Chapter 211 - Harry’s Resentment…

For a child, getting a new toy often comes with a strong urge to share it with others. That little bit of showing off can double, or even multiply, the joy they feel.

However, when this idea is applied to a certain boy named Harry Potter, it becomes meaningless, because right now, Harry was completely confused.

Yesterday's Christmas had been the happiest day of his life. Not only did he receive a relic from his father, but he also felt a warmth of family affection he had never experienced before.

So, the next morning after returning to his dormitory, he excitedly shared this precious joy with his friend. Ron had even been eager to say that he wanted to go with him tonight to see Harry's family photos.

Unfortunately, that plan was destroyed by an owl that flew in that morning, bringing the news of Percy's death. Ron, devastated by his brother's passing, had no energy left to share in Harry's happiness.

Fortunately, there was still Allen. Harry, regarding this half-teacher, half-friend as someone he could rely on, had invited him. After comforting Ron to sleep, he impatiently put on his invisibility cloak and went out in search of Allen to share his joy.

However, before he could enjoy that warmth, Harry took two emotional blows in a row.

As he approached the entrance of Hufflepuff's common room, wearing his cloak, Allen's voice suddenly sounded,

"Harry, is that you over there?"

After a brief silence, Harry searched around for the source of the voice, but found nothing.

"If that's you, Harry, and you don't respond, I'm going to attack," that drifting voice suddenly turned serious, and Harry immediately recognized it, Allen.

So he quickly pushed back the hood of the invisibility cloak and answered fast:

"It's me, Allen, it's me."

Why so fast? Because in Allen's private training, Harry had witnessed countless times how swift and ruthless Allen could be. Even if Allen wouldn't actually hurt him, attacks aimed precisely at weak points always left Harry scrambling. As Allen said, when it comes to combat, he never jokes. It was to train Harry's awareness.

Ignoring the question of whether Allen was just bullying rookies, Harry definitely wasn't going to test if Allen would really attack.

But he still had a tiny plan, so he only revealed his head, hoping to give Allen a sudden scare.

But the one who got scared wasn't Allen, It was him.

Right before him, Allen's figure suddenly emerged, from a distance close enough to strike him instantly.

"Allen… you have an invisibility cloak too?" Harry asked, full of grievance.

So much for this thing being extremely rare and valuable, Ron, you lied to me!!!

"No, just a Disillusionment Charm," Allen casually explained, he obviously couldn't say it came from a certain champion of the Shadow Isles.

"Disillusionment Charm?"

"Mm. A spell that makes people overlook your presence. Very practical."

Harry felt like a herd of llamas just stampeded through his heart.

So much for rare and precious! Why did invisibility suddenly sound so easy in Allen's mouth?!

This was like getting the legendary Dragon-Slaying Sword and preparing to dominate the martial world… only for an ad to pop up,

"Dragon-Slaying Sword! Click to receive! The seductive senior sister is waiting for you!"

This was all Allen's fault. Widowmaker's inheritance was too perfect, making it impossible to tell anything was off. As for the original Disillusionment Charm, it was full of flaws, high mana cost, hard to learn, and extremely easy to expose while moving…

But at this moment, Harry wasn't thinking about that anymore. Instead, he asked curiously:

"Allen, how did you notice me?"

"Oh, that? Your mistakes were too obvious. Your footsteps, the dust you stirred, even the slight breeze when you moved, they all told me exactly where you were. Tracking techniques like that are simple."

Harry understood every word individually. But together? He had no idea WHAT that meant.

"Alright, this isn't something you should be learning just yet. More importantly, what are you doing out here in the middle of the night?" Allen yawned. He noticed Mrs. Norris patrolling nearby, so he casually pulled out a small fish snack and petted the cat.

Sure enough, petting the cat brought instant clarity of mind.

And then he saw Harry staring at him in shock.

"Mrs. Norris? Filch's cat?" Harry whispered, startled. "We need to go! Filch will show up!"

"It's fine. Mrs. Norris is a good cat. Anyway, what are you actually planning to do out here?"

"Oh." Harry nodded blankly, then whispered, "Allen, come with me. I want to show you someone."

Mysterious Harry then led the self-invisibling Allen to an empty room, and stopped outside the door.

"Allen, don't be surprised later… I'm going to introduce you to my parents."

What? Too fast. We just met,

I REFUSE TO MEET YOUR PARENTS

Go find Ron. Or your rival Malfoy. You two have millions of fangirls cheering for your subtle emotional tension. Go to him. Not me!!!

Without explanation, Harry directly opened the door.

A huge mirror stood inside.

It reached all the way to the ceiling, framed with ornate golden decoration, supported by claw-shaped feet at the base.

The moment Allen saw it, memories from the original story hit him.

The Mirror of Erised?

Something like that. Whatever the name…

What mattered was,

If he remembered correctly, the Philosopher's Stone was hidden inside this mirror.

So, Harry, did you transmigrate? Did you cheat? Did you skip ALL the mid-game and just teleport to the final boss room?!

Where's the GM?! I need to report this player, HARRY POTTER IS CHEATING!!!

Wait, Allen froze.

If he recalled right, Snape and Voldemort had already attempted the dungeon during Halloween.

But… the mirror was still here?!

Sweat began to run down Allen's back.
