Chapter 401 - 401. All Means Used

But Pororo dodged every air bullet aimed at him.

Using his legs and tail as a boost, Pororo dodged everywhere, displaying agility that belied his appearance.

He was also able to accurately capture incoming attacks.

Observing this, Kriel frowned.

Without the influence of Alka's pink mist, his judgment of the battle was no longer as hazy as before.

But he couldn't understand how Pororo managed this. Was it a racial talent?

Was his reaction speed too fast, or did he use some kind of technique?

Suddenly, he sensed something and swung his fist, but his punch hit nothing.

An item on his waist had been stolen.

The mist, which had infiltrated at some point, had surprisingly not alerted him at all.

By then, the wound on his right arm had almost healed.

Alka had stolen his healing item.

"That's a good thing! It's mine now." Alka's voice had barely escaped him when a pneumatic bullet blasted from his direction.

"Wrong! I wasn't there."

Kriel had merely thrown the pneumatic bullet experimentally, then conserved his energy.

Alka's behavior was strange. Even if he hadn't been dragged into a dream through the pink mist, the pervasive fog was affecting his judgment.

And the fact that he had just stolen something through the mist without alerting him at all, only heightened his vigilance.

Alka, hidden within the mist, stared at the healing item he had just stolen.

He had actually gotten it.

Kriel's spatial equipment was a fully functional treasure.

It could teleport long distances, but with a certain delay.

Such a pre-swing was extremely difficult to avoid in battle, making its use meaningless.

So, within the fixed space of the tumbler, he simply forgot to use it.

Because such short-distance teleportation was less effective than simply charging forward.

Correspondingly, Alka could also use certain spatial abilities within this stable area.

He used the mist as his hand and reached out, stealing his belongings through spatial power.

The mist's mind-altering power made it extremely easy to evade the enemy's vigilance at this moment, as long as Alka suppressed his hostility.

Kriel ran, charging directly towards Pororo.

In his eyes, Pororo was the first target to be dealt with. The blue-purple lightning was far too lethal to him.

He was also the only person he could attack.

The moment Kriel moved, the heavy pressure around him instantly eased.

Several vines shot forward once again, and a vast amount of mist threatened to fill the surrounding space.

The heavy pressure collided once again, and the resulting air waves spread outward, pushing the spreading pink mist away once again.

Facing the vines that threatened to bind him again, Kriel simply clenched his fist and pressed them to the ground, and the pressure was instantly relieved.

But the vines could no longer keep up with his speed.

After a few simple rounds of fighting, he had basically grasped the strength of these men.

At the same time, a sense of crisis emerged in his heart.

These men possessed multiple treasures, and Alka was definitely not the only one.

"Roar!"

Facing Kriel's approach, Pororo roared, and the runes on his body immediately emitted a blue light.

Blue-gray lightning began to wrap around him.

Scarlet pupils appeared in his eyes, and the strange scales that grew from his belt began to spread even more.

Even barbs sprouted from his body.

He charged directly at Kriel.

At this moment, six fine needles pierced Pororo's back, merging with his scales and carapace. Hidden within, they infused energy and healed his injuries.

Six more needles were hidden in the surrounding mist, ready to heal at any moment.

The two collided instantly.

This time, Kriel seemed to be surrounded by an invisible shield.

Pororo's attack collided with this invisible wall of air, and then a tremendous pressure pressed down on him.

Kriel punched Pororo once again, pinning him to the ground.

Pororo lifted his left arm to block the attack, only for it to be crushed against his body with a resounding crack.

The impact ripped the carapace from the body, sending shards of flesh and blood flying. The blood, too much to scatter, was crushed to the ground, leaving behind circular spots.

At that moment, a multitude of vines sprang up from beneath his feet, encircling Kriel's legs.

Countless pink mists spread.

Following the mists, six fine needles pierced Pororo's body once again.

More life energy surged in.

Instantly, Pororo's injuries were healed, but Kriel continued his attack.

He had to take one out first to relieve the pressure.

Even at the risk of serious injury.

No!

A blue meteor streaked across the sky.

"Bang!"

With the immense force of the impact, Kriel was flung far away.

Once again, he was bound by vines in mid-air, and the blue meteor struck him again.

This time, the vines were torn apart along with him, crashing directly onto the floor. Numerous vines snapped, revealing the cracked floor beneath them.

The pressure within a five-meter radius pressed down again.

Kriel raised his blood-soaked head, clutching his left arm, and tremblingly stood up.

Drops of blood flowed from his mouth as he coughed.

He was once again affected by the pink mist, but that wasn't the issue at hand.

He steadied himself.

"Have you mastered a scepter-level artifact?" he asked, looking at Sofia, who appeared five meters away, a flash of blue light.

This outrageous power was simply beyond the reach of a fourth-stage cultivator possessing just one or two treasures.

Furthermore, the moment they collided, he felt his treasure being suppressed.

This power surpassed the capabilities of someone who had barely established themselves in the fourth stage and hadn't yet reached a break.

Both speed and strength reached peak levels.

Even though he knew Sofia was the most threatening, the problem was that, in most situations, he simply couldn't do anything about him.

He was too fast, too agile.

The pervasive pink mist limited his speed, forcing him to constantly create pressure and collisions to push the mist back.

Unless he could fully focus on dealing with Sofia, he could only add one more person.

But these four combined were interfering in various ways, forcing him to expend most of his energy negating these influences.

He had to find time to collide his airwaves with each other, generating widespread shockwaves to push the pink mist away. Otherwise, this pink mist would be pervasive. Even if it couldn't drag him into a dream, it would still affect his mind.

‐‐ It would completely cloud his judgment, putting him at a complete disadvantage, making it impossible for him to even fully utilize his current strength.

‐‐ He might even make a completely wrong judgment, putting himself in danger.

‐‐And those damn vines, he had to constantly find the right opportunity to push down extensively to prevent them from interfering with him.

‐‐Pororo, the one in charge of the attack.

‐‐ Speaking of Pororo, he suddenly looked up.

‐‐Even after enduring such a powerful attack, an ordinary fourth-stage Pororo would have been pulverized to dust.

‐‐But although Pororo looked incredibly miserable, he still managed to stand up.

‐‐The injuries on his body were healing visibly.

‐‐So one treasure was that destructive lightning, and the other was a powerful self-healing ability? Kriel judged this.

Only Pororo had suffered serious injuries at this stage of the battle; Alka and Sofia were barely injured.

The other, seriously injured, Matresha had enveloped herself in a thick cocoon, controlling a vast array of vines to attack.

So he had no idea that Matresha had long since recovered, but remained cloaked in her cocoon.

Her contribution to the battle lay in her ability to remotely control fine needles for healing and the vines that permeated the battlefield.

There was no need for her to expose her true form and become a target.

This behavior led Kriel to misjudge the powerful healing effect, believing it was another of Pororo's treasures.

As for Sofia's, he suspected it was a scepter-level artifact, emitting a blue glow.

He had seen the natural golden glow before.

Alka's treasures remained the pink mist he had seen before, along with a mirror that could be created at will and even teleported.

A brief recollection and judgment took a second or two.

Maintaining the five-meter pressure range, he moved a short distance to the side and arrived at the throne.

"Are you ready to sit on your throne before you die?"

Alka's figure emerged from the mist. The moment he emerged, Kriel unhesitatingly threw a punch in his direction.

The pressure from the air bomb instantly shattered a large cloud of mist.

Alka's figure remained a phantom.

After dodging numerous beams of light, Kriel arrived behind the two guards who had previously been completely lost in their dream.

"Give your lives for me now."

With these words, he pressed his hands down, a scent of sulfur mingling with the crimson.

An ominous odor emanated from the two guards. "Using the power of these demons isn't a good idea," Sofia said, watching the scene.

The smell was all too familiar to them.

"But it works, doesn't it?"

The bloody smell startled the two guards awake from their dreams and they screamed violently, their entire bodies trembling and struggling.

Their bodies even began to bend strangely.

Two long horns sprouted from their foreheads, a pair of broad bat wings spread out, and their skin was bright red.

The two soldiers, transformed into demons, stood up, their massive bodies already shattering the armor they once wore.

They picked up their former weapons and grasped them.

"Oh, the outside world feels so good," one of the demons said, twisting his neck.

"I need blood. I'm hungry." The other one smiled a bloodthirsty smile.

Kriel looked at the two demons. "According to the contract, each of you must hold one."

"Damn human! Don't order me around."

As soon as he finished speaking, he felt a pain in his forehead.

"A mortal who's taking advantage of the power of others." Despite his words, he still raised his sword.

The flames of the abyss flowed down his arm, igniting the blade.

These two demons were clearly not transformed from humans, but rather reborn within human bodies through the use of long-established rituals.

The two demons turned to look at Sofia and frowned.

"Leave this woman to you. I'll go kill that big guy," said one of the demons with spiky horns.

He pointed at the now-recovered Pororo.

He felt that this large creature posed a far greater threat than a woman. The other one curled his lips and spat at the ground, but still nodded.

"Fool, I'll deal with the woman. Your target is the one hiding in the fog," Kriel cursed.

"Don't order me around, human. I'll kill whomever I want!" Even though the two demons were only at the mid-fourth stage, they were still unceremonious against Kriel.

But a demon without a treasure couldn't pose much of a threat to them.

Despite his words, he still looked at the pink mist that permeated the surroundings.

Looking at the swirling pink mist, his eyes widened, and the hand gripping his sword trembled. Even the flame on the blade suddenly died down.

"What are you doing?" his companion asked, seeing the demon like this.

"Yes, yes..."

"Have we met somewhere before?" Alka's figure suddenly emerged from the mist.

"It's you!" the demon screamed in terror, as if it had witnessed something terrifying.

Without hesitation, he slashed his own neck with a backhanded strike.

Instantly, a demon's head fell to the ground.

This strange scene shocked everyone present.

The entire battle arena fell into an eerie silence.

The remaining demon, watching his companion's sudden suicide, seemed to have a thought.

His eyes widened.

"Damn it, damned mortal, damned Devourer!"

Then, he suddenly raised his blade and plunged it into his own heart.

Boiling lava blood flowed from his body.

He, too, committed suicide without hesitation.

The two demonic bodies lying on the ground began to slowly change, becoming dry and withered. But it hadn't completely transformed into the human corpse it had just been.

Kriel frowned, this scene already giving him a very bad premonition. He looked at Alka, who had emerged from the mist.

He threw another punch.

This time, the air bomb was unexpectedly blocked by several layers of mirrors.

A vast amount of mist gushed outward frantically, and the surrounding mirrors revealed a bizarre world.

"It seems you've run out of tricks. It's time to end it now."

Alka's strength skyrocketed.

At some point, his strength had even surpassed that of Kriel, who had reached the fifth stage.

Feeling the pressure coming from Alka, Kriel knew this was their hidden trick.

A large amount of mist rushed directly through the pressure layer, instantly enveloping Kriel with its sheer number.

The mist began to surge into his body, affecting his spirit.

The necklace around his neck and the headband on his head were gleaming with intense light, their power at full blast. But judging by the precariousness of their two objects, it seemed he couldn't hold out much longer.

"Get out of here!" Kriel roared fiercely, the immense pressure seeming to push the mist away.

He stopped the vast mass of mist at his feet, preventing it from invading even a little.

But it was too late.

The fog once again clouded his judgment, and before he knew it, his lower body was tightly entangled in thick vines.

Pororo, having almost recovered, rushed in front of him.

Behind him was a blue meteor.

"Boom!"

Blue lightning shattered the building overhead, creating a narrow crack that allowed a bolt of lightning to strike down.

The impact of the intense blue light struck him directly behind.

...

Outside the hall.

Jason and the others who remained outside, along with Balazs, continuously dealt with the guards who were rushing in for support.

A large number of crystal ice sculptures filled the entire corridor.

Sealed within were soldiers of various forms.

Many more soldiers fell at their feet, their blood staining the entire floor red.

Seeing a soldier with a large wound, Jason turned him over and sealed the wound with a crystal.

Then he punched him in the head again, knocking him unconscious.

"Thank you," Balazs said from the side.

"You're welcome, if you can help it. No one wants to kill for no reason."

These soldiers were generally around the second level, and it was difficult for them to pose any threat.

Juanlu looked at the soldiers outside.

"Okay, just stand there and don't come over. Think about your families and your children.

Is it worth throwing your life away for such a tyrant? Now you have a better heir, a legitimate prince, right?"

"You've demonstrated your loyalty. Now stop right there."

As soon as he finished speaking, the entire floor shook violently again.

After stabilizing himself, Simon turned to look at the massive door, which was now covered in cracks. "The fighting inside is quite intense."

Just as he finished speaking, there was another violent shaking and a loud bang.

The intensity of the battle inside was so intense that even the soldiers outside couldn't help but wipe the sweat from their foreheads nervously.

If they rushed through, they would have to rush through the gate.

The fighting inside might have been completely beyond their ability to handle.

"Damn it! Charge forward!"

Suddenly, a fierce roar was heard.

A figure rushed out from behind the soldiers, charging directly towards Juanlu and the others at an extremely fast speed.

"It's Andak, another fifth-level warrior, loyal to Kriel."

Facing the charging figure, Jason rushed forward without hesitation.

At this moment, his body was gleaming with crystal scales, and he had clearly transformed into a dragonman.
