"What a sinister looking insect! Sorry, I had to get rid of it. It was creeping me out." Bai Dupa said awkwardly, before slowly walking up towards the little boy next to Hui Shi in curiosity.
"Thank you. That insect had been trailing us for a while now. I noticed it yesterday, but it flew away before I could do anything." Hui Shi replied, before turning his attention to the little boy before him again.
"Is that so? It must be the Fang Clan trailing you three. You told me earlier that they were insect controllers right? You three better be careful in the future. I'll try my best to protect you, but I may not always be capable of coming to your aid." Mon Dupa said in concern, he then looked towards the child next to Hui Shi in interest, and awe.
"It probably is the Fang Clan, brother Mon Dupa. I previously told brother Lain, and sister Annette to be cautious from now on, but thanks for the reminder. Hopefully the Fang Clan won't do anything within the confines of the city." Hui Shi said in thanks, while looking at the child next to him in confusion.
'Where did this magnificent child come from? He's truly a wonder.' He then thought to himself.
"By the way, who's child is this?" Annette asked shyly, while looking at the glowing child. She too also decided to walk over to him, after looking at him for a minute in order to get a better understanding of him. She was too engrossed by the child to pay attention to what Hui Shi and Mon Dupa were saying earlier.
"Really, where did this child come from?" Lain added, while also looking at the glowing boy in wonder and awe, completely ignoring the words of Mon Dupa and Hui Shi. The indescribable feeling that he felt earlier while looking at the boy was still very vivid in his mind, and had distracted him from their conversation. It was a feeling that he knew everyone would remember for the rest of their lives.
"He's not part of your group? I saw the child walk up to Hui Shi earlier from the corner of my eyes and thought he was related to one of you three." Mon Dupa said in confusion. It seemed he was the first to notice the child's presence, but he never truly paid attention to him, until he spoke out.
"Yeah, isn't he related to you three? He's definitely not ours." Daisy said shyly, before she and the runedroid next to her also walked towards the little boy in front of them in confusion.
