James desperately tried to escape with Anya; however, the demon they were up against was always one step ahead of them.
James began to speak to the demon, trying to stall for time to think of something to do, and surprisingly, he entertained the conversation.
James just asked for their name, saying he wanted to know it before anything else happened, and the demon chuckled and told James that since they were going to kill him anyway, they might as well show them their true selves.
James was perplexed, as he thought the demon had already shown their true self; however, in an instant, their body and voice changed, and they told James their true name.
Moments after changing form, the demon told James their name, "Ella Elkwin".
James was shocked by their figure and confused about how they had hidden the fact that they were a woman for so long.
Ella looked at James and asked him if he had any last words before she killed him.
James immediately came back to his senses and asked her to make a deal with him.
Ella didn't have the patience to listen to his plea, so she just attacked him, but James kept going on and tried his best to dodge all her attacks until she eventually decided to stop and listen to whatever he had to say, as she couldn't keep wasting all her energy mindlessly attacking James.
James saw her stop and began talking about him helping her with something, as a means to get out with his and Anya's lives.
Ella didn't think much of it at first, but she remembered the real reason why she even went to the demon's place to begin with.
Ella laughed and told James to answer her very carefully. James nodded and let Ella speak her mind.
Ella asked James if he knew anyone by the name of Fae Harlow. James told Ella that he knew them and wondered what she wanted with them.
Ella told James that he was initially there to kill him for the things he had done to some of her friends; however was sidetracked by him.
