Archangel Michael smiled.
"Well then, Nolan, we'll be watching your journey."
"Your life, your adventure, it's only just beginning."
The space around Nolan began to fade.
His body grew lighter.
"See you soon," Michael added.
The light consumed everything
And in the next moment
Nolan's eyes snapped open.
Nolan slowly opened his eyes.
The room was dark.
"It's already night," he muttered.
A knock came from the door.
He didn't even turn his head.
"Come in."
The door opened.
Celia, Lyra, and Linda walked in, carrying a tray of food.
"Master, we brought you something to eat," they said with warm smiles.
They walked closer and sat beside him on the bed.
Nolan reached out to take the tray
But they pulled it back slightly.
"No, no, no," Linda said quickly.
"We'll feed you."
Nolan blinked.
"Why"
"Give it to me. I have my hands. I can eat by myself."
"No," Celia said, shaking her head.
"Master, say ah," Linda added, holding a spoon toward his mouth.
