Chapter 145 - Chapter 143: Super Saiyan 6

The universe trembled.

---

Distant Earth

A sudden ripple of energy rolled across the planet, making the air vibrate like a living drum. Even across dimensions, the aura could be felt. Mountains shivered, oceans rippled, and beasts in distant forests froze as instinct screamed at them: a predator had awakened.

"W–what's going on?"

Son Goku froze in mid-spar with Gabe, his cheerful grin vanishing as he turned his head toward the sky. The familiar warmth of battle aura was gone—replaced by a monstrous storm of ki.

"That aura just now… it wasn't Rayden's or Broly's?" Vegeta growled, his sharp eyes narrowing.

Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale trembled. The young Saiyans of Universe Six had felt many terrifying energies, but this one left them shaking to the core. Their bodies refused to obey them, as if bowing to a force higher than nature itself.

"Could it be that Paragus has… broken through?" Gabe stammered, but even he knew it was impossible.

"No…" Vegeta clenched his fists. His pride burned, but even he could not deny the truth. "This pressure—so heavy, so primal… whoever it belongs to has stepped into a realm far beyond Super Saiyan Blue!"

Hit stood in silence, his hands buried deep in his pockets, but his jaw was tight. The assassin who faced death without flinching now looked restless.

"No… I have to check it out myself."

Before another word could be spoken, Goku's hand touched his forehead. Instant Transmission. In a flicker, he vanished.

"Damn it!" Vegeta spat. He shot one last glance at Cabba's team. "Gabe! You lot train on your own for now. Don't slack off!"

And with that, Vegeta disappeared as well.

Heavenly Temple

At the lookout, Son Gohan was laughing as he sparred gently with Goten and Trunks, while Dende watched with a smile. The peaceful moment shattered when the sky itself seemed to groan.

"That power…!" Piccolo's antenna twitched. His sharp Namekian senses had picked it up instantly.

"Dende," Gohan said quickly, his face serious now. "We'll go see what's happening. I'll come play again later."

Dende nodded, though his small hands trembled. Even he could feel the destructive weight of the ki.

In a flash, Gohan, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks pressed two fingers to their foreheads—Instant Transmission. They vanished.

At the edge of the platform, Mr. Popo's expression remained unreadable. But just for a brief moment, his lips curved into the faintest smile, as if he had foreseen this moment long ago.

---

Ice Star

Far away, within the cold metallic halls of Frieza's new palace, alarms shrieked as scouters overloaded.

"King Frieza!" Tagma cried, stumbling forward. "This energy reading—it's off the charts! That's Rayden's ki, isn't it?!"

Frieza's red eyes widened, his tail lashing in frustration. "Impossible! In just a dozen days, his power has skyrocketed again?!"

His pride as Emperor of the Universe stung like a fresh wound. Even after endless training, his progress paled compared to Rayden's monstrous growth.

"Why?!" Frieza's roar shook the chamber. "Why does the gap keep widening?"

He turned to Tagma, fury in his gaze. "Double the training. No—triple it! I refuse to be outdone again!"

"Yes, King Frieza!" Tagma saluted, though his knees trembled.

Supreme Kai's World

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Ripples split the sky as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks appeared beside Cell.

Cell, who had been straining to hold a cracking barrier around the trembling Old Supreme Kai, looked relieved. "Son Goku! You're just in time. Protect this old man before the heavens themselves rip him apart!"

"Got it!" Goku shouted. He and the others spread out instantly.

"Drink!!"

Their voices thundered as they unleashed their ki. Blue auras flared, bursting like volcanoes. One by one, black hair shifted into radiant sapphire, their forms glowing with divine strength. Super Saiyan Blue.

Their energy waves collided with the storm above, shaking the entire realm.

Piccolo roared as his green skin flushed orange, his body swelling with godlike power. Muscles bulged, his height increased, and his crimson eyes blazed like twin suns. The legendary Orange Piccolo had emerged.

Together, they conjured protective barriers, shimmering domes of light around the Old Supreme Kai and his attendants.

But the sky grew darker. The storm above the Supreme Kai's World raged.

Thunder split the heavens, bolts the size of mountains crashing down. The world of the gods trembled.

"It can't be…" Vegeta snarled, sweat running down his face. "I—I won't accept it! I should have been the third to achieve Super Saiyan 5, not him! And now… this!"

Still, he reinforced his shield, refusing to falter.

The power of Rayden and Broly soared higher and higher, each pulse of energy crushing the very land beneath them. The once-serene world twisted into chaos: skies torn by lightning, forests ripped apart, oceans boiling into vapor.

"My lord, the Supreme Kai's world is finished!" Shin wailed, his eyes brimming with despair.

"Idiot!" The Old Supreme Kai smacked him on the head. "You're a god of creation! What do you think your role is for?!"

Shin blinked, flustered. "R–right… I was so panicked, I forgot I could repair it…"

Meanwhile, even Goku's and Vegeta's barriers cracked, forcing them to pour more energy into defense.

Piccolo scowled. "We can't keep this up! If this lightning hits us, we'll survive—but the Old Kai and his attendants will be killed instantly. We should retreat to Earth until Rayden and Broly finish their breakthrough!"

"Grandpa," Shin pleaded, "Piccolo is right. Let's take cover first!"

"Go if you must!" the Old Kai snapped, his eyes blazing. "This kind of event happens once in countless eons! I'll witness it till the end, even if it kills me!"

Even as his frail body trembled, he refused to look away.

Cell grimaced but stepped closer, shielding him with his own form. "Old man, you're reckless. But I'll protect you regardless."

"You're rude," the Old Kai muttered, though his feet unconsciously edged closer to Cell.

The Transformation

The storm reached its peak. Bolts of heavenly judgment fell like spears, hammering down upon the two Saiyans at the center.

Rayden's teeth clenched. His body screamed with pain as the lightning seared him. This… this isn't just training. This is a trial by the cosmos itself.

"Ahhhhhh!" His roar split the heavens. His aura flared, then—suddenly—it vanished.

Gasps erupted.

Rayden's Super Saiyan 5 form dissolved, his hair shrinking back, his body reverting to normal. For a heartbeat, he looked fragile.

Then—

BOOM!

A new wave of power exploded outward. His black hair lengthened again, spilling wildly over his shoulders. Thick black fur spread across his chest and arms. A long, whip-like tail unfurled behind him.

And his eyes—those eyes—turned a deep, endless black. Not the golden fire of Super Saiyan, not the divine glow of Blue, but abyssal pupils that made even gods tremble.

"Super… Saiyan…" Goku whispered, awe freezing his tongue.

"…Six." Vegeta finished, voice hollow.

Rayden's expression was calm, regal, almost predatory. His muscles were balanced, not grotesque, his frame symmetrical and perfect. This was evolution incarnate.

When his gaze fell upon Goku and Vegeta, their breaths caught. Fear, primal and undeniable, wrapped around their hearts.

Even the Old Supreme Kai and Shin collapsed to their knees, sweat pouring from them like rivers. Their divine souls quaked before the sight.

Rayden clenched his fist, the air itself cracking.

"Ahhh!" Broly roared, unwilling to fall behind. His aura surged violently, shaking the dimension. Thunder descended once more, hammering him mercilessly.

Rayden's figure blurred—Swish! He appeared before Goku's group in an instant, raising his palm casually. With a single wave, he redirected the falling lightning, scattering it harmlessly into space.

Everyone gaped in silence.

"This… this is impossible," Trunks whispered, his young eyes wide.

"Too strong…" Gohan muttered.

Minutes later, Broly's defiance bore fruit. With a final roar that shook the heavens, he too erupted into Super Saiyan 6. His form mirrored Rayden's, but his aura was savage, wild, and uncontrolled—a storm barely chained.

At once, the thunder faded. The dark clouds dissolved. The Supreme Kai's World, though scarred, was silent again.

"Bang!"

Broly crashed to the ground beside Rayden, his chest heaving. The two warriors stood together, embodiments of chaos and destiny.

"Uncle Rayden and Uncle Broly are amazing!" Goten squealed.

"Yeah! Super cool!" Trunks cheered.

Rayden looked at the devastated realm, guilt flickering in his dark eyes. He turned toward the Old Supreme Kai. "I'm… sorry. I destroyed so much."

But the Old Kai only chuckled, forcing himself to stand. "Foolish boy… it is a blessing. To witness mortals surpass even the Gods of Destruction within my lifetime—ha! This is history itself."

Rayden threw back his head and laughed, his voice echoing through the battered world.

And thus, the legend of Super Saiyan 6 had begun.
