"what?", did i just heard what the headmaster just said, shouted a boy in the crowd and another exclaimed with excitement and said "now this is what i am looking forward too, i didn't get the chance to duel last year, but i can feel the universe, that, this year i am going to be selected" and he laughed sarcastically in a rhythm.
But, someone in the student body, with no reaction to what the headmaster just said, but he is just watching certain somebody in the pack of students with his hands folded, and headmaster raised his hands and demanded silence and the colosseum fell silent at once, and then he pressed a button on his wrist band, and there came hoovering in the air, a large glass globe, which is completely sealed all round and all the first years wondered how the headmaster is going to take a the slip of paper, where everyone's names written on it.
The glass globe came to a pause in the air, when headmaster clicked a button on his wrist band and he said "when i call the names, please step forward!" and with that, all the student body watching the headmaster very keenly with their eyes wide open, and headmaster placed his right hand on the surface of the glass globe and there came light, it is only surrounded to his hand, and he removed his hand, and every first year watched this great confusion, how did the headmaster took out the slip of paper, when the globe is sealed round?.
Headmaster is now holding the paper slip that contains the name of the student who has to duel with the another, but the only disappointment to the students is that, only one duel is going to take place, and headmaster opened the paper slip and the mic ball is now close to his mouth and he read the name aloud "MICHAEL CAESAR".
When the sound of his name released from headmaster's mouth, Maria gave a shudder of fear, when she heard this name, and this very name, it belonged to the boy, who bullied Maria in front of Nate in the dining hall, and Maria still remembers the days, when she is constantly bullied by him, and taking this chance, all the second year girls too, bullied her in the girls dormitories.
Seeing the expressions on Maria face, Nate slightly placed his hand on her shoulder without looking at her, and he is holding his sword with the other hand very tightly, and the second years are cheering for Michael, and apparently he seems to be a model figure in the second year and he descended from his seat and reached the circular stage and he is now standing right side to headmaster and now all the cheering went down and now everyone are dead silent and waiting for the headmaster to take the other paper slip for the other student to duel and he placed his right hand on the glass globe and light surrounded his hand and he took out the paper slip, but before the headmaster could open it and read the name aloud, all the student body except the first year chanted something very loudly.
The colosseum was shaking in the sound waves of this chanting by all the students except the first years and the chanting sounded like a name and that name is STEVE ROGERS, and every first year is in bewilderment and even Nate too, everyone are shouting this name, and they didn't stopped even when the headmaster raised his hands, and then suddenly a "beat", this beat made all the students to fall dead silent, no first year nor and student up to the third year understood what just happened, the beat is getting louder and louder, and Maria found the source of this omnipotent and mysterious beat and it is coming from the headmaster, but she is not clear on her deduction, because the headmaster didn't lift a finger, and yet something is coming out of his and that is making everyone in dead silence.
At last, after the few minutes of chanting the name Steve Roger, and the headmaster opened the slip and he read the name of the student, who should duel with the second year Caesar, and the name is Nate.
"whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat" exclaimed the entire student body and even the first years too, because when their seniors shouted the name so called STEVE ROGERS, they actually wanted to see this person, but when they heard the name Nate, everyone's hoped dropped to void and then Nate stood in the chaos of the students making and then he made his way to the stage in the center of the colosseum.
And headmaster raised his hand to make the students silent, and now, the student body really fell silent now, because they could not again tolerate the beat that will come out the headmaster, and headmaster pressed a button on his wrist band and the glass globe when away, and the both students are facing each other with the headmaster standing in the center, and he spoke "the duel will now commence" and there is a pause and he spoke again "there should be no harm in the attacks you are going to perform now in this duel to each other's life and the attacks should be, only to disarm you opponent" completed the headmaster.
"Professor Mary will the watching instructor in this duel" and then he lifted his head and lifted his right hand and converted it in to a fist with only his index and middle finger out from the fist and he placed the fingers on his right ear and said "security squad, please be ready" and every student heard this too and they lifter their heads to see what the headmaster had commanded to the men that gliding in the air from the start of the ceremony and then there appeared a blue transparent screen around the edges of the colosseum.
"the entire colosseum is now covered by the blue transparent screen and then headmaster descended from the circular stage and Professor Mary, ascended the stage and she too said only the both students on the stage can hear "only to disarm, students" and they both nodded and then both students distanced himself and then Professor Mary had gone to the end of the stage and then with a ding sound of bell the duel had started and every student is now watching is very excitedly and the first year very more and then Michael said on the stage "remember me, you basterd!" shouted Michael, and Nate didn't respond to that, Maria is watching the duel with concern on her eyes.
Nate opened his eyes, and said under his breath "you are the same" and then Michael, he placed his hand on his belt and he pulled something looked like a gun and said "this is my weapon, the gun of the sun" and he continued "my gun, releases the blast with the hotness of the sun" and he pointed his gun towards Nate with an evil laugh, but the evil laugh faded away after a few seconds and he said "oh, oh, i would not dare to use this on you" he said this like Nate is someone far below him and said "a gun, could just end this duel in a instant and i would certainly not want that and you too right" he asked Nate, but he didn't answered this too and just stood their with his katana to his belt and then Michael pressed a button on the gun and then the gun glowed just like the sun, and no one could not bare to see this, and then, the light went out and the gun turned in to a sword and the blade of the sword was blazing red, it looked like it just came out of a forge that was lit by the cosmic beings.
"this weapon, emits the same of hotness that of a sun, and nothing that is on it's way could stand the hotness this blade holds" shouted Michael with evil completely in his eyes, Nate said nothing nor he took a stance to defend himself but just stood where he is standing from the start of the duel and then, Michael continued to shout what he want to say and he wanted to the whole colosseum to hear what he wants say, "i, am a speed power user, and no one can match my speed in this school, except the senior Rogers" and when he said the name that the students are chanting earlier, he sounded a little scared, and he took a stance like a lion that is about to run towards it's prey and then like a zoom, like a photon of light that is travelling in the space, he leapt towards Nate and on the way he shouted "one thousand degrees, one thousand sun's" and the blade of the sword is now blazing very red and it is releasing the hot air from it, and he jumped from the stage and now he is in the air and then he is now holding the sword with both of his hands and he shifted his sword down on Nate and when he did so, all the hotness that is stored in the sword, now converted in to lightning slash and when it is released from the sword and when it is travelling in the air, the hotness that slash contains, caused many students in the colosseum to feel hot and they are sweating, the slash is about to reach Nate's head and the crowd are shouting to dodge the attack and they are calling his names for just standing their and doing nothing about the attack that is about to touch his head and everyone knew it, that slash is not an attack to disarm to your opponent, and Michael when he release his attack he is feeling very satisfied about it, he thought he is ending this duel with just one attack and the slash reached Nate's head, and to everyone's eyes, the slash touched Nate's head and even Professor Mary, showed concern towards Nate and she wanted to help Nate, and she took a step forward, but then it dawned on her that, she is not supposed to help him, not in a duel of all times, and when the slash touched Nate's head(that is only to everyone's eyes) hot air from that attack was released from it, and the perimeter around Nate was filled with air, and no one could see what happened and every one thought it was over, the hot air evaporated in to thin air and then everyone are on their to see what just happened to Nate after this attack, but to everyone's shock and bewilderment, Nothing happened to Nate and in fact, he just as same as when the duel had started, he is standing in the same position with same stance, just left his hands down freely and not even his hair moved from the debris that the attack of Michael had caused.
"what in the name of Elder?" exclaimed everyone, no one is now sitting on their seats, every one are standing on their feet and they are all shouted about what just happened, "what just happened?" asked a student, "i don't know, i clearly saw the attack reach his head, how is he standing their like nothing just happened?", "who is that, that guy, that is dueling with Michael right now?" questions raised like a tsunami and as did their shock of mind, no one under stood what just happened, and even Professor Mary too, she is also in shock, "how he did that?" said in her breath, and Michael was furious and his degree of shock surpassed that of everyone in the colosseum and he muttered "there is no way, you can just stand their after taking my attack!" and his hands are shaking and his rage is getting to it's fullest and Nate just smiled very slightly on seeing Michael very rageful.
"Alright" he said loudly, "it's alright, it was my mistake to use that attack" and now his tone is very sarcastic and very evil and very loathing "to use" he said "such a small attack on you" and continued "i am sorry, truly sorry for using this small attack on you" and then he shouted "i will not leave this ground until i disarm you" said he, but his intention purely was something evil and bad, his meaning on disarming Nate was not just disarming his weapon from his hands, but slicing his hand off his shoulder and that is what he is projecting in his eyes.
He shifted his sword from his right hand to left and he turned the sword vertically and pushed his left hand forward and he lifted his right hand up and placed it at the brim of he swords handle and then he said "if, thousand degree didn't do it" his eyes widened "then now it will be one million degrees!" he exclaimed and then he swiped his hand from the brim of the handle to the tip of the blade, the speed in this action, since he is a speed power user, the shape of his hand is looking differently, his hand is moving very speed, and then speed of time around everyone and the speed of time around his hand are very different and he shouted "speed created friction and friction created heat and i rule the heat" he exclaimed it to everyone like he is the lord over the heat, to everyone, the speed swipe he just did on his blade was nothing was a move of Michael, but to the time power users, and when they use TIME VISION, they slow down or speed up, what they are seeing and when it seemed to everyone that Michael's right hand was appeared to be dis-shape, she activated the time vision and slowed down the swipe thing that Michael just did and she was very shocked and scared to see what just appeared in the time vision she just saw.
