(As soon as Ahmed rushed toward his family, all the distances that had separated them for years vanished.)
His father was the first to reach him.
Ahmed embraced him tightly, as if trying to make up, in a single moment, for all the days he had spent away from his homeland and his loved ones. His father patted his back with tenderness, feeling pride for the son who had grown up before his time and shouldered responsibilities beyond his years.
Then, Ahmed turned toward his mother.
(Tears fell from her eyes before she could utter a single word.)
He approached her quickly and leaned down to kiss her head, just as he had always done.
Mother (in a trembling voice): "You have grown so much, Ahmed..."
(Ahmed smiles despite his tears.)
Ahmed: "I missed you so much, Mother."
His mother could not respond. She simply hugged him, as if she feared he would vanish before her eyes once again.
After that, his brothers surrounded him from all sides. Laughter and calls rose all at once. One of his brothers hugged him tightly, another patted his shoulder, and his little sister jumped for joy, calling his name repeatedly.
For moments…
Tokyo no longer existed.
There was no work, no study, and no problems.
There was only… Ahmed and his family.
From behind the door, Misaki, Honoka, and Yoshika were watching the scene in silence. They didn't understand all the Arabic words being spoken... but they understood something more important. They understood the meaning of a person finding their family after a long absence.
Honoka felt something warm inside her heart as she witnessed this family bond. As for Yoshika, she smiled happily watching everyone laughing together. While Misaki looked at Ahmed quietly… and saw on his face a happiness she hadn't seen for a long time.
After long minutes of laughter, tears, and overlapping conversations… Ahmed took a deep breath. He then turned toward the three girls standing near the apartment door. A smile of pride and gratitude spread across his face, and he gestured toward them with his hand.
Ahmed: "There are some very important people I want you all to meet."
(Everyone turns toward Misaki, Honoka, and Yoshika, as the moment where the two families will meet for the first time begins.)
