the day reached afternoon, a large bell chimed in building peter and the professor said to the students to have a nice afternoon with great lunch and he also mentioned about the school's great food arrangements.
throughout the day, Nate had taken three classes with a break of one hour in middle, the first class he took was about building machines from the scratch and also how to repair a broken machine, he learned many new types of machines in the class, the class on it's first focused on the machines they use in the flight systems in the planet, the professor had explained that, the system were very advanced compared to the time when two brothers wanted to fly, rather than teleporting everywhere.
the second period was, (to all students, a nightmare in this world) Math. This was a very crucial subject in the course plan of every student, whatever stream they are in, the student must complete all levels of Math, the school offers.
The time was, 11 Am in the morning, Nate had his first break in the day during the school, he was observing the class because he was the only one now in the class, he sat in the backside of the classroom, by in his defense, the reason he chosen this last seat was, the seats in front row are all filled. Nate stood up from his chair and went near to the window in the class and opened it, a cool breeze touched Nate's face and Nate sighed long in relaxation and cooled his brain with cold breeze from outside because his brain was all heated up with the Math, professor Dan had taught him in the class.
Nate was still in his break time and he is still in the empty classroom and he had 30 minutes left until his break time come to an end, he was just revising what he had learned in his first class, "A way to repair anything", he was using his wrist band for the further research of few topics, Nate actually liked the class and the subject, because Nate had a habit of dismantle every machine he sees and tries to reattach them, like wise he did for his fifty hoover boards, until his mother gave him the final warning of not doing anything to his last board.
Suddenly, a sound trapped in Nate's ears, it was the sliding of the classroom's door that made him come out of his thoughts about what to do with his hoover board, the door was slid open with great force that cause a slight disturbed noise in the classroom, Nate fixated his gaze upon the opened door and he was prepared to leave the room because he thought, the students of the next class were going to come, but to his surprise, it was not the students of the next class.
Nate knew the student who was coming into the class without noticing Nate, who is sitting in the back of the classroom, Nate knew her at one glance that she was the student who Nate helped when she was almost tripped off her way while carrying the huge mountain of books in her hands.
The girl rushed inside the room and reached her desk and started searching something, after a few seconds, she released a sigh that shows her relaxed posture and started going out the room and she slid the door close.
Nate was still focused his gaze at the desk of that girl, he taught 'perhaps she didn't see me in her rush, to get what she lost'. The wrist band chimed a little, the sound was enough to crack the silence that reigned the classroom and the wrist band indicated his next class would be piloting.
Nate has just found his second favorite subject, it was piloting, in this class, he will learn how to operate many kinds heavy moving machines, a jet, a submarine, a vortex slider(this was a new kind of space ship that makes the travelling of vortexes easy, well this was a basic model, not 100 percent safe, but the idea of this ship was actually liked by the school's technical department, so they included it).
Nate was reviewing all his teaching except the math, and he was going toward the main hall for lunch, then he spotted Miss. Mary, she was in a glider travelling with few members of the school, but something made him uncomfortable seeing Miss. Mary, because she was laughing was a member of the school, which clearly specifies that, he was flirting with her, some unthinkable feeling aroused in Nate while looking them, this was because Nate had imagined Miss. Mary to his mother, Nate was never this distanced from his Mother, she always cared for her, and when Nate and the space men had discovered that Nate's power was Darkness, that time was difficult for the both of them, this is because, when a person finds out his power, that power will be immersed into their body, and the fact that Darkness was being immersed in to his body and apart from the all persons who awoke their power when they are old enough to with hold the pain caused by power immersion, but Nate was a early bloomer, he awoken his powers at the age of six, so he had a with hold the darkness that is growing inside him, his mother was his only comfort at that, and he imaged his mother in his mind as a goddess, Nate swore with his life that he would protect his mother even he should defy the world, when there is a problem to her.
So, Nate also imaged Miss. Mary as his mother, she was just like his mother, teaching him, bearing his innocence, so clearly Nate was feeling jealous, but he can't do anything about it, so he resumed his journey to the main hall.
After sometime, he reached the gate of the main hall and entered the hall, where he saw thousands of students having their lunch, and Nate was standing in the line to choose his platter, Nate was know annoyed at the sight of the man who is flirting with Miss. Mary and he decided to eat at least two whole servings of what ever they offer, and his chance came to choose what he want to eat, a fat lady on the other side of the counter greeted Nate with warm welcome, as warm as then food that is being served, the lady introduced herself to Nate because he was freshmen, "hello there student, i am Valarie smith, i am in charge of the food supply in the school, the screen in front of you, here, is how to order the food, and you have many choices to get" said Valarie smith.
Since the line big, the lady said "since, this was your first time having lunch in the school, why don't you take some time to choose from the options of the food from your wrist band" the lady touched the wrist band of Nate and then the band said "integrating the food mechanism.." beep...beep and followed by "initializing the order scheme" beep...beep and "downloaded the food ordering system" beep...beep "you can choose the food you want to eat from the wrist band", Nate was amazed at the mechanism that his band can do and he decided to order his food with great care, so he stepped out of the line to side and then he started browsing the menu of the school.
