Chapter 23 - Special

In the vast emptiness of the void, they were still clashing their bows. The mysterious figure grabbed Kyle's hand and threw him into another distant world, then teleported into that world as well. Kyle looked at him with an excited expression. This was his new fight, someone who could finally keep up with him.

The mysterious figure began to multiply, creating countless copies of himself, and they all started launching their fists at Kyle. Kyle blocked every punch and counterattacked, but no matter how much he held them back, the punches never stopped. Each clone was equal to the original, with the same power and presence. Kyle started to feel irritated and fell back, spreading his wings. He opened his mouth, and within it, a pure blaze began to form.

He unleashed his fire toward them. The copies began to disintegrate, turning to dust. It wasn't just the figures that vanished but the impact rippled through the very fabric of the world. The sound of paper burning echoed, and the pure fire's power threatened to annihilate the universe itself. This power was none other than the Flames of Piercing. These flames did not merely burn objects; they ignored all obstacles and consumed the very essence of soul and body from infinite verse. In simple terms the flame make things flammable even it can't be burned.

Kyle trembled in fear as he witnessed the destruction he had caused this time. I don't think I'll get away this time against the Elder. He had not only destroyed one world, but also destroyed countless outside world. The balance of creation and destruction had been disrupted only destruction remained. Oh no… now I won't be able to help my little sister, Ero. What if something like this happens to her again, and I can't save her? Should I just kill the Elder… no,

that's impossible. This is all that guy's fault.

He glazed his eyes over the void. I think the Elder has noticed too… that I used a prohibited move of absolutedestruction. Should I just run? I mean, that flame was just… normal, wasn't it? Shit… I'm doomed now.

From the hidden depths of the world, a terrifying being sat, watching Kyle's fight. The Elder clenched his hand, observing the destruction Kyle had caused this time. The other heads trembled in fear at the Elder's behavior; all of them knew Kyle's fate.

The Elder spoke in an angry tone, glaring at the other heads. "Who sent that troublemaker this time? I don't recall giving anyone permission. You all already know his past level of destruction, and now to reach this extent, who dares to send him?"

The heads trembled at the Elder's voice. His aura was terrifying, and no one dared speak a word. These heads were all powerful, having slain countless primordials, but the Elder existed on an entirely different level.

"Why are you all staying quiet? Don't you have the guts to act after the Great War? Fine… I'll go myself and teach that bastard a lesson."

The Elder disappeared from the spot. The heads, panic written across their faces, finally felt a sense of relief once he was gone.

One of them spoke, trembling, "They're both insane… That guy Kyle is an actual beast. I remember that breath, it wiped out a great primordial across multiple verses. How can we even stop someone whose power makes no sense? He acts on his own; we don't dare command him. He does whatever he wants."

The other head said, "Speak less. If the Elder finds out we were talking behind his back, we'll be in trouble. Nothing good will come from badmouthing him. The Elder maintains balance, but that guy Kyle brings nothing but destruction."

At that moment, Kyle sneezed and suddenly remembered his own name. I guess I'm just too handsome and too good, no wonder people keep praising me. Haha, praise me, you fools! I am the almighty dragon!

"All hail mighty Kyle! He who turns everything into nothing, he who wipes out evil primordials with ease! One breath of his can even kill absolute beings!"

The sound of praise echoed around him. Kyle, brimming with pride, let out a longer, louder noise. Haha! I know I'm too strong. I've been humble until now… if I wanted, I could even defeat the Elder!

Then he realized it wasn't his own thought, the praise had come from the mysterious figure.

The mysterious figure spoke in a silly tone, "Is it so bad to be praised by me? Everything's going well so far."

Kyle was stunned, thinking, How did he survive that move? Is his body not real… or does he not have a soul? That was impossible, every being has a inner soul.

The mysterious figure clapped his hands. "It's not that I'm an illusion or fake. I just… don't have any of the things you're talking about."

A sudden fire breath shot toward the mysterious figure, but he effortlessly deflected it, sending it hurtling into another world.

"Mysterious guy… that was cheap, wasn't it? Oh, and someone's coming here. Look behind you."

Kyle, trembling in fear, turned his head — only to be slapped from nowhere, his head spinning. He spoke in a soft, uneasy tone. "Elder, I know I made a mistake, but is it really necessary to embarrass me in front of my opponent?"

He glanced at the Elder's face. It was blackened, and Kyle couldn't help but laugh. "Haha! Why did you put black makeup on your face? Is this some kind of beauty standard nowadays?"

The Elder clenched Kyle's shirt and shook him violently. "You bastard! You think this black dust is a beauty standard? Why don't you try some yourself!"

The Elder opened his mouth and unleashed the same flame at Kyle, blackening his face as well. Elder voice dripped with anger. "While I was coming here to lecture you, I got hit by your draconic flame. Is this some kind of joke?"

Kyle exhaled smoke from his face and apologized to the Elder.

The Elder, wearing a white cape, kept their face hidden. Their gaze shifted to the mysterious figure, and a smile spread across their face as their eyes followed him.
