Chapter 117 - Chapter 117: The Krieg Pirates

Seafaring Restaurant, Baratie

Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere suddenly became tense. Ace had just propped himself up, flames already appearing on his fingertips, while Luffy was already preparing to launch himself—

"I'll take them!"

"No, I'm going first!"

However, just as the two were about to rush out—Roy just gently turned his head and gave them a meaningful look. The two of them paused. Although their faces were full of confusion, they subconsciously stopped and sat back down.

"Big Brother Roy?" Luffy tilted his head, a piece of meat still in his mouth, and asked with confusion, "Aren't we going to fight them?"

Roy gently shook his head, his eyes deep, his tone calm. "No rush. Let's watch first."

Outside the Baratie, on the deck

The wind howled, and over thirty pirate ships surrounded the entire seafaring restaurant. (At this time, it hadn't yet grown to 50 ships~) The black flags on the masts fluttered, and a row of cannons turned, locking onto the main entrance of the Baratie.

In the center of the flagship, a man in golden armor and a feathered helmet stood at the bow, laughing wildly. "ZEFF!! Get out here!!"

"If you know what's good for you, hand over the seafaring restaurant obediently!" he raised his metal spear and roared. "Otherwise—I, KRIEG, will blow this broken ship to pieces today!!!"

The restaurant was in chaos. The guests screamed and hid under the tables, and the chefs also gripped their kitchen knives, but no one dared to go forward. The air was filled with an oppressive atmosphere.

Just then—

"BANG!!!"

The restaurant door was violently kicked open. Sanji, in his chef's uniform, his blond hair messy, a vein throbbing on his forehead, strode out, his face full of anger. "You damn pirates... get out of these waters immediately!"

"You're scaring our guests!"

Krieg was taken aback for a moment, then his face twisted, and he jumped up and down in a rage. "Where did this brat come from?! You dare to talk to me like that?!" He suddenly raised his metal spear, its muzzle aimed at Sanji, his finger on the trigger.

In the nick of time—

"Swish!"

A shadow flashed out from behind him and pressed down on the barrel of the gun. It was the taciturn and murderous fleet commander of the pirate crew—"Demon Man" Gin.

"Chief!" Gin said in a low voice, his tone as sharp as ice. "Let me teach him a lesson."

Krieg snorted coldly, his eyes cold. "Hmph, don't keep me waiting too long."

Gin nodded, then his figure leaped up, like a hawk striking, and landed on the deck of the Baratie, his movements so light they were silent.

Sanji narrowed his eyes, his expression turning grave. "...This guy is not simple."

After landing, Gin stood like a statue, his hands slowly getting into a fighting stance, his voice low. "Kid, if you leave now, you still have time."

Sanji sneered, and with a turn of his foot, his right leg suddenly swept out. "Collier!" The leg was like a blade, heading straight for Gin's head—but it was easily blocked by an arm as hard as steel.

"Smack!"

The two clashed, and the air trembled. Sanji's pupils constricted. Just as he was about to pull back, Gin had already taken a step forward and kicked out. "Demon Kick: Bone Crusher!"

"BANG—!"

The heavy blow hit Sanji in the abdomen. He let out a muffled grunt and staggered back several meters, his feet stomping the deck hard to stop his retreat. "Such a heavy force. This guy's lower body... has almost no openings."

Sanji wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and charged forward again.

"Épaule!"

"Côtelette!"

"Selle!"

A series of spinning kicks from different angles, like a storm, a dense net of leg shadows. However, Gin seemed to have already seen through all his movements. Every attack was either dodged or blocked. The next instant—

"Demon Kick: Tendon Sever!"

"CRACK!"

Gin's spinning heavy kick fiercely swept Sanji's knee. "Ugh—!" Sanji fell to one knee, cold sweat instantly breaking out, his ankle trembling slightly, making it almost impossible to get up.

Gin stood in front of him, his expression cold. "Give up. You're no match for me."

Inside the restaurant, Ace and Luffy witnessed the whole process through the window. "That curly-brow... is about to lose," Luffy said with his mouth open, a look of disbelief on his face.

Ace also frowned. "That guy... his speed, strength, and adaptability are all suppressing Sanji."

Roy leaned against the window, his gaze calm yet sharp, a slight smile on his lips. " 'Demon Man' Gin... a lot of people in my past life had a pretty high opinion of him."

Just then—

"THUD—!"

The restaurant door was pushed open again with a "thud," heavy and powerful. Zeff, leaning on his peg leg, walked out slowly, his face cold, his gaze as sharp as a blade as it locked onto Gin. "That's enough." His voice was not loud, but it carried an undeniable authority.

Gin turned his head, a flicker of something in his eyes.

Zeff walked to Sanji's side, looked down at him, his tone cold. "What's the big deal about bullying a little kid?"

Gin was silent for a moment, his brow furrowed, then he slowly took two steps back and did not attack again.

On the flagship in the distance, Krieg, seeing this, laughed wildly. "Zeff! You finally decided to come out."

"What? Are you willing to hand over this restaurant now?!"

Zeff, leaning on his peg leg, his face unchanged, sneered back, "In your dreams."

Hearing this, Krieg's face changed drastically. In a rage, he suddenly drew his pistol from his waist, its muzzle aimed straight at Zeff. "A mere crippled old man dares to defy me?!" he roared savagely. "You old bastard! You're courting death!!!"

"BANG—!!!"

A gunshot rang out. The bullet cut through the air, heading straight for Zeff's chest.

"OLD GEEZER!!!" Sanji, gritting his teeth against the intense pain in his knee, suddenly leaped up and tackled Zeff to the ground. "Swoosh—!" The bullet grazed Zeff's clothes and embedded itself in the deck with a "bang," creating a shower of sparks.

Sanji lay on top of Zeff, his face pale, but he gritted his teeth and looked up, the anger in his eyes almost tangible. "Krieg... you bastard!!!"

Krieg, having missed his shot and being glared at by a little kid, was so angry he jumped up and down. "You damn kid! You dare to glare at me?!" He suddenly waved his hand and roared, "Fire the cannons!! Blow this broken restaurant to bits!!!"

"Yes, Chief!"

The thirty pirate ships all turned their cannons at the same time, their black muzzles all aimed at the Baratie. The air seemed to freeze. "Oh no... if so many cannons fire at once, the restaurant won't be able to take it." Zeff's face changed drastically. Sanji also gritted his teeth, cold sweat dripping down his forehead.

In the nick of time—

"—Are you done messing around?" a calm yet oppressive voice came from inside the restaurant. Krieg was taken aback for a moment and looked in the direction of the voice. The restaurant door was pushed open again, and three figures walked out side-by-side.

At the front was Roy, in his fluttering cape, his gaze indifferent and cold. Behind him, Ace and Luffy stood on either side, their eyes burning with a fiery fighting spirit.

Krieg narrowed his eyes and then sneered, "A mere Marine, with two wet-behind-the-ears brats?" He threw his head back and laughed arrogantly. "I've killed more Marines than you've ever seen!!!"

Roy ignored him and just turned his head slightly, his tone calm as he said to the two of them, "Go on."

"BOOM—!!!"

Ace suddenly turned into a scorching flame and shot into the air, his two fists burning. "FIRE FIST—!!!"

A giant fist of fire, like a falling meteor, instantly smashed into Krieg's main ship.

"BOOM!!!"

The explosion was deafening. The bow of the main ship was shattered in the flames, and a sea of fire engulfed the entire deck. Countless pirates screamed as they jumped into the sea to escape. Krieg was sent flying into the air, his eyes wide with terror. "Wh-What?!!"

Gin also looked back, his pupils constricting violently. "A flame attack...?!"

However, before he could react—

"IRON FIST: CANNON!!!"

Luffy arrived in an instant. With a roar, he gathered his strength in his arms, his two fists like two cannons firing at once.

"BANG!!!"

The blow hit Gin in the chest. His entire body was sent flying by the strong impact, crashing through the ship's rail and smashing hard into the deck, sending wood splinters flying. He lay on the ground, coughing up a large mouthful of blood, and struggled to look up, his expression horrified. "This little kid... how can his punches hurt so much?!!"
