Chapter 534 - LOD Chapter 531: Amon's Invasion

"The Forsaken Land of the Gods!"

Audrey's eyes suddenly brightened, and she couldn't help but recall some of the accounts she had heard from "Sun" Derrick in the Tarot Club. She asked in surprise:

"You can enter the Forsaken Land of the Gods? Is that Moon City a city-state near the City of Silver?"

Guessing what Audrey was thinking, Aaron smiled and shook his head. He quickly exited the Sea of Collective Subconscious and returned directly to La Cha Island before explaining:

"There is indeed a medium in the deepest part of the Abyss that can enter the Forsaken Land of the Gods, but that path is now a dead end. However, sending a separated identity doesn't require such trouble."

"As for Moon City, it should be considered the only remaining civilization in the Forsaken Land of the Gods apart from the City of Silver."

"The two are separated by half of the Forsaken Land of the Gods, but if you wish to go to the City of Silver, the angel who serves me can help you."

Audrey nodded slightly, digesting the information contained within the spiritual radiance, while the Virtual Personas on her consciousness island had already settled their emotions, gathering the spirituality that had dispersed after their advancement.

Nodding to Bornova, who sensed his arrival, Aaron stroked his chin, pondering:

"With the Evernight Goddess's influence on Death's Uniqueness, it might even be possible to save the former chief of the City of Silver at that time. This would make it easier to exchange for the Grade 0 Sealed Artifact formed from Omebella's remains…"

Thanks to the early trade of the Sequence 3 Silver Knight Beyonder Potion formula to the City of Silver, the "Six-Member Council," having a clear direction for advancement, did not rashly open the mausoleum where the former chief slept.

A Miracle Invoker, in conjunction with a Dream Weaver and the Evernight's protection, would be fully capable of reversing the fate of the former chief's loss of control and madness.

After evaluating the feasibility of the action, Aaron nodded silently. The City of Silver was, after all, Klein's base, and achieving subsequent transactions through such a show of goodwill was naturally the optimal solution.

After obtaining Omebella's remains, the hidden arrangements made by the Mother Goddess of Depravity would be traceable, and Aaron even had a chance to follow the clues to find the Corrupted God of Restraint.

Suppressing the thoughts in his mind, Aaron settled Audrey down and did not leave. He merely connected his consciousness to the prayer star symbolizing Bernadette in the Nation of Disorder.

-----------------

Outside Feynapotter City, the capital of the Feynapotter Kingdom.

Bernadette stood within the Mystical Reenactment of the "Peach Blossom Source," gazing into the distance at the continuous golden cathedrals and the Holy Emblem of Life, surrounded by symbols like wheat ears, flowers, and springs, carved into their outer walls.

After the demise of the Mind Dragon in East Chester County, she had come here at Aaron's behest, closely monitoring all movements in Feynapotter City, and also learned of a possible future event—the demise of the Feynapotter Kingdom's founder!

Do not interfere, do not meddle, only record!

Bernadette silently repeated Aaron's request in her mind. Her eyes were somewhat profound but quickly returned to normal.

Being naturally bold, she still resisted her curiosity and gave up on divination.

While the Mythical Creature form of the Information Stream indeed provided Bernadette with the means to escape when facing high-level Beyonders of other Pathways, it was not without cost. Divinations involving high-level powers would inevitably affect her state, making it not worth the gain.

Bernadette, looking into the distance again, suddenly frowned. The Spear of Longinus, stained with dark red blood, instantly appeared in her hand and swept around.

With a tearing sound like a balloon popping, Worms of Time, severed in the middle, fell, turning into faint light and disappearing before touching the ground.

The danger premonition at the Sage level had been deceived!

Bernadette, instantly realizing what had happened, immediately stopped maintaining the Mystical Reenactment and prepared to withdraw first, but everything around her remained unchanged; the peach forest still existed.

Within the brief moment of her thoughts turning, Bernadette noticed Worms of Time with twelve segments emerging from various corners of the peach forest, converging into Amon, wearing a pointed soft hat.

Pinching the monocle on his right eye, Amon's lips curled. He glanced around the vibrant peach forest, then looked at the wary Bernadette and asked with a smile:

"A very good Beyonder ability. I presume you wouldn't mind if I borrowed it to play with for a while?"

Bernadette, who had begun accumulating power the moment she realized the intruder was the infamous Blasphemer, almost instantly disintegrated into a surging Information Stream the moment Amon's words fell, rushing towards the exit of the Peach Blossom Spring, with no intention of confronting him directly to confirm whether this was his true body.

His raised hand paused in mid-air, seemingly hindered by some force. Amon looked up along the medium towards an unknown place. After a moment, he pouted uninterestingly, tacitly allowing Bernadette's departure.

One Amon after another then emerged from the void, discussing in this peach forest of falling blossoms how to efficiently recover the Hand of Order characteristic from Castiya's body.

If one did not consider the content of the discussion and the continuous array of pointed soft hats and monocles, this would surely be a very harmonious scene.

The noisy discussions quickly subsided, and a strange smile appeared on the faces of all the Amons as they looked towards Feynapotter City outside.

Backlund, in a dark, secluded underground passage, Klein, accompanied by two demigod puppets, looked at the pale-faced woman in a black dress sitting against the wall not far away and said:

"Trissy Cheek, after our farewell at Red Rose Manor, it's been a long time since we last met."

His voice, unlike the detached tone of a cold adventurer, changed along with Klein's appearance, transforming into that of the former great detective, Sherlock Moriarty.

Trissy gazed deeply at the somewhat familiar face, her hostility and wariness slightly diminishing. She responded with a charming smile:

"I knew then that you were no ordinary Beyonder, but I never expected you to have advanced to a demigod in such a short time. Hmm, and not just an ordinary demigod, otherwise how could you have found my hiding place?"

"However, Backlund is not a safe place. Let's keep this brief. You went to all this trouble to find me; surely it wasn't to flirt with me, was it?"

Seeing the feigned shyness on Trissy's face, Klein, knowing her original identity, twitched at the corner of his eye and immediately abandoned the idea of probing. With the Faceless's superior control, he explained with an unchanged expression:

"I know you are investigating the Loen Royal Family, and even want revenge on them. I'm here to tell you the truth."

Looking at Trissy, who had abandoned her seductive demeanor and become serious, Klein concisely introduced the hidden connections between George III's intention to advance to Black Emperor and the Great Smog of Backlund incident.

"So that's it… So that's it…"

The low murmur gradually became hysterical. Trissy's black hair rose and spread towards the moss-covered pipes, like venomous snakes poised to devour people.
