She had no idea that every demon she had hidden throughout the village was already dead.
Nolan simply looked at her and smiled.
"Now then," he said calmly.
"Tell me again what leverage you think you have."
She smiled again, unfazed. "Didn't you heard what I just said? Huh? Tell me, don't you just want everyone else to live their life? I know you're a kind person," she said confidently.
Nolan said, "So how are you going to do that?"
She paused. She noticed she couldn't feel any demons in the village anymore — the ones that were supposed to attack. She couldn't sense their energy. It was gone.
