Thick fog permeated the entire sea. Following Sofia's warning, everyone looked around.
A faint green light emerged from the fog. Sofia quickly opened his hands, and a large amount of light began to gather into balls, which he released one by one.
The balls of light emanated, illuminating the fog for everyone, allowing them to clearly see distant objects even in the thick fog.
At least the light allowed them to vaguely discern the outlines of objects, instead of the previous incomprehensible state.
The soul fire of the withered skeleton within the coffin on the ship, whose skull had been pierced, flared once more, and its bones, once the umbrella frame, began to piece together again due to a strange force.
The skeleton's mouth opened, and it seemed to emit a strange sound. Then, Sofia, standing nearby, kicked the skeleton and the entire coffin into the sea.
The faint green light appeared, and two shabby ships circled the Dawn Sound from both sides. The shabby ship was built of ghostly planks, its masts hung with tattered sails, and one mast could even be seen broken.
The skeletal sailors wiggled their joints and bones, swinging the ship's ropes as if they could actually control the sails.
Undead, ghostly green spirits swished out from the holes in the ship's deck. Their exposed faces screamed incessantly.
Dead ship.
A thicker fog began to gather, blurring the two undead ships.
"Ouch! New friends are coming! My sailors, fire at them!"
"Fire!"
"Charge, charge!"
"Outsiders are not welcome here. Die!"
A variety of roars from the spirits penetrated the souls of the crowd.
"Everyone, respond to the challenge!"
Arka roared, and stirring music rose from the Voice of Dawn, like the drumbeat of war.
Julia immediately revealed her true mermaid form, its tail wrapped around her, lifting her up.
Red and green coins began to flip before her, and Julia began to sing.
She sang along with the Voice of Dawn.
The melodious song pierced her soul.
"What a terrible song! My head hurts!"
"My skull is cracking!"
"Shut that woman up!"
Various shouts echoed around them; it was clear that Julia's song was working.
The interwoven red and green energy poured directly into everyone's bodies, even coating the surface of the ship.
Power surged.
"There's something underwater!" Sofia shouted.
Upon hearing this, Pororo leaped from the deck into the water without hesitation.
Then, lightning flashed through the mist, filling a vast expanse of seawater with electric light.
Skeletons bubbled up from the water.
"Roar!"
With a dragon's roar, a portal suddenly appeared on the deck. Urulius flew directly out of it, soaring into the sky and plunging into the mist.
As he flew out, he grabbed Jason with his dragon claws and soared into the sky together.
"Ah! It's a dragon! Admiral Ghost will have a new title today! Dragon Slayer! Hahahahaha!"
The voice that had been giving orders a moment ago echoed again, as if it belonged to the ship's leader.
Simon quickly reached the poop and stood on the stern deck, arms outstretched.
The muzzles on both sides of the Dawn's Voice instantly opened. One massive cannon after another extended.
Each cannon was entangled in vines, and energy surged into them.
A dim light emanated from the ship, but its illumination was so vast amidst the mist that the ships were unable to accurately determine its location.
"Sofia!"
Hearing Simon's voice, Sofia quickly manipulated the light balls to spread further outward.
Several light balls found their target and immediately connected with the ghost ship.
A beam of light pierced through the mist.
Instantly, the target was selected.
"Bang!"
A continuous barrage of cannon fire rang out as the three ships opened fire simultaneously.
The shells fired from the Dawn's Voice resembled flowers, but these sharp flowers formed buds, their petals wrapped together like drill bits.
They even spun rapidly in the air. It immediately broke through the mist and plunged directly into the Necromancer's ship.
"Damn it! What are you rotten bones doing? Get this damn flower off my ship!"
The flower exploded, and a vast mass of vines began to entwine the ship. The immense force of the vines even shattered the wooden planks.
Some skeletons, too slow to react, were also caught in the trap. Bones snapped wildly, twisting into a ball, their strength evidently gone.
"Fire!"
The enemy finally locked onto Alka and the Voice of Dawn's position. One after another, a dark green shell whirled towards them, trailing a trajectory like a spirit.
A shield had already been raised around the Voice of Dawn.
However, contrary to their expectations, the shells pierced through the shield.
Heading straight for the ship.
Several spherical monsters, each the size of a head, flew out, their enormous mouths opening in mid-air. Its open mouth, larger than its own body, swallowed the soul cannonballs in one gulp.
Only a few of the cannonballs launched from both sides landed on the ship, four of which were devoured by Juanlu's treasure.
The spherical monster that had consumed the soul cannonballs also displayed ghostly qualities, becoming transparent.
A cannonball struck the side of the ship, instantly exploding into billowing, dark green flames that clung to the surface and began to burn fiercely.
And it was the flames of the soul itself.
Truly sinister.
The large tree in the center of the flowerbed began to sway, the crystals dangling from it gleaming.
On one of its branches hung a light-blue crystal. The entire branch suddenly grew out, carrying the blue crystal to the spot where the soul fire burned.
It smashed the crystal into the soul fire, instantly extinguishing it with a special force.
"Buzz~"
A bee-like sound echoed, the sound of propellers.
The surrounding mist spiraled along the propellers, and the center of the deck opened, revealing a swarm of Sentinel aircraft controlled by Simon.
They split into two groups and flew towards the two Necrons.
A dense barrage of explosive shells was unleashed, and explosions began to echo from the Necrons.
The already battered Necrons became even more battered by the explosions. But such damage seemed insignificant to the Necrons.
"Great! I haven't encountered such an interesting opponent in ages."
Finally, Huanghuang's voice was clearly located.
He was to the right of the Voice of Dawn.
The three ships raced against each other, swiftly sailing through the mist-filled sea.
The two Necromancers seemed able to roughly discern their direction through the fog, but the Dawn's Voice was incredibly fast, rivaling the two pure Necromancers.
As a result, the Necromancers' already renowned speed paled in comparison to the Dawn's.
This made it difficult for their shells to hit the Dawn's Voice.
In contrast, the Dawn's special fireworks, due to their unique construction, were incredibly fast, and thanks to Sofia's precise targeting, they were incredibly accurate.
A brilliant light emanated from the sky above. With a dragon's roar, Ululius swooped down from the sky.
One after another, brilliant orbs of magic rained down.
Each explosion was capable of carrying away several skeleton sailors and screaming evil spirits aboard.
Only then did they notice that on Ululius's back were several puppet girls wielding spells.
They crouched on Ulurius's back, becoming her bombardment machines, raining down a barrage of magical orbs with pinpoint accuracy.
Some of these, entrained with crystals, exploded, freezing portions of the Necromancer ship and enveloping it in crystal.
With a swoop, Ulurius unleashed a burst of iridescent energy. All the demons and the ship in a straight line were frozen into crystal.
Suddenly, a violent crash erupted from the side of the Dawn's Voice.
At some point, two small breakout ships emerged from the mist. Carrying scores of undead, they slammed into the Dawn's Voice.
The skeletons of the ships gripped the Voice's body like claws, preventing the ship from being thrown from the impact.
One after another, thick vines erupted from the ships, lashing the skeletal ships like whips.
Some skeletons and undead were sucked into the water before they could even climb aboard, but a significant number still managed to make it aboard.
"Brothers, board!"
The sea surface broke open, and another undead ship emerged from the water. The moment it emerged, a large number of ropes shot out, their barbs catching various points on the Voice of Dawn.
As the ropes slid, one zombie after another fell to the deck.
A skeleton had barely touched the deck when a scarlet blade pierced its skull, instantly scattering it.
Above the fog-shrouded deck, something seemed to be flying swiftly.
A small creature slithered through the shadows.
The puppet girls worked efficiently together, using the Voice of Dawn, which they were incredibly familiar with, to clear out the falling undead.
A vast vine, shrouded in green energy, sprouted from the bottom of the flowerbed, joining in the destruction of these monsters.
A blue meteor rose from the deck and crashed directly into the deck of another Necromancer.
The immense force instantly shattered the entire Necromancer's ship in the middle, wreaking havoc within it.
Any undead blocking the meteor's path were instantly crushed to pieces.
With this extraordinary devastation, the first Necromancer sank.
This Necromancer, completely broken in half, began to sink into the sea.
"Damn it! What a tough nut! We are fearless pirates, charge, brothers!"
"Charge!"
"Go, go!"
Finally, the captain commanding the three Necromancers appeared.
The captain was dressed in typical pirate attire, complete with a pirate hat topped with a feather.
But his body was a complete skeleton, its joints even clasped with metal, resembling buckles made of gold and jade.
He held a scimitar in his hand, and his left leg had been replaced with a golden prosthetic leg.
In the white mist, a pink cloud had inadvertently blended in.
A hand suddenly emerged from the mist behind him, knocking off his pirate hat and pinning his head down.
"You damned skeleton! A brave sneak attack, huh?"
As the words fell, with a snap, the skull's head was torn straight off its neck.
From within the pink mist, Alka emerged.
Looking at the skull being torn off in his hand, Alka could actually see a look of surprise on its face.
"Stop your damned undead minions now!"
He pressed his fingers together, and a pink mist and power poured into the skull.
"Oh, of course."
"Didn't you hear me, you damned fellows? Stop! Stop what you're doing!"
As his words fell, the undead instantly fell silent, turning to look in the direction of the voice.
"The captain has been captured?"
"Has the invincible admiral fallen?"
This time, it was another skeleton, and judging by his attire, he seemed to be the undead captain's second-in-command.
"Brothers, keep going!"
As he spoke, a pirate hat materialized in his hand and he donned it.
"Haha, I'm the new captain now. Golden-Eye Taidak will command the invincible ghost fleet!"
"Ohhhhh! Charge!"
With the birth of the new captain, all the undead who had stopped roared again, preparing to attack.
Suddenly, the sea broke open, and Pororo's figure burst forth from the water. His arms, swirling with blue-gray lightning, fell as he burst forth.
He landed right next to the new captain, his massive hand grasping the skull. Then, with a sudden force, a flood of lightning flashed wildly.
The clenched hand opened, revealing a dusty skull and a golden prosthetic eye.
"Haha, damned traitor! This must be killing him. Everyone, stop now!"
The captain's head was lifted high by Alka.
With the captain's roar, the skeletons halted their attacks.
This time, no new captain was appointed.
"Haha, sir, are you satisfied now?"
The skull, held in Alka's hand, asked, a hint of flattery in its voice.
At this moment, Alka stood atop the ghostly flagship. A brilliantly radiant crystal dragon descended from the sky, knocking the nearby skeleton overboard.
With a wave of its claws, it swept the obstructing skeleton down with it.
"Damn bone thing."
Jason jumped off the dragon's back.
The ship the first mate had just appeared on beside the Voice of Dawn had been taken over by Pororo.
A flash of blue light flashed, and Sofia appeared on the Voice of Dawn.
Of the undead ship she had destroyed, only its inverted bow and stern remained, still partially submerged.
The large number of undead and skeletons on that ship were swimming towards the other two undead ships.
Arka looked at the skull in his hand: "Now tell me, why are you attacking us?"
"Haha, just kidding, I was just kidding."
"Joke?" Arka frowned, slowly clenching his fist.
"Oh my god, you thought you were a pushover? You're alive, and I'm undead! What's wrong with me hitting you?"
The skull, screaming and wailing under the pinch, shouted.
"Is there an island in this fog?"
Arka asked, looking at the skull.
"Uh..." The skull hesitated.
"Don't even think about lying. I can see through it," Arka said, narrowing his eyes slightly.
The skull shook slightly. "Yes, sir, there is indeed an island here. We call it the Island of the Dead."
Arka lifted the skull and examined it carefully. Then he looked at the undead who were standing still and watching him.
After a moment's thought, he lifted the skull and walked over to a nearby skeleton sailor.
The skeleton wore a turban, and a gold tooth could be seen on its teeth.
"Your name isn't Gold Tooth, is it?"
