(Although the whole world was talking about Ahmed and Honoka...)
Life inside the small apartment was not as easy as people thought. There were bills. Food. Clothes. And responsibilities growing by the day.
One night, Ahmed sat alone, looking at the little money he had left. He sighed silently. Then, he looked into the next room, where Misaki was helping Honoka with her studies, while little Yoshika slept, hugging her new doll. Ahmed smiled gently and whispered to himself:
Ahmed:
"I must become stronger for them."
The next day... Ahmed began looking for work. After long hours of searching, he found a job at a small Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. The work was hard and exhausting. His shift started from 7:00 PM until 1:00 AM. Cleaning. Carrying crates. Washing dishes. And serving customers for long hours.
On his first night of work... Ahmed returned to the apartment, utterly exhausted. His eyes were tired, and his hands ached from the labor. But as soon as he opened the door... he was surprised by little Yoshika running toward him at full speed.
Yoshika:
"Ahmed-niisan! We've been waiting for you!"
(Ahmed's footsteps pause for a moment.)
Then, he offers a tired, warm smile. In that moment... he felt that all that exhaustion was worth it.
Misaki approaches him with concern when she sees the signs of fatigue on his face.
Misaki:
"Ahmed… don't push yourself too hard."
But Ahmed shakes his head with a calm smile.
Ahmed:
"As long as you are okay… I am okay."
(Honoka watches him in silence.)
She could clearly see... how much this young man was sacrificing for them without asking for anything in return.
And from that day on... Ahmed began to live between two worlds:
Exhausting work at night… and a small family that needed him during the day.
But despite the fatigue… he never complained.
