Chapter 530 - 530. Destroying the Body of God

Within this den of flesh and blood,

Countless tentacle spearheads, composed of sinew and flesh, continuously attacked within this space.

These tentacles, formed from the condensation of flesh and blood, were controlled by the god himself.

Compared to the tide of flesh and blood, the flesh and blood he had condensed himself far surpassed him in both appearance and power.

Previously, the tentacles formed from the tide of flesh and blood had hardly posed a significant impact on the crowd.

Now, however, every muscle, every tendon, seemed perfectly sculpted into the very fabric of these tentacles.

Their surface was smooth, each muscle fitting seamlessly onto it like a sculpture.

The immense force generated by these connections pushed each tentacle's piercing and projecting capabilities to their maximum potential.

Lucilia wielded her cursed sword, slashing or dissolving into mist to evade the attacks.

Ever since she'd first used her space dagger to teleport behind the Newborn God and strike him, she'd struggled to even get close.

Every time Lucilia prepared to teleport, the barrage of incoming attacks left her with no energy to move.

Just parrying took up almost all of her energy.

It was clear that Lucilia's hopes of defeating the foe before her were no longer viable.

"Lucilia."

Arka's voice rang from behind.

At that sound, Lucilia swung her greatsword and spun violently.

Powerful soul waves swept around.

Though they had no effect on the soulless tentacles, the soul waves still slowed them down, and then severed all the tentacles surrounding her.

Immediately retreating.

A mirror appeared before Lucilia, blocking all the pursuing tentacles.

Then Lucilia returned to Alka and the others.

"Oh? Aren't you going to fight anymore?"

The new god asked, looking at the crowd.

"Since you've reached despair, I'll personally escort you back to the Underworld."

He smiled calmly.

Alka smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'll do it this time."

The new god wasn't angry at this, nor did he say much. He simply remained where he was, as if waiting.

Lucililia and the others looked at Alka.

Alka whispered something in Lucilia's ear.

Lucili frowned at him, then nodded.

Lucili looked at the massive cursed sword in her hand, its massive blade held in one hand. Lucelia then placed her left hand on Alka's chest, and with her right hand, she swung the cursed blade.

The cursed blade had now transformed into a soul blade, and it swung.

The moment it swung, Lucelia entered Alka's body.

Alka's body also changed, his flesh and blood swaying.

The soul, manifested externally, enveloped the body with spiritual energy.

The last string connecting his body to the dream realm snapped.

Alka's soul and spirit were disconnected from his body.

His strength began to surge.

He no longer needed to deliberately channel the power of the dream; his strength began to gravitate towards the dream.

Inside his body.

Lucelia herself became the link between his physical body and Alka's spirit.

Using her own power, she continued to connect the two. The voice reached Alka's ears.

"I can only hold out for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, your body and soul will be completely separated, and you'll be confined to the dream realm."

Alka nodded. "That's enough."

Looking at Alka now,

Even the newly born god, who had always maintained a calm expression, couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, surprise etched in his expression.

"I didn't realize you were the King of Dreams. How amazing!

A mortal, yet you became the King of Dreams, not even a creature of dreams... How did you do it?"

The newly born god's surprise was tinged with confusion.

Time was pressing for Alka, who no longer had the time to chat with him.

The mystery of the dream began to spread wildly. In an instant, bizarre colors and the pink mist of the dream filled the entire space.

A powerful electric current, seemingly unseen, instantly pierced the mist and landed around the Newborn God.

The intense current made contact with his body.

This time, the Newborn God didn't dare delay.

The flesh wings behind him fluttered, and his figure began to move swiftly within the mystery of the dream.

The surrounding flesh walls condensed into various flesh tentacles, following his lead and attacking.

This was the interior of the tide of flesh.

This was his main battlefield.

At the base of the flesh where they stood, the silver liquid formed by the mirror began to slowly flow, enveloping the entire battlefield.

Alka's figure appeared behind the Newborn God. Translucent piercing energy, condensed from the elements, instantly pierced the body of the New God.

Before the tentacle attack could reach him, his body shattered into mirror-like shapes and vanished on the spot.

The New God stared at the hole in his body.

Flesh and blood woven together, repairing his body.

The piercing of his body, whether through his arms, chest, or head, did not affect his movements in the slightest.

"Ting!"

A pleasant voice echoed from the mist.

"Coin?"

The New God narrowed his eyes slightly, sensing something was amiss with him.

It was extremely concealed, but his body and the power it projected were insufficient to locate the source of the sound or the nature of his problem.

He gazed at the dreamlike mist that permeated the surroundings.

The mist completely obscured his perception, not just his own, but also the senses he could sense through the surrounding flesh and blood.

He was like a blind man in this place, blinded by the eyes of others.

Instantly, he was at a disadvantage.

The figure froze in place.

Suddenly, he spun, his wings behind him, the spear in his hand, and even the surrounding flesh coalescing into a piercing spear, instantly piercing the figure behind him.

"The same attack can't work twice."

Behind him was Alka's figure.

He had suddenly appeared, but was instantly pierced by the sudden force, like a mirror being shattered.

With a crackling sound, he shattered into pieces.

But at this moment, Alka's figure reappeared behind the New God, merging with the dream's mist.

A ball of translucent energy, at some unknown moment, pierced the New God's back. Once again, a massive hole was punched through his chest.

By the time he reacted, Alka's figure had vanished.

This time, the newborn god couldn't help but frown.

The gaping hole in his chest was quickly healed by the spreading flesh and blood.

Before he could react, Alka's figure reappeared before him.

The flesh and blood attacks began to spread, no longer randomly selecting targets, but instead engaging in large, direct attacks.

Behind the newborn god, a face also appeared, and the wings on his back transformed back into rearward-pointing arms.

His once sculpted, perfect form had become a distorted, grotesque form.

Alka's figure flickered constantly, his attacks coming at random.

Attacks, a vast array of elements, mingled with the energy of dreams, raged around him, creating an unpredictable situation.

These attacks, delivered with such frenzied intensity and increasing in number, were beginning to overwhelm the Newborn God.

Hole after hole began to appear on its body, but these wounds meant nothing to it, as its entire body lacked any vital points.

Whether it struck its arms, chest, or even its head, it was all the same to it.

"I've had enough," the Newborn God said, frowning, a hint of irritation on his face.

Then his four arms slapped downward.

The entire tide of flesh and blood began to sway slightly, the central chamber squeezing upward and downward.

Sofia and the others outside saw this, and before they could react, the mirror beneath their feet teleported them all out, vanishing from the spot.

Alka's figure once again solidified before him. The ceiling and floor of the flesh tide began to sprout sharp teeth, and the entire chamber began to bite like a bloody maw.

Unless Arka gave up on killing him, he would be torn to pieces by this yawning mouth.

The New God before him looked at Arka.

"Is this your last resort?" Arka asked.

"Of course not. This is just the beginning."

With this, the New God waved his hand, and a vast mass of muscle threads began to spread throughout the mountain of flesh.

"What is that?"

Outside.

Saflev stood on the massive steel ship, watching the flesh on Whiterun Island transform and grow.

The mountain-like flesh, at some unknown moment, began to change from a twisted, tumor-like form.

It was as if a giant, once crouching on the island, slowly began to stand.

Flesh and blood intertwined to form muscles and tendons, and the massive body rose to its feet.

A figure, hundreds of meters tall and resembling an ancient giant, stood erect on the island.

The incredible height caused everyone on board to look up.

A certain emotion began to spread among the surrounding ships.

The overwhelming pressure brought by the enormous size overwhelmed everyone, casting a shadow over their mood.

Some sailors on the ships couldn't help but scream.

"God... God has descended."

Sailors who didn't believe in God even knelt on the deck and began to pray haphazardly.

"Fire!"

It was unknown who gave the order.

It was also unknown which ship launched the first attack.

All the ships followed suit, firing cannonballs and various energy sources one after another.

They attacked the giant in the distance.

The noises and changes in flesh and blood outside had no effect on Alka and the others inside the giant.

"Do you feel that? Those fears outside, those mortals trying to kill the gods."

"Five more minutes," Lucilia's voice echoed in Alka's ear.

"It's over," Alka said.

Then, the mirror hidden within the dream, which stretched across the entire chamber, flipped.

The newborn god and Alka were instantly drawn into the mirrored world within the dream.

Feeling the changes around them, they took in their surroundings.

"Reflected world?"

This must be the name for the mirrored world in the Golden Age.

Before he could react,

the dream world began to invade the mirrored world.

Compared to the distance between dreams and reality, the distance between dreams and the mirrored world could be controlled by Alka, allowing the two to be infinitely close.

Alka's power climbed once again.

He had almost reached the pinnacle of the eighth stage.

A crystal crown appeared above Alka's head.

Alka gazed at the god before him.

"Now, I am a god."

Then a golden light flickered in his eyes.

This time, he saw more, penetrated deeper secrets.

He stretched out his hand and grasped.

The new god was instantly trapped in place, unable to move.

Countless gigantic, exaggerated creatures composed of white mist gathered around him, their massive heads transformed into ferocious forms, glaring at the god below.

It seemed as if these powerful mist-like creatures would tear him to pieces if he dared to move.

Watching this scene, the new god remained unfazed.

"Perhaps such a world would be difficult for mortals to crack, but for us gods, it seems remarkably easy."

Dense cracks appeared in the world's space.

His control over flesh and blood even broke through the spatial blockade.

The tentacles attacking from outside transformed into spears that thrust into the void, as if some deadly node existed in the air.

"Crack."

Accompanied by a cracking sound.

A crack appeared in the air of the mirror world, and a scarlet, muscled tentacle pierced through.

Although the Newborn God was imprisoned, a smile appeared on his face.

"You see, it's simple, isn't it?"

Arka's figure appeared before the Newborn God.

Staring at him.

A golden light flashed in his eyes.

"You are fearless. Your body, constructed of muscle, offers no weaknesses. You have no fear of your own body falling into death."

This is the New God's greatest confidence.

His body is resilient, powerful, and impervious to weakness.

Unless Alka can instantly pulverize his body, leaving not a single shred behind, or attack his soul like Lucilia, he will be able to reassemble a new body in record time, unaffected.

Alka extended his hand, the six elemental powers mingling in his palm.

He lifted a spell from the air and pressed it against the New God's chest.

The moment the spell was pressed, the New God's eyes widened.

His eyes were filled with disbelief.

"How did you know? How did you..."

He hadn't finished his words when the flesh and blood on his body began to dissipate, his eyes still etched with disbelief. His body dissolved into dust and vanished.

Only two orange orbs of light remained.

The divine essence that had formed his body, and the trace of red light on his body, had returned to the sky as the power dissipated.

The mirror world reversed.

Arka's soul-like body began to transform, and with Lucilia's help, the connection was restored.

Outside.

A gigantic flesh-and-blood titan suddenly collapsed onto the island, its massive body rumbling with a violent clatter and sending up a cloud of dust.

In front of everyone's eyes.

The flesh and blood of this enormous giant began to dissipate, turning into a sky of ash.

As the breeze blew, the ashes drifted away, drifting toward the sea and the sky, dispersing.

"Is this... the end?"

Someone murmured.

Moonlight streaked across the sky, and the clouds curled.

A figure quickly made its way to the island.

The crowd searched the island.

Soon, Sofia noticed, and following the flicker of moonlight, they immediately arrived beside Alka, who lay amidst the ashes.

Alka was half-lying against a metal pillar.

Lusilia sat beside him.

"Are you all right?"

Everyone rushed over.

Matlisa immediately began examining the two.

She found nothing amiss except that they were exhausted and their magic power was severely depleted.

However, Alka felt a flickering sensation in his body.

Seeing the worried expressions on everyone's faces, Alka smiled and waved his hand.

"Don't worry, it's just that the connection between flesh and soul is a little weak. It will take some time to rebuild a solid connection."

Having Lucelia sever the link and then repair it again is no easy task. The aftereffects are something we must endure.

Just enduring this is already good enough; there haven't been any major problems.

Alka had discussed this operation with Lucelia long ago, after she received the cursed sword.

The two of them had even discussed it.

Otherwise, this situation would have been difficult to resolve.

Watching the weakened duo, the crowd around them simply waited.
