-------------------------------------------------------------
On an unnamed mountain peak, Bai Xu lived in seclusion, no longer concerning himself with worldly affairs and devoting himself entirely to cultivation.
Once he broke through the first layer of the Divine Prohibition, he would leave and return ten thousand years later to settle his karmic ties with Tang San—or perhaps seek him out personally.
In the small courtyard, Bai Xu sat quietly atop a rocky outcrop, immersed in meditation. Suddenly, his eyes opened as several figures approached from afar—Gu Yuena, Gu Yue, and Na'er.
"Why choose such a remote place to live in seclusion? Are you hiding from us?" Gu Yuena asked, glancing around. The courtyard was simple and tidy, yet brimming with vibrant life energy, likely due to Bai Xu's presence, making it a refreshing and pleasant space.
There were four wooden huts here, clearly prepared long ago for the three women.
"I was waiting for you," Bai Xu replied with a light chuckle.
"Though it seems everything has already been decided, when the Divine Realm returns ten thousand years from now—with even twelve Godkings—Tang San won't spare Douluo Continent," Gu Yue sighed.
"Ten thousand years is a very, very long time. Who can say for certain what will happen in the future?"
Na'er surveyed the surroundings, recalling the time she had lived in seclusion with Bai Xu in the Star Luo Empire. Her cheeks flushed slightly with nostalgia.
"Enough idle talk. Let's begin dual cultivation. After becoming the Dragon God, I'll personally break the curse he left behind and remove the restriction preventing spirit beasts from ascending to godhood," Gu Yuena said impatiently, already pulling Bai Xu toward the hut.
Gu Yue was taken aback, her face instantly turning red. "Wait! Why the rush?"
Na'er was equally startled—Gu Yuena was being far too blunt, completely abandoning any pretense of restraint.
Bai Xu stopped in his tracks and sighed. "While dual cultivation can include what you're thinking of, that's not all there is to it. There's a perfectly proper form of dual cultivation—don't get the wrong idea."
He flicked Gu Yuena's forehead lightly and returned to the meditation rock, gesturing for her to sit opposite him.
Palms pressed together, they assumed the proper posture, with Bai Xu guiding her step by step.
"Activate the Wuzhen manual within you. It should describe the cultivation methods. You take the lead—focus on sensing the Yin-Yang essence within me. That trace of Yin-Yang law will help you grasp the basics quickly."
"Understood."
Following her memories, Gu Yuena seemed to enter Bai Xu's body, wandering through it and sensing the fundamental differences between male and female—this could be explained as Yin and Yang. But what else?
Under divine sense observation, she arrived at a gateway within Bai Xu—a world as vast as Douluo Continent, teeming with life, though not the familiar spirits or humans, but creatures she had never seen before.
Azure dragons, white tigers… beings with human heads and serpent bodies, serpent heads and human bodies… all manner of bizarre forms.
Looking up, she saw the sun and moon hanging in the sky—two great orbs of light and darkness coexisting in the heavens. This, too, could be explained as Yin and Yang.
Yet, within just an hour, she could no longer endure it. Her divine sense was exhausted, her forehead drenched in sweat, her breathing ragged.
"This is incredibly draining," Gu Yuena remarked.
"Cultivation isn't achieved in a single day. Rest for now. Once you comprehend the Yin-Yang law, you'll be able to derive the Golden Dragon's origin power on your own. Right now, I'm just helping you get started." Bai Xu turned to Gu Yue. "Your turn."
"Me?" Gu Yue blinked.
"The Yin-Yang law isn't limited to just the Gold and Silver Dragons—it can nurture all living things. Don't you want to experience it? It might even make you stronger. You haven't yet laid a solid foundation—if you grasp Yin-Yang as your base, your future path could be even greater."
"Alright."
Gu Yue sat down, and Na'er followed suit.
From then on, Bai Xu would set aside time each day to cultivate with the three women before venturing alone into the cosmos. There, he would sit cross-legged amidst the stars, expanding the world within him, accumulating reserves in preparation for his eventual assault on the first layer of the Divine Prohibition.
One month passed, then two…
Three months later, a startled cry from Gu Yuena roused Gu Yue and Na'er from their meditation, drawing them to her hut.
Instantly, their eyes widened in shock. Before them stood a strikingly handsome young man wearing Gu Yuena's clothes, his features nearly identical to hers—except for the absence of feminine traits.
"What happened? How did you turn into this?!" they exclaimed, rushing forward.
"I think I understand a little now…" Gu Yuena murmured. In the next moment, she reverted to her original form.
"Using Yin-Yang to explain male and female? That's quite the interpretation!" Gu Yue teased her main body for grasping such a concept first.
"Look, I can change at will!" Gu Yuena remained engrossed in the transformations, each attempt bringing new sensations.
"Perfectly normal. This is one of the most basic applications of Yin-Yang," Bai Xu's voice came from outside the hut—he had returned from the cosmos.
Hearing this, Gu Yue's expression turned odd. She looked at Bai Xu and asked, "Can you turn into a woman too?"
"I can, but I've never had the inclination to try."
"Do it! I want to see!" Gu Yue pleaded eagerly. Over the past three months, life had been relaxed. The three women would discuss cultivation together, all novices learning from one another. When they hit a wall, they'd turn to Bai Xu for guidance. If they grew restless, they'd return to the Star Dou Forest to check on things. Peaceful days, tranquil years.
"I refuse. This Immortal Lord has never intended to appear in female form," Bai Xu declared firmly.
"Oh! I think I've had an epiphany—I'm going back to cultivate!" Na'er announced, retreating to her room.
"Hmph, I'll go cultivate too," Gu Yue said, a little miffed at being denied Bai Xu's cross-dressing appearance. She stomped off stubbornly.
Bai Xu stared at the male-form Gu Yuena, utterly speechless. "Change back. Now."
"No! I'll stay like this!" Gu Yuena refused to yield.
But in the next instant, a surge of Yin-Yang energy swept over her, forcing her back into her female form. She collapsed onto the bed, her white robes clinging tightly to her curves, leaving little to the imagination.
"Next time you pull this in front of me, I'll punish you right then and there—with them watching," Bai Xu warned, pinning her wrists and looming over her. His frown softened only after glancing at the fullness of her chest.
"Tch." Gu Yuena let out a soft huff, her cheeks flushed. All this time, she had held back out of respect for Bai Xu's cultivation—and because the three women seemed to be guarding against each other, trapped in a strange dynamic. Especially at night.
Bai Xu knew it too. He was genuinely afraid of losing control, of drowning in this gentle embrace and never resurfacing.
The atmosphere grew thick with tension. Their lips drew close, their gazes hazy with desire—
Knock knock.
"Bai Xu, come help me with something." Gu Yue's voice shattered the moment.
With a sigh, Bai Xu pulled away and stepped outside. Gu Yuena shot Gu Yue a displeased glare—this wasn't the first time she'd ruined things.
Living together in such close quarters, with thin wooden walls, everyone knew what was happening even with sound barriers in place.
"Fine. If that's how it is, I'll settle old and new grudges at once."
She had a plan.
---
The next night, Bai Xu still hadn't returned from the stars. Gu Yuena paced the courtyard, hesitating before finally recalling the past offenses Gu Yue and Na'er had committed using her body.
'This is bold… but we can't go on like this forever. The feelings are already out in the open—might as well tear down the last barrier.'
Knock knock.
"Gu Yue, are you asleep?" Gu Yuena called outside the door, her voice laced with feigned confusion.
"Not yet. What is it?" Gu Yue replied softly, opening the door without suspicion—after all, with Bai Xu around, she'd never imagined Gu Yuena would try anything.
But the next instant, ethereal chains lashed out, binding Gu Yue—still in her sleepwear—in a tight embrace.
"What are you doing?!" Gu Yue snarled, struggling.
"Call it… seasoning for our mundane lives," Gu Yuena chuckled, tightening the translucent chains until they perfectly outlined Gu Yue's figure.
"Did you plan this body when you took human form? The proportions are… impressive."
"None of your business!" Gu Yue thrashed, but her strength was no match.
"Na'er! Bai Xu!" she shouted.
"Won't work. I've already set up a barrier."
Trapped, Gu Yue could only glare. "What do you want?"
Gu Yuena smirked, tilting Gu Yue's chin up. "You've forgotten too quickly, little sister. Back when you used my body to sleep with Bai Xu—ignoring my protests in the spiritual sea—you weren't so shy."
Gu Yue's pupils shrank. "You're really holding a grudge?"
"Damn right!"
Hoisting Gu Yue over her shoulder, Gu Yuena carried her to Bai Xu's room. After reinforcing the chains and adding sealing arrays to suppress Gu Yue's powers, she stuffed a gag in her mouth and shoved her under the bed.
Another barrier went up.
Mmph! (Come back here!)
Gu Yue could only watch through the gap as Gu Yuena left. There was no doubt—Na'er was next.
Knock knock.
"Na'er, still awake?"
"Mm! Come in!" Na'er chirped, opening the door with a smile.
"I wanted to discuss something with you," Gu Yuena said sweetly.
"What is it?"
"Follow me."
The two entered Bai Xu's room and sat at the table.
"Is this about Bai Xu?" Na'er asked innocently.
"Yes. I need you to play along with a little act."
"An act?"
Na'er's eyes darted to the squirming figure under the bed—
She bolted for the door.
But like Gu Yue, her cultivation was pitifully weak after only two months of rebuilding. Chains snared her, tossing her onto the bed and pinning her limbs in place.
"Just bear with it tonight, alright? Don't you want to move past this stalemate?" Gu Yuena grinned wickedly.
Before Na'er could protest, a gag silenced her. She was levitated under the bed, lined up beside Gu Yue. Their eyes met, both silently vowing revenge.
But… what was Gu Yuena planning?
They soon found out.
---
At dawn, Bai Xu returned from the cosmos, unaware of the girls' situation.
Lately, his progress had been remarkable. By observing the celestial bodies, he sought to deepen his understanding of Yin-Yang. Tonight, he planned to bid them farewell before secluding himself in the depths of space for an indefinite period.
Seeing their doors closed, he decided to rest first.
But when he entered his room, he found the bedsheets bunched over a slender figure, silver hair fanned across the pillows. Moonlight highlighted her shy expression.
Mmph!
Under the bed, two figures writhed and screamed—but Bai Xu noticed nothing. With no sense of danger and his guard down, he stepped inside.
"Gu Yuena?"
"Hm?"
"Where are Gu Yue and Na'er?"
"Asleep."
"I see. I'll tell them tomorrow. I'll be going into seclusion in the cosmos."
Gu Yuena's eyes widened briefly before she relaxed. "How long?"
"Not sure. Could be a while…"
"Then… before you go, let's not hold back tonight."
Bai Xu sat on the bed. "Alright."
After so long together, certain things came naturally.
Yet something felt off. Normally, Gu Yue or Na'er would interrupt by now. He glanced toward the door, about to extend his divine sense—
Gu Yuena pounced, dragging him under the covers.
"You promised no reservations tonight."
She straddled him, her breath warm against his neck, her hands roaming beneath his robes.
"You're unusually… forward today." Bai Xu caught her wrists.
"Bai Xu… everything's settled. We have ten thousand years ahead of us. I don't know how far you'll go, but cultivation should always come first. Yet tonight, under the moonlight, with you beside me… let's set that aside. Tonight… I want to be on top."
She wanted to pull him down from his lofty, saintly demeanor—to see desire in his eyes, to feel like he was truly here.
And she succeeded. As Bai Xu's gaze darkened, he flipped her over, claiming her lips as his hands found her curves. With a wave, barriers enclosed the room. Tonight, nothing would stop them.
"I said… I wanted to be on top," Gu Yuena protested weakly, her cheeks flushed.
"We have plenty of time…"
Bai Xu's whisper was the last coherent words before the room filled with gasps and moans.
Under the bed, Gu Yue and Na'er seethed. Now they understood Gu Yuena's scheme—their bodies grew hot, their breaths uneven.
'That bitch! She made sure our souls were linked just for this!'
Back when Gu Yue had ignored Gu Yuena's protests and slept with Bai Xu, Gu Yuena had felt everything. Now, she was returning the favor.
Why hasn't Bai Xu noticed? With his divine sense… is he doing this on purpose?!
The creaking bed, the muffled cries—it was torture.
Memories of past intimacy resurfaced, their bodies reacting against their will.
By dawn, they were a mess.
---
The next afternoon, Bai Xu finally rose, surveying the disheveled bed and the exhausted Gu Yuena.
'I've truly fallen…'
Then he noticed her smirk. "What?"
"Consider this… payback." She peered under the bed.
Bai Xu followed her gaze—and his heart nearly stopped.
Gu Yue and Na'er were bound in absurd positions, tear-stained and flushed, glaring daggers at them.
Horrified, Bai Xu dispelled the barriers and freed them.
"GU. YUE. NA!"
They lunged at Gu Yuena, only to be subdued again and pinned to the bed.
Bai Xu watched the three women tussle, a dangerous thought forming.
Step by step, he approached.
Gu Yue panicked. "Bai Xu! What are you— No! All three of us at once is too much!"
Na'er buried her face in the sheets, scarlet to her ears.
"Bai Xu… you can't possibly still be—" Gu Yuena stammered.
But with a flick of his wrist, her powers were sealed.
"Help me cultivate…"
Doors and windows slammed shut.
---
Days later, Bai Xu emerged, the three women trailing behind with mixed expressions.
"I'll be secluding myself in the cosmos. Practice well—I'll test your progress when I return."
They glared but said nothing. Now that the barrier was broken, even casual words carried double meanings.
"Dual cultivation… seems more effective than before. I've gained new insights. Soon, I should be able to manifest the Golden Dragon's origin power," Gu Yuena mused, conjuring tiny lifeforms in her palm.
Gu Yue and Na'er nodded silently.
Absurd as it was, this method was more efficient.
"It's because you're still beginners. My constitution and comprehension far surpass yours. Using the Wuzhen manual in this way lets you borrow my insights. The union of male and female accelerates growth, but your ultimate limits depend on yourselves."
With that, he vanished.
