Cherry was stunned as she looked at the man in disbelief. "I-You..."
Cherry couldn't finish what to say. When she thought about what happened last night. That was true, he said nothing about helping her. She was the only one who assumed that was what he meant after something happened to the two of them.
Embarrassed, Cherry simply let go of his hold on her arm. She turned her back on the man and walked out without saying a word.
She would lower herself too much if she begged him again. Besides, she felt like she had run out of steam because of what she had done last night.
