Chapter 355 - [TP] 355: Luminous

"Alright, enough with the shock."

"Let's go," Ultima said, cutting to the chase. "My boss wants to see you. If you don't want the vampires wiped out, you'd better come along quietly!"

Ultima was cautious.

She knew her strength was the weakest among the four Primordial Daemons.

The only way to quickly deal with Luminous was to use an Ultimate Skill.

However, given Luminous's talent and potential, there was a chance she could break through to an Ultimate Skill under immense pressure.

If that happened, Ultima would not only fail her mission but also make Luminous wary.

In the worst-case scenario, Luminous could rally all the Demon Lords to confront Damien and Monster Kingdom.

That was the last thing Ultima wanted.

So, even if the odds of Luminous awakening were slim, she wasn't willing to take the risk.

Better to do nothing than to make a mistake.

"Boss?" Luminous latched onto the word. "Some Demon Lord? The Lord of Darkness, Guy Crimson?"

Based on Ultima's words, her boss was the one who named her.

To name a Primordial Daemon, they had to be a True Demon Lord with an immense magicule count, likely in the tens of millions.

After racking her brain, the only one Luminous could think of was Guy Crimson.

No one else could make a Primordial Daemon willingly submit.

This had nothing to do with strength.

It was simply the nature of daemons... they only bowed to higher-ranking daemons of their own kind.

Of course, this didn't apply to Damien.

With his status as a Dragon God of Creation, not only the Black, White, Yellow, and Purple Primordial Daemons but even Guy Crimson would show him due respect.

"Huh, you mean Rogue?" Ultima said. "Nope, my boss has nothing to do with Rogue."

She waved a hand dismissively. "Anyway, I suggest you come with me, or the consequences will be more than you can handle."

"Tch!" Luminous's magicules surged, clearly displeased with Ultima's tone. "Are you threatening me?"

"Even if you've awakened and become a Devil Lord, I'm not afraid!" she declared.

Well, that was a bit of a bluff.

Without her Lord of Lust skill, Luminous couldn't beat the current Ultima.

If a fight broke out, she might escape, but the Holy Empire of Ruberios and the vampires would be finished.

Such a cost was unacceptable to Luminous.

The best outcome was to agree to Ultima's request and meet this mysterious figure.

"Alright, alright," Ultima said. "Just calm down."

"I'm genuinely looking out for you."

Having clashed with Luminous multiple times, Ultima rather enjoyed toying with her.

It would be a pity if such a fun playmate got killed by Damien.

"I obviously can't spill the beans about my boss," Ultima said. "But the rest? Doesn't matter."

"Luminous, you know about Primordial Daemons, right?"

"…" Luminous gave her a look that said, Are you kidding me?

"Ahem, I mean, Primordial Daemons other than me," Ultima clarified. "The Lord of Darkness, Guy Crimson!"

Luminous didn't know much about Primordial Daemons, only about Guy Crimson.

As for the two maids by his side, she hadn't looked into them deeply.

Who could've imagined Primordial Daemons would serve under Guy?

"This time, I'm not the only Primordial Daemon in the material world," Ultima said, dropping a bombshell that left Luminous reeling. "Black, White, Yellow... my lord summoned four Primordial Daemons at once."

"I hate to admit it, but among us, I'm the weakest."

"Yellow's way stronger than me."

"And White and Black? They've got potential to rival Red."

Ultima looked at Luminous, whose face had darkened considerably, and said gravely, "I'm not threatening you. I'm stating a fact."

"If you refuse me this time, the next visit…" Ultima continued, "might just be all four Primordial Daemons coming to personally invite you."

"!!!" Luminous clenched her fists, glaring at Ultima as if she wanted to tear her apart.

Four Primordial Daemons…

Was this for real?

What kind of joke was this?

Monsters on the level of the Lord of Darkness, summoned en masse... and four at once!

What was this "lord" planning?

To destroy the world?!

Fight Primordial Daemons?

Named, incarnated, and awakened Primordial Daemons, no less.

Luminous couldn't even fathom how powerful those monsters could be.

"You're not lying?" she asked.

"Daemons can't jest about other daemons, especially those of equal or higher rank," Ultima replied, knowing Luminous was aware of this.

Her question was merely a way to vent her unease.

There was no doubt.

This was the greatest crisis the Holy Empire and the vampires had faced since the Storm Dragon!

"Fine, I'll go with you," Luminous said.

She had no choice... she didn't dare gamble, nor could she afford to.

"But!" she added, "Before we leave, I need to know who you and the power behind you represent!"

This was critical.

Luminous's stance aligned with the Demon Lord Council.

Their common enemy was the Eastern Empire.

If Ultima's backer was the Emperor of the East, Luminous would rather fight here and now, then urgently convene a Walpurgis.

"Relax, relax," Ultima said with a smile. "I know what you're worried about, but we've got nothing to do with the Eastern Empire."

"As for our faction…" Her eyes turned cold. "We're a neutral force, for now."

"You should know, right? Not long ago, you sent people to attack us."

"???" In an instant, Luminous pieced it together.

Hinata and the Crusader Order had fallen in the Great Jura Forest.

And Ultima, along with the figure behind her, represented the forces of the forest!

In other words…

'I sent Hinata to attack four Primordial Daemons?'

At that moment, Luminous wished she could go back in time and strangle her past self.
