Chapter 550 - Chapter 550

If one had to be specific, the difference lay mostly in emphasis.

Some Gold Saints did not focus on cultivating these psychic powers, while others were naturally especially gifted in them.

For example, the people of Jamil were unmatched in their use of psychic powers, especially telekinesis and spatial abilities.

Even Milo's Scarlet Needle Telekinetic Wave was an application of telekinesis.

"Good thing I already unlocked the Aries Gold Cloth before this. Otherwise, just dealing with all these random psychic powers would've been enough to give me a huge headache."

Marco took a deep breath and truly opened his eyes, unable to stop himself from sighing in amazement.

He really hadn't expected to unlock so many psychic powers all at once...

Logically speaking, these were all abilities that should have required long-term cultivation—gradually increasing one's Cosmo, then slowly learning them over time.

Who the hell just awakened and instantly mastered a whole pile of psychic powers in one go?

"It's probably because I've already unlocked so many Cloths and so many skills. Before, it was only because of my body that I couldn't awaken a true Cosmo. Now that it's erupted all at once, I skipped right past the earliest stage."

Marco rolled his shoulders a bit, guessing at the reason behind his condition.

But in truth, the reason didn't really matter. Being able to instantly master so many psychic powers was a good thing no matter what.

From now on, when doing many things, he wouldn't even need to switch into the Aries Gold Cloth anymore. He already possessed psychic powers himself.

Bzz!

With a thought, Marco's body vanished instantly and reappeared thirty meters away.

He frowned.

There was no helping it. After getting used to the various psychic powers granted by the Aries Gold Cloth, switching to using his own powers naturally created a sense of disappointment.

After all, he was still only a Sixth Sense Saint trainee, a beginner who had just stepped through the door.

Although the psychic powers of the Aries Gold Cloth, when driven by magic power, weren't truly at the level of genuine Gold-tier psychic abilities, they were still far better than what he himself could currently produce.

Of course, awakening a Sixth Sense Cosmo did not only bring Marco this long list of psychic powers.

The enhancement to his body itself could only be described as monstrous.

Calling his body truly invulnerable to swords and spears might still be a bit exaggerated, but it was already no longer something that just any random person could break through.

And as his Cosmo continued to grow, truly reaching the point where his body became impervious—where nothing short of atomic-level destruction could injure him—was only a matter of time.

That was completely normal.

As long as a Saint could still use the power of Cosmo, ordinary things simply could not harm them.

If you did not possess attack power on the atomic level, then you could not injure a Saint's body.

And the greatest role of a Cloth was precisely to help a Saint defend against attacks that reached that atomic level.

"Then... if I use my newly awakened Sixth Sense Cosmo together with magic power to drive a Gold Cloth, would the effect become even stronger?"

As Marco looked ahead to the future where his physical body might become truly invincible, he also began thinking about what awakening Cosmo meant for the enhancement of his Cloths.

A Cloth and Cosmo complemented each other.

The stronger the Cosmo, the more of the Cloth's true abilities one could bring out.

One could even force the Cloth to perform beyond its normal limits, drawing out power far above its rank.

If you made a Seventh Sense Gold Saint wear a Bronze Cloth, they could still make that Bronze Cloth display power far beyond Bronze level.

Just like those few special Silver Saints, who could bring out strength not weaker than that of Gold Saints—their Silver Cloths were no worse than Gold Cloths in practical effect.

Of course, that kind of overperformance had its limits too.

No matter how well you used a Bronze Cloth, it could never truly surpass a Gold Cloth.

If it was supposed to be broken, it would still be broken.

Marco's previous situation wasn't even a matter of making a Cloth overperform.

He hadn't even been bringing out the basic effects it was supposed to have in the first place.

"But now that I have Cosmo—even if it's only a newly awakened Sixth Sense, even if I'm just a Saint trainee—it'll definitely cause a qualitative change."

As he thought this, Marco summoned the newly unlocked Pisces Gold Cloth.

He wanted to test what a Cloth empowered by Cosmo was like.

As for whether a Sixth Sense Cosmo could wear a Gold Cloth—of course it could.

Seiya had worn the Sagittarius Gold Cloth more than once while still at the Sixth Sense stage, and had even used it to defeat the Leo Gold Saint Aiolia.

Sure, Seiya was the protagonist and had protagonist halo on his side.

But Marco, who had been able to wear Gold Cloths and even drive them with magic power before awakening Cosmo at all, was clearly the real protagonist here.

The Pisces Gold Cloth emerged from its Cloth Box in the form of a savage-looking golden fish clad in scales.

With a thought from Marco, the Pisces Gold Cloth immediately equipped itself onto his body.

Compared to the Leo Gold Cloth, this Pisces Gold Cloth was far more ornate. Its chest and abdominal armor resembled fish scales.

Its pauldrons had two layered sections, upper and lower, and its arm and leg guards bore fin-like decorations along the sides, making it look beautiful, elegant, and dangerous all at once—like a rose with thorns.

The moment he put on the Gold Cloth, Marco immediately felt the difference.

Having Cosmo and not having Cosmo were truly two completely different experiences.

Before, it had been like a child wearing an adult's clothing.

Now, with the Sixth Sense, wearing a Gold Cloth felt at least like an adolescent wearing an adult's clothing.

He still couldn't bring out its full power, but he could at least properly support it.

Standing inside the crater, Marco took out a Royal Demon Rose.

The crimson rose gave off a fragrant scent in his hand—beautiful, yet deadly.

"Burn, my Cosmo!"

Marco ignited his Cosmo and swung his hand fiercely.

The Royal Demon Rose shot out like an arrow released from the bow.

Just the sheer force of the throw alone was already on a completely different level than before—it was not something that could be matched by using magic power to drive it.

The Royal Demon Rose flew out, pierced into the rock wall, and kept going for a great distance, burying itself deep into the stone.

Marco himself had no idea how far it had flown.

If that target had been a person instead, there was absolutely no way they could have blocked it.

No matter how strong the armor, it would not have withstood the rose's attack.

Bzz!

Marco switched Cloths, changing into the Aries Gold Cloth. With a thought, the rose returned to his hand.

That was telekinesis.

The reason he had changed into the Aries Gold Cloth was because the Royal Demon Rose had flown too far—beyond the range of what a mere Sixth Sense trainee could manage.

Sure enough, the gap in psychic powers was enormous too.

Marco sent out another thought, and the scene before his eyes suddenly changed.

The image in his vision shifted to the Fairy Tail guild hall.

He himself had not moved. He was still standing where he was.

He was simply seeing the image of the guild hall.

This was the psychic power of visualization—an ability that let one see places tens of thousands of miles away.

If he possessed a Seventh Sense Cosmo, he could even easily observe anything happening anywhere on the entire planet.

Of course, Marco's current level was still far, far from that.
