[THE DUNGEON]
(SCENE)
James asked Anya to tell him about what happened in her life after she left Zells Academy.
Anya hesitates for a second; however, she's compelled to tell James about her past, so she vaguely tells him about what she was up to during her time after she left the academy, and the new academy she went to after.
Anya mentions that she was somewhat forced into being a spy for some years,s and how she had it bad.
James asked Anya how they forced someone as strong as her to be a spy, and Anya told him that they injected her with demon-blood, and she didn't have an antidote for the demonisation that it would cause.
James asked if the demon-blood still afflicted Anya, but she said that she wasn't; however, she does have it slightly worse than that.
James asked her to elaborate on the situation, but before Anya could speak of it more, a slave mark suddenly appeared on her neck, which restricted her speech, limiting what she could and could not talk about.
(SCENE)
Anya groans in pain as she tries to speak; however, the Slave mark keeps her from verbalising anything. James asks Ein what the mark on her neck is, and is told that it's a mark that is given tothose which are made into slaves. James asked how Slave marks were still a thing, as Slavery hadn't been that widespread within Zalon.
Ein tells James that the Slave marks can only be put on if the person that going to get it on them willingly does it for some reason, regardless of weather its because they've been threatened or if it's because they want to serve someone as a Slave forever.
James asks Ein if there's a way to remove the slave mark forcefully, and Ein tells him that the only method he knows that would work to remove the mark is forming a soul contract with the person they're trying to remove the mark from.
James asked what a soul contract was, and Ein said that it varies from contract to contract; however, it's a contract that allows the contractor and the contractee to break free from conventional soul marking, such as slave contracts and such. If one or the other dies, they both die.
James said it was very extreme, but it would be off great use to him.
