet the Queen was surprise he manage to make something like that in such short amount of time while the other three were skeptical. Hari and Madara turn to Rhea.
''Do you think we can trust him ?'' asked Madara.
''Trust is a big word with someone as unpredictable as him'' she answered with a smile. ''Yet i think we can go on for this one, he may look sly but he is actually very honest and straight forward''.
The two leaders looked at each other, talked for a while discussing every possibility then turn back to the girl.
''Alright'' Said the boy. ''You will head to his system with a small fleet, 6 ships, establish a corridor to his system, Then we will start discussions about commercial and diplomatic relationship.''
''You accepted rather Quickly that's surprising''. Said Rhea.
The female senior then Answer with a cute face.
''Well It is not that simple, lowering civil unrest is not really our priority but there are other advantages to his bargain''.
They look at the place where the boy was standing on the map. There were many asteroids circling around Mimir planet.
''The metal Rear'' said Rhea.
''We Need that to keep up with Aura fleet production''. Said Madara. ''Also you are the best Navigator in the school so I hope you can shorten our travel road by 2 weeks''.
''Oh, Madara kun is throwing compliment now, it is rare''.
''Shut up''. He yell flustered. ''Anyway if he refuse to comply we can always take everything by force. You are our ambassador for this mission so do as you please''.
Meanwhile, inside the red faction, Mikoyan reunite with all of his classmate, all acting as advisors.
''So what, do any of you plan to go this backward solar system ?''
''Bacwkard with lot of black rock.''
''It will take a really long time to just get there, assuming we find a road that can go through Blue and Yellow territory''.
''We don't need that, we already launch exploration team into deep space to find new planets.''
''We wouldn't have to if we could terraform the dead planet surrounding us. We are far behind everybody else in term of technology''.
'' But we sill got a lot of resources''.
Mikoyan raise his hand, stopping the debate before it burst into useless argument. His presence was commanding enough to keep his friend in line and The emperor seems to have made up his mind.
''Our priority right now is to expand quicker than anybody else in order to an edge in exploration. The exploration fleet will pursue their goal''.
His voic was relaxed yet commanding and all of them agreed with a nod.
''Nico, I have a special mission, and you know what it is''. He said to the girl among his fellow cadet
''Aye Aye sir.'' she accept and make a distorted salute as one her eye glow.
On Queen Side, the mood was different. The girl can't help but show her disappointement.
''So what are we going to do next ?'' Ask one cadet
''I was expecting something from him, but not an amusement park. It is quite the disappointment''.
''So what are we going to do now ?''
She turn down the treaty request and give it to a cadet.
''Send a fleet, I won't accept his term first I need to speak to him''.
'You want to go in person Queen ?''
''Of course no, he will be the one coming to me. But it must be done in dude time, as for the moment send someone to establish the corridor, if anything went wrong we can always invade the place''
''What if he resist ?''
''What could he possibly do ? after all he is....''
