Chapter 386 - 386. Three Treasures

After Alka carefully examined everyone's treasures, although he didn't have the precise tools of Shadow Robe to discern the connections between them, he was still able to roughly assess the condition of the treasures through some details. He then discovered that most of the treasures, in his opinion, were in relatively perfect condition.

Simon's treasured index finger came from the Church of the Holy Machine. Its quality was reliable, requiring little reforging.

From the symbolism of its appearance to its construction, the materials used were perfectly suited.

Simon was also quite satisfied with his treasure and didn't dislike it. To Simon, a delicate hand, while also a treasure, wasn't truly a treasure.

Apart from that, the situation was similar for most of the others.

Juanlu and Matresa's original treasures were forged by Alka and his team, suited to their usage habits and made of materials that had been carefully selected by the two of them.

While Juanlu's artifact certainly lacked symbolic significance, its material was flawless.

Most importantly, it suited his personal usage habits.

This was truly crucial; suiting his personal usage habits was clearly more beneficial than simply altering the appearance for symbolic meaning.

And Matresa's new seed was also absolutely perfect.

With its perfect symbolic significance and the addition of a carrier seed, it was no ordinary seed. Just like the cloak before, it was a perfectly integrated entity.

Even attempting to separate them would have involved immense risk.

As a result, the only minor flaws left were Alka's mirror and Julia's coin.

These flaws were minor and didn't affect their use.

Clearly, both were satisfied with the appearance of these two artifacts.

The only significant flaw was the flag, and the reason for this was that the carrier was essentially just a tattered flag.

Moreover, the symbolic meaning was clearly wrong.

But the flag was too bound to Lucilia to be separated hastily.

Therefore, smelting the treasures was pointless.

They focused their attention on the three new divine essences.

The box containing the divine essences was placed on the table, surrounded by Sofia and the others.

Alka looked at the group and said, "Come on, try them one by one, very gently. Touch them with the magic power enveloping the treasures and you'll know."

At this moment, he was using his own magic to briefly suppress the three divine essences before him.

This was to prevent Sofia and the others from disturbing the divine essences with their magic power. After all, the divine essences were not particularly stable.

Not to mention that they had only just been separated.

Everyone nodded and began to approach, taking turns touching them with their magic power.

Testing which divine essence was right for them.

Of these, the brown divine essence was undoubtedly the most compatible with Juanlu's treasure.

It even seemed as if they were originally connected within the system of rules.

This divine essence was separated from the crystal stone, and this treasure was previously obtained from the pirate who devoured corpses and absorbed energy.

The two treasures' appearances alone were highly similar.

Alka walked over, closed the box containing the divine essence, and set it aside.

The reason for testing the compatibility of the divine essences was to create equipment that met everyone's needs.

This was the only way to maximize their effectiveness.

And the sphere emitting purple light was surprisingly a perfect match for Jason.

You have to know that this was touched with magic, and his magic was also entwined with the magic of Urulius. This meant it was also compatible with Crystal Dragons.

Could it be that Jason was finally about to master a true treasure after such a long time?

The last dark green one, the divine essence separated from the treasure that Alka had disdained, was actually compatible with Pororo.

At this point, each of the three divine essences had found a suitable target.

Alka and Simon stepped forward.

"Juanlu, go first. What kind of equipment do you want?" Alka asked.

Juanlu frowned as he looked at the box on the table. He struggled to think, inexplicably becoming confused.

"Can you give me a general idea of the properties of this divine essence?"

Understanding the properties and abilities allows for better thinking.

Alka nodded and said, "If your current treasure's characteristics are eating and digestion, then this divine essence probably manifests itself as a simple bite.

The energy absorption caused by the pirate's previous use was actually a side effect."

Hearing this, Juanlu seemed to have an idea, and a smile appeared on his face.

"Can you help me make it like this?" Juanlu asked, and one of the spheres floating above the stick appeared in his hand.

The sphere expanded into a spherical monster with a giant mouth that took up most of the sphere.

Hearing this, Alka and Simon instantly understood Juanlu's idea.

He wanted to create an identical one and hide it among the three.

This would definitely give the enemy a surprise in battle.

After all, who would have thought that the effect of using a treasure would contain another treasure?

"Very interesting, a great idea!" The two were also very interested. "Then let's do it."

Then Alka looked at Pororo beside him and, this time, directly told him what he knew about the dark green essence.

"This essence is very straightforward: it strengthens the user's physical fitness, especially their senses.

But there are some side effects, similar to changes in appearance. You've seen that huge, muscular man before, the one with no facial features and a mouth on his stomach.

This is his treasure. Before the essence was separated, the side effect was a mouth on his stomach."

Later, Alka studied it and found that the changes weren't fixed. It was just that the treasure was too simple, causing the changes to be slightly deformed and exaggerated.

Hearing this, Pororo nodded nonchalantly. His aesthetic sense was clearly sometimes different from that of normal life forms.

At least, in some cases, it was different from theirs.

"Isn't that quite handsome?"

"Okay, fine. As long as you can accept it." All that can be said is that he has indeed met a suitable master.

Could it be that the artifact can also detect the user's level of acceptance?

"So, what kind of equipment would you like?" Alka asked, looking at Pororo.

To be honest, it's a little hard to imagine, since Pororo doesn't wear armor or carry weapons.

Wearing a necklace or a ring would bother him.

Only something like a wristband would be suitable.

"It was a belt before, right? Let's make it into a belt too." Pororo pondered for a moment, deciding to let him return to his roots.

The previous belt was indeed a bit sloppily done.

The two nodded.

Then he looked at Jason. Urulius's voice echoed beside him through some kind of magical transmission.

"I don't know why it's appropriate, but this artifact enhances the ritual. I can't quite grasp the specific meaning of it," Alka said with a hint of resignation.

The characteristic of the dagger before was its ability to enhance rituals.

A ritual is the effect produced by combining multiple spells.

Clearly, such a treasure is more suited to those who use spells in combat.

Or perhaps it's more suitable for logistics or something like that.

Perhaps it's more suitable for scholars like Lucelia?

However, due to her physical condition, Lucelia is clearly obsessed with the art of assassination. This is actually a helpless situation.

"Enhancement ritual?" Jason repeated, frowning.

Clearly, the effect doesn't seem to suit him.

"Make it like the crystal on my body, and hide it on my body when the time comes," Ululius said.

Hearing this, Alka nodded.

Clearly, this treasure is more suited to Ululius's divine essence.

There's no such thing as useless or unsuitable.

You have to remember that Urulius is still just a young dragon, and her attacks have always consisted of rainbow crystal spit.

And melee combat with her own limbs.

They haven't yet demonstrated their greater power to the crowd, and these people are wrong.

"Then everyone, please disband. Simon and I will study this."

Everyone nodded and left the captain's cabin.

Alka and Simon began to discuss and design the three artifacts and the crowd's requests.

Once they had a rough idea, they would consult with the artifact's owner to make more detailed changes.

They would then exchange ideas and coordinate on some minor damage adjustments.

After all, sometimes materials also have to be considered.

Then, they would look at the design drawings and search for suitable materials that could be compatible with these divine essences, and they had to be high-quality materials.

Thankfully, they had just made a fortune and were not short of money.

Just pull the best one.

After obtaining the materials, there were meticulous adjustments and discussions before the final result was decided.

Then it was time to forge it.

Luckily, Alka and the others all had enough experience; this wasn't their first time, after all.

Time flew by as the three treasures came and went.

"Let's take a look. They should be very similar, right?" Alka asked, placing the sphere in Juanlu's hand.

Juanlu held the sphere up and compared it to the three floating on his treasure staff.

They were almost identical; even Juanlu had to examine them closely for a long time before he could detect the subtle differences.

He nodded in satisfaction.

"Similar. Very similar."

"Since they're similar, let's start mastering them," Alka said, taking a slight step back.

The onlookers also retreated.

After all, three treasures were to be mastered today, so of course they had to be watched closely.

Juanlu enveloped the treasure with his own magic power and quickly sensed the connection between them.

A brown aura emanated from his body, forming a monster with a gaping mouth.

Everyone could feel the sharp teeth in the monster's mouth.

Thanks to the appropriate fit and the right carrier, Juanlu quickly mastered the treasure.

However, he did not take the treasure into his body. Instead, he controlled the sphere to float on his staff.

It joined the three slowly floating spheres.

There were four in total, slowly circling. At least to Alka and the others, it looked almost identical.

Magic burst forth.

Juanlu raised his staff and swung it, sending four spheres flying. They expanded in mid-air into monsters the size of human heads with gaping mouths.

A closer look revealed them to be rather adorable.

Alka patted himself, wondering why he'd been inexplicably influenced by Pororo.

Thanks to Alka and his team's special design, the four giant-mouthed monsters looked almost identical.

This was actually the treasure they'd put the most effort into, as the appearance had to be replicated to a certain degree.

Alka wasn't sure if the others could tell, but he immediately noticed that one of the four monsters posed an unusually dangerous impression.

A pure bite, bringing pure lethality.

The added ability also enhanced the absorption capacity of Juanlu's original treasure. The two complemented each other perfectly.

He watched Juanlu experiment with his new treasure. Alka handed the belt to Pororo, who was standing beside him.

This belt was custom-made specifically for Pororo, allowing it to expand and contract according to his body shape.

The belt had a slightly exaggerated design, heavily engraved with metal, covered in patterns of lightning and seagod waves.

A dark green, emerald-like relief of a shark's head was carved into the center of the belt.

Pororo examined it carefully for a long moment before nodding with satisfaction. He slipped it on his waist and channeled his magic power into it.

He could see the magic flow smoothly.

One after another, green lines began to spread along his body, like blood vessels.

As he grasped it, the belt slowly sank into his body, leaving only the shark's head relief on Pororo's waist.

However, the equipment's appearance clearly didn't need to be hidden, so Pororo reappeared and wore it.

The dark green lines on his body also disappeared.

"No changes to his appearance?" Alka asked, looking at Pororo curiously.

He must have seen correctly; physical enhancements should bring about physical changes.

Pororo nodded, "Yes, but the changes only occur when I use the power of the treasure."

As he spoke, magic power surged into the belt, and the shark head relief in the center of the belt flickered with a faint green light.

Pororo's appearance was gray, with a hint of blue.

But as he used the treasure, dark green scales appeared on his body. First, they appeared at the corners of his eyes, then spread behind his ears.

Scales also appeared on his shoulders near his spine, extending all the way to the shark fin on his back.

The fins had also changed, becoming more pointed and even covered with a kind of cuticle.

This made the once friendly-looking Pororo appear somewhat ferocious, more like a monster.

The changes continued until a tail sprouted from Pororo's back.

A long, thin tail covered in green scales extended outward, with a structure resembling a tail club at the end.

A dark green scale pattern appeared on his calves.

These were the complete changes to his body size.

Jason looked at the newly grown tail. "Are you sure this is a side effect?"

He asked Alka with a look of disbelief.

Faced with this situation, Alka simply shrugged. "I'm talking about growing extra limbs and changing the body.

Whether that's good or bad isn't up to me."

He looked at Pororo and said, "Congratulations! It looks like the change is for the better."

Anyone with a discerning eye could see that the tail had clearly become a very effective means of attack.

However, Pororo looked at the tail growing behind him with a strange expression.

"That's weird! How do I control this tail?" He said as the tail behind him began to sway wildly.

Everyone quickly retreated.

It seemed like a physical enhancement had caused

The tail danced like a heavy hammer, its swings making a powerful, air-breaking sound.

If it had hit anyone, they would have been covered in bruises.

"Sorry, I can't control it," Pororo said uncomfortably.

It was like having two hands and suddenly growing another. You had no idea how to control it, so you could only wave it around randomly.

"Haha, I'll teach you, I'll teach you!" Urulius, standing on the deck, said hurriedly.

As he spoke, he swayed slightly, letting his crystal tail swing back and forth, controlling it with ease.

After all, Urulius was the only one of them with a tail.

If you had to say it, Julia's fish tail was more like legs.

The same was true of Matresa's snake tail.

Pororo's transformation was more like growing another tail.

"Thank you. If I can control it, that would be great," Pororo said, looking at his tail.

Even though he was swinging it randomly now, he could clearly feel the impact of his tail.

It was like having an extra hand behind his back, and this hand also had a heavy hammer weapon.

He turned his attention away from his tail and looked at his hands, feeling his heightened senses.

"My physique and strength seem to be increasing further based on my magic power."

He clenched his right fist and swung it fiercely towards the seashore.

A large amount of magic power suddenly converged in Pororo's right hand, and a distinct green light could be felt as he swung it.

A powerful force struck out.

A thud was heard breaking through the air.

The wind from his fist, carrying air pressure, slammed into the sea, stirring up huge waves.

From this point, everyone could feel the changes brought about by the power.

"Where's mine?" Urulius asked, eagerly leaning forward.

"Don't worry." Alka took the transparent colored crystal from the remaining box and handed it to Jason.

Jason looked at the transparent crystal in his hand. Under the sunlight, the center of the crystal shone with a dazzling rainbow of light.

It was exactly the same as the crystal pillar that had grown from Urulius' body.

"Let's infuse it with magic together," Jason said, handing it over.

Urulius nodded, raised his dragon claw, and touched the crystal with one claw.

They closed their eyes and infused their magic into it together.

The crystal shone with a multicolored light, but the purple hue was the strongest.

Everyone shielded their eyes slightly; the light was indeed a bit dazzling.

But soon, the light dimmed and faded. Jason looked at the crystal in his hand, then watched it sink into his palm.

A transparent crystal lay in his palm.

He slowly manipulated the crystal out again, and Urulius took it. The crystal also sank into her body.

A patch of hair on Urulius's back suddenly broke, and a crystal grew out. It looked identical to the surrounding crystals, making it impossible to distinguish them.

"So, what is this treasure for you? You said you had a surprise for me. Now, can you reveal it?"

Urulius nodded.

"Do you know what position my race held among the dragons in ancient times?"

"Scholars and recorders, or perhaps saviors?" Jason replied.

This was all he knew, and he had learned it from his previous dragon instructor.

"During the Golden Age, we served as scholars and record-keepers within our tribe."

The Golden Age is a general term for the period before the War of Gods.

Because at that time, even gods walked the earth.

It was the most prosperous time in the world.
