The Sword Saint finished his demonstration and sheathed his sword.
The courtyard fell into complete silence.
Everyone remained stunned. What they had just seen was not merely swordsmanship, but art, philosophy, and life itself.
"So beautiful…" Rowan said sincerely. "Every move feels alive."
"That is the power of insight," the Sword Saint replied with a faint smile. "When you understand nature, your cultivation enters a new realm."
He then spent time explaining the methods of cultivating insight: observing nature, understanding life, meditation, and real combat experience.
"There is no shortcut to insight," he said finally. "It accumulates slowly. But once it breaks through, your entire level changes."
In the afternoon, he taught Rowan special applications of spiritual force.
Not for attack, but for perception.
How to sense the pulse of nature. How to connect with the world.
"The highest realm of spiritual force," he said, "is unity with heaven and earth. At that moment, you will understand the universe itself."
As the sun set, the session ended.
Rowan felt deeply enriched.
"Thank you for your guidance," he said sincerely. "Today's lesson will benefit me for life."
"It is our duty to guide the young," the Sword Saint replied gently. "You have talent. If you continue, you will go far."
Before leaving, he handed Rowan an old book.
"This is my personal cultivation record. It is mainly about swordsmanship, but many principles apply to spiritual force."
Rowan immediately tried to refuse.
"Take it," the old man insisted. "Knowledge only has meaning when passed on."
On the way back, Silver Moon smiled.
"It seems Grandmaster really likes you. That book is his treasure. He never gives it to outsiders."
"That senior is truly extraordinary," Rowan said. "Today's gains exceed my past years of cultivation."
That night, Rowan studied the book carefully.
One sentence struck him deeply.
"The strong are not those who possess power, but those who understand it."
He looked out at Silver Moon Lake under the night sky.
And began to feel the world in a completely new way.
The next morning, Rowan sat by the lake practicing spiritual force as instructed.
Nature responded.
The lake, the mountains, the wind.
Everything began to resonate with him.
"Rowan," Silver Moon called softly, holding a cup of tea.
He opened his eyes.
"Feeling better?" she asked.
"Yes," he said. "My spiritual force feels… purer."
Just then, Silver Radiance rushed in.
"Sister, someone is here to see you."
Silver Moon frowned slightly. "Who?"
"Lin Jianfeng."
Rowan paused.
Silver Moon sighed. "Of course it's him."
Before they could continue, a loud voice echoed outside.
"Silver Moon, come out!"
And just like that, the calm of the lake was interrupted.
