I could see the tailed beast surveying the half-destroyed Tsuchikage Tower.
"I didn't know the rock had perfect jinchuriki," Dan remarked, glancing sideways at the beast.
"It doesn't," I replied. Classy beasts must hate Wood Release to agree to cooperate with its hunter in combat. The million-dollar question: what was Hashirama doing right now that he hadn't stopped the beast? Honestly, I had no idea.
"So, what are you going to do?" my father asked curiously.
"I already have everything I want, but while I neutralize the beast, you can see if you can find anything else of value," I replied as I jumped out of the tower.
"Since when am I your boss?" he questioned, sounding a little resentful and tired of hearing my words; he must have been stuck in the time when I was still a child and only paid him a little attention.
The tailed beast's eyes turned red when it saw me.
"You, descendant of..." she began, but I interrupted her.
"Let's leave the small talk for later; you came to fight, and I came to prove I'm no match for any tailed beast, so why don't we get started?" I said without a shred of tact.
"Insolent human," the five-tailed beast accused, launching itself at me at full speed. I simply used Shunshin to dodge.
The impact caused the tower to be practically destroyed.
"Oh, it's a good thing I already had all the important documents stored away," I said to myself, looking at the scrolls I had tucked into my clothing.
The beast looked at me, only to open its mouth and unleash a torrent of terror in all directions.
I simply performed two hand seals.
"Ice Release: Ice World," I said, causing the temperature to plummet even further. If there were any survivors in the tower, they would surely freeze to death.
The steam in the tower began to condense into water, drastically lowering the temperature.
"Let's finish this. I want to take advantage of this opportunity to use this jutsu, and besides, I want to get out of here." The truth was, the temperature was affecting me a bit too, despite the steam's help. The water around my body was also turning to ice, something that was happening to the tailed beast as well.
The Five-Tails was about to open its mouth, but the moment it saw my transformation, it immediately closed it, only to reopen it and begin forming a Tailed Beast Ball, but it was too late.
"Sage Art Jutsu: Gate of the Great God," I said, using my senjutsu chakra to complement the technique.
Before he could complete the Tailed Beast Ball, the Five-Tails, six torii gates fell upon him—five on each tail and one on his neck—stopping all his movement in its tracks.
Seeing the tailed beast completely under control, I could only laugh as I approached.
"Damn you, I curse you and all your blood," the beast said angrily.
"There aren't many to curse, really," I replied, forming a seal. "Wood Release: Wood Impalement."
With that, several wooden spikes pierced the beast's body in different places, causing it to begin disintegrating, leaving behind a weary and malnourished Han.
"You're not even, ugh, human," the dying man said, kneeling and looking down at me.
"Just as human as you," I replied, and with a swift movement, I snapped her neck, causing her eyes to open and her body to collapse to the ground, dead.
I simply stared at the corpse, saying nothing to the man who thought he could stand up to me simply because he possessed a power that wasn't even his.
"Don't you think you went too far?" Dan said, still in the body of a civilian but completely frozen, with several parts of his body destroyed by ice.
"He'd been seeking death for a while; otherwise, he wouldn't have tried to extract information from me to later tell old man Onoki. " To be honest, I didn't care about the information leak; that data would fall into the enemy's hands with Danzo's help sooner or later. The reason I killed him was for trying to confront me in his current state; clearly, there were two possible reasons. He was seeking death, or he underestimated me.
But I've already killed him, so it doesn't matter.
"Well, that's all; this will be a temporary goodbye," I said, looking at Dan.
"Do you plan to summon us again?" he asked doubtfully.
"Only if necessary," I replied, packing my things and leaving.
As for telling those three the details, that will have to wait for another time. It was better that Hashirama didn't know anything. I don't think Mito cares, and Tobirama probably already knows.
With all that said, and taking advantage of the village's chaos, I escaped with the best loot in the world, weakening the enemy in the process.
...
Once I was far enough away, I deactivated the Edo Tensei and returned to base.
When I arrived, everything seemed fine, until they asked me what had happened.
I gave a simple explanation, but it didn't matter, since the scale of the disaster revealed everything I had done in great detail, enraging Shikaku.
After hearing the commander lose his temper for once in my life—something I may never see again—I returned to my camp to get to work, since the Dust Release technique isn't something you learn on its own.
The scroll says that the Dust Release is an advanced elemental control jutsu, one that combines fire, earth, and wind.
The earth decomposes, the wind separates, and the fire disintegrates, all almost simultaneously in a specific area designated by the user; this area changes depending on their control of the technique.
It's a jutsu capable of destroying a defense as strong as Susanoo, but it won't be easy.
My level in wind ninjutsu is truly pathetic; my control of the element is practically nonexistent, with only two ninjutsu techniques: one being wind-based destruction and the fire-based combination ninjutsu I invented with Kosuke; the latter probably doesn't even count.
But unfortunately, I couldn't progress much, as I received a message from the Hokage requesting my immediate return.
...
"I can imagine what was going through your mind when you did that; you know the problems we could have caused. The idea is to end the war as soon as possible, not prolong it," the old monkey scolded me, his three advisors at his side.
"This could be seen as a form of rebellion or even treason," Homura said.
"Yes, you may be strong and come from a great clan, but that doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want," Koharu said.
Danzo said nothing, just stood there meditating, saying nothing, which caught Hiruzen's attention. He glanced at his boyfriend—I mean, former rival—before his eyes shifted to me.
Meanwhile, I was looking at my nails, thinking, "I'll get them done after this meeting, since I'm in Konoha."
"Are they going to call me a rebel or a traitor?" he asked curiously.
This put the three of them on alert.
"No, but…" Homura said. "I didn't bring several documents that would help counter Iwa, along with weakening his forces," I asked.
"Yes, but…" Koharu began.
"So, what do you want me to do? Kneel down and lick your feet and give yourself a large sum of money? Oh, you'll be happy then, won't you? But if you force me to do that, I'll leave immediately and become a fugitive ninja. Tell me, do you have any ninja who could stop me or hunt me down, to be completely honest?" That shut them both up instantly.
The old monkey just glared at me. The truth is, the only one who would be able to follow me would be Minato, but that's it, since I don't see him defeating me, no matter how much Thunder God Jutsu and Rasengan he uses.
"There's no need to go to such extremes; I'm just asking you what your reason was for doing this," I returned to his original question.
I just sighed.
"You all think everyone has to resort to the same mistreatment you do; in reality, the war could be stopped by achieving a complete victory, something you're afraid of for some reason," I said as I walked to stand before the Hokage and placed a document on the table.
(Note: This is the same place where Itachi spoke with the four of them in his flashback; incidentally, Hashirama didn't stop the jinchuriki because he was fighting Onoki.)
The old monkey looked at the document, his eyes widening as he stared at the mummy. He did nothing, just stood there, motionless.
Right now, he must be doing something very important at his base so he doesn't risk me being expelled or forced to destroy it.
Because I know that if I end up being a rogue ninja, I'm going to wreck his bases, along with his men, and possibly him too.
He's most likely using Hashirama's cell system for himself, since his hand has been sealed ever since I turned eight.
I have no idea what happened to him; I never cared what was going on with that brainless old fool.
Hiruzen could only sigh at this.
"Good, you'll be granted a pardon for your great contribution, bringing back vital documents and weakening the enemy by taking down one of their tailed beasts," I said, tucking the document into his clothing. "But that doesn't absolve you of your responsibilities; I'll give you about 20 days of rest in the village; after that, I'll see where I assign you."
"Understood. If that's all, I'll be going."
Cowards, all four of them, especially Koharu and Homura; I'll see if I can get rid of them when Minato becomes Hokage.
...
In the end, I didn't get the full 20 days of rest; it ended up being 15, but given the emergency, it made sense.
The good thing is that during these 15 days, I was able to make significant progress in my control of the wind element. I also tried to improve my fire element, which was decent, but not at the level I have with water and earth.
The reason I have to return to the battlefield is that one of the division leaders—specifically, the intelligence division leader—had been kidnapped.
The best-case scenario was that he would be killed, but Kumo ended up kidnapping him instead. The worst-case scenario, on top of everything else, involves the head of intelligence for the unit and others, since these guys were connected to the village's information. So, if anyone knew about routes, ninjas, or the situation in the village, it was the intelligence division leader.
I don't know what Orochimaru was doing to deserve this, but it was a serious blow to his ego and his Hokage candidacy.
Faced with this critical situation, I and a special group were tasked with recapturing the head of Orochimaru's division, and if that wasn't possible, with killing him and destroying his body in the process.
I was standing at the village entrance waiting for my comrades, but I was alone, with no ninja around.
I'd already been waiting for two hours and was feeling annoyed. So the gatekeeper approached me.
"Hey, do you know who else was supposed to come here with me?" I asked, irritated.
"Uh, Miss Miyu, good morning," the man said, bowing slightly, but seeing my less-than-friendly expression, he seemed flustered. "Well... I... from what I heard... it was Jiraiya-sama who was meeting with you."
So, Jiraiya, huh?
Without wasting any time, I headed to the hot springs, but to my surprise, they weren't there.
Not knowing what to do, I started thinking about what the perverted sage would do, only to remember another possible location.
After walking through the forest, I came to a river where several women were bathing in bikinis; some were even topless, playing in the water.
Looking at the bushes from afar, I could see Jiraiya, practically between life and death, with blood pouring from his nose.
I just stared at him with disgust. I didn't like these perverts who only liked to watch; they're, in my opinion, the ones with the weirdest fetishes. Maybe he even liked the idea of Dan being with Tsunade; he was having those fantasies that losers have about their wives cheating on them.
"I'll just leave him half-dead, then heal him, and then leave him half-dead again, just for standing me up at the Hokage's door," I told myself as I thought about what ninja art I could use to make the closet pervert suffer.
