Chapter 28 - Sane Again.

Hei An, seeing his appearance that closely resembled his own on earth, couldn't help but chuckle, though with his face - you wouldn't be able to tell - as his expression didn't change at all, leading him to wonder if he had obtained hypomimia or Moebius syndrome due to transmigration.

Though he didn't really care, as he collapsed to the ground with a dull thud, as a surge of pain went through his entire body along with memories of a man named Aurelius von Solon, the son of Count Solon and Countess Solon.

A natural Beyonder of the Justiciar and Black Emperor pathway, and a sequence 5 of each, as his mother and father are both high-sequence Beyonders of each.

But this didn't make Hei An even the slightest bit happy, as he, after escaping the clutches of the Original Creator - or most likely the mirrored one - had to deal with the law of convergence impacting every part of him.

Which had killed the original owner of the body. So while wincing and convulsing on the ground, he felt something stirring within him as the characteristics in his body seemed to feel a large sense of hunger for each other.

Fuck you little, shits just- however, his thoughts couldn't continue as he felt something else slowly stirring within him, as the surface of the mirror flickered and warped, the silvered glass turning into a viscous, blood-colored liquid that began to boil. From the depths of that crimson, the reflection shifted into a crazed, translucent man wearing blood-stained black armor.

"He" was young and handsome with red hair, but "His" face bore terrifying signs of decay. At "His" glabella was a flag-like mark. Bloody mouths tore open on both sides of "His" cheeks; the left mouth belonged to Sauron, while the right mouth belonged to Einhorn. They constantly fought each other, unable to agree on anything - except the fact that they couldn't agree with each other on nearly anything.

The mirror rippled again, the warring visages of the Red Angel dissolving into the image of an extremely attractive woman. Without a doubt, the woman was the most charming woman in the world.

"She" was an extremely beautiful woman, with charm at the level of concepts and authorities. All living beings and all things would be infatuated and entranced by "Her" slightest expression, perpetually in ecstasy.

"She" wore a gown that appeared to be woven from bleached white bones, "Her" hair resembling a mass of dark, slick serpents that shifted and coiled with a life of their own. "Her" pale hands were delicate and elegant, yet they carried a weight of ancient, cold authority that seemed to pull at the very fabric of reality.

However, the mirror didn't stop there, as it rapidly flashed various figures - each crazed, or a seeming reflection of one in another. This of course caused the spirituality of Hei An to try and force a lobotomy of his brain as blood leaked from his nose.

And his eyes went a bloodshot red as his face heated up, his cheeks going from pink to a bright red, and an extreme desire threatened to take over his body. Hei An could barely muster thought as his eyes just couldn't close, and the images in the mirror became more and more chaotic.

Which further led to his skin darkening and becoming more and more bronze, as well as the hair on his body starting to grow rapidly and resembling that of a baboon more and more, as his head felt like something would burst out of it.

But screaming, Hei An thought of various things over and over again, trying to find something - anything - to get out of this situation. As the urge to merge with something in the mirror intensified, he remembered a certain figure who would come to help Roselle in the future.

''Uhg- Arruhhhgg! #@@#!!#-'' Forcing his throat to make sounds only made it sound as though a baboon was screaming and a bronze something was echoing its voice. But I can't give up - I don't want to die - that thought spun within his head as he shouted while trying to leverage his characteristics' connection.

''N- Nation of Disorder, p-p-p-please, Celestial Thearch, please hel- me- me, me!'' But knowing the connection to the western continent was existing at best, and barely at that, he could only use his authority as a dual pathway of the Black Emperor and Justiciar.

To transmit what might be happening to him - except the obvious losing control to his spirituality - along with some knowledge that wouldn't change much for the future of COI or LOTM, at least in his eyes, as he shouted again.

''I pray to you - The Anarchy, Shadow of Order, Bridge of Light and Darkness, Interstice Between Black and White, Ever-Uncertain Mist, The Truth that Oversees All Things, The Nation of Disorder, the great Celestial Thearch-''

However, he didn't need to keep speaking, as he felt as if in a daze, as he was transported to a grand, majestic palace hidden behind thirty-three layers of swirling clouds and deep mist.

From the bottom up, azure light pulsed through sacred buildings that seemed both solid and ethereal, stacking upon one another until they reached the highest firmament.

There, at the peak of the heavenly court, sat a colossal, imperial figure. ''Their'' face was a void concealed behind the swaying jade strings of a crown, and beneath ''Their'' dragon-patterned robes, there was no body - only an endless, shifting darkness. It was a place where order and chaos were two sides of the same coin, an oppressive silence that felt like the weight of every law ever written.

However, as Hei An appeared, the figure shrunk significantly - no, not that. What had happened was Hei An had grown to somewhat match the figure in size, as the two characteristics in his body slowly started to calm down and his mind became serene, without causing a feeling of whiplash.

And slowly, the hair growing crazily on his body receded and his skin reverted to normal, though weird text and symbols that seemed to judge everything with a strict code of justice were unwilling to leave for a few more seconds before they, as well, faded.

The figure, which Hei An assumed to be the Celestial Thearch, spoke up in a calm yet imperious manner: ''I have decided to save you; however, I cannot fully save you, as ''They'' have slowly started to awaken within you. But it can be managed, as ''They'' are merely a reflection of ''Them'' and not ''Their'' true self.

I will be giving you a boon - for an hour a day, you shall be equivalent to a sequence 1 in your terms, and for this hour you will be forced within the Nation of Disorder as I nurture you and calm down the characteristics within you.

However, do note - this is only a short-term fix, as I cannot truly help you. As you know, I'm still sealed within the Central Plains; my influence can only barely help you.'' And after making ''Their'' judgment, ''they'' stared at Hei An, who soon realized ''they'' were waiting for him to speak.

So, after silently lampooning that the Celestial Thearch couldn't just talk for longer, he somewhat reluctantly spoke up: ''I agree - that would be the best temporary fix. However, I know of something we can do, or at least mostly I can do, if you don't mind me saying it, of course.''

The Celestial Thearch gave tacit approval to Hei An to continue, which he gladly took. ''As you probably know, thanks to the events from earlier, I have gained some knowledge, and thanks to that I've already come up with a good enough fix for my situation, though it'll take me about a thousand or more years to actually do - if you don't do me a small favor.''

Intrigued, the Celestial Thearch let him continue speaking, seemingly not opposed to granting him a favor. At that, Hei An let out a breath of air as he spoke again in a staccato manner: ''Obviously, you were given knowledge of the apocalypse along with some other things, so I propose to you - not just forcing me into the Nation of Disorder for an hour a day, but also giving me slight control.

Not full control, not even more than 10%, just enough to directly pray and ask for help, and also have gatherings here so I can, along with a few other beings, discuss how to steer the world in a way that would...''

For about fifteen minutes, Hei An discussed with the Celestial Thearch what he planned on doing and tried to convince them that they really didn't want to take advantage of them. However, the Celestial Thearch stopped him and spoke up.

''You don't need to continue. I have already decided to help you in whatever way I can that won't cause major disruption to the order of the world. Also, do note - unlike the rest of those chaotic fools, this avatar and my will are in fact ordered and ''calm.''

I do not need much convincing on such matters, though I will be watching over everything intensely and will manifest if I judge it necessary in your future gatherings, as well as the first gathering.''

After saying such to him, Hei An felt a pull and something draining within him, realizing that his boon for the day was coming to an end. He decided to condense a blindfold for himself using a characteristic he randomly grabbed from the Nation of Disorder, along with the authority of the Nation of Disorder, to create a sealed artifact.

Quickly covering his eyes with it, he appeared near the mirror again; however, his hasty actions didn't amount to much, as the mirror had all of its glass shattered, causing him to feel somewhat stupid as he sat up from his lying-down position.

As he pushed down the blindfold he had made, he felt his characteristics somewhat stir; however, they quickly calmed down, thanks to his blindfold. Shortly after doing so, he dusted himself off, but with a frown he noticed he had grown somewhat taller and his hair had gotten longer and more luscious.

Ignoring that for now, he silently pondered over whether he should meet his parents and siblings at dinner today, as he had already chosen to just live as Aurelius von Solon. After a while, he decided - why not? Though first, he looked over to the shattered glass and, with a sigh, decided to clean it up before doing anything else.
