Chapter 177 - Chapter 177: A Little Boy

Being completely oblivious to Lain's stunned reaction, Daisy quickly replied in shame after hearing the robot's words, "Yes, junior. I'm sorry Mr. Priest. I got carried away by your presence and beauty earlier, and accidentally blurted out words that I shouldn't have said." Before hiding behind the large runedroid next to her.

"It's fine, sister Daisy. You may call me brother Hui Shi from now on." Hui Shi smiled radiantly and replied gently to her, before shifting his focus towards the road that stretched endlessly towards the horizon. It seemed he saw something interesting far in the distant horizon.

"Okay, I'll call you brother Hui Shi from now on too! Brother Hui Shi, what are you staring at?" A strange, childish voice sounded out next to Hui Shi, before Daisy could reply to him. Drawing the attention of everyone.

"I believe a flying chariot is coming towards us…wait. Who are you, little one?" Hui Shi replied slowly, only to realize mid-speech that he was talking to a child whose voice he's never heard before.

Hearing the child's words, everyone quickly looked over at the child in confusion. Looking at the child, everyone was immediately mesmerized by his etheric-like presence.

The boy was only about four years of age, was bare chested, with a pair of worn out shorts that had holes and stains all over them. He had the most beautiful, long blonde hair that the group had ever seen, and his eyes were so unimaginably beautiful to look at that the entire group were completely entranced the moment they made eye contact with him.

The boy's body was so perfectly made, that he looked like the embodiment of beauty, as he stood there nonchalantly, while the group was entranced by his perfectly beautiful body, and enchanting eyes.

The only defect on the boy's body was that his face was covered by a plain, brown, wooden mask, as if someone tried to hide his perfectly beautiful face from the world. Yet, even with the mask on, the words "perfect beauty" radiated from his very being.

While the group was entranced by the little boy before them, the buzzing of an insect woke them up from their dazed state.

The moment the group looked away from the boy towards the buzzing insect, they all immediately felt a strange feeling of extreme, suicidal depression, and unwillingness to live any longer without the boy's beauty coming from the deepest depths of their hearts. The world for some reason, in their eyes immediately became ugly, cruel, depressing, and boring, after looking away from the little boy.
