How brave are you when it comes to breaking something that was never meant to be broken?
None should be allowed to cross a line. That would be a taboo, in some way or another.
My life has been exactly like that.
I have made a taboo. A great sin, if one could point it out.
"Cough… cough…"
Coughing up some blood onto my white bed sheet, I stared down at my own wrinkled hands.
The skin had twisted, gone saggy in a way which would be called the complete opposite of beauty.
I never actually preferred to be called a beauty. But somehow, it still pains my chest to look at them.
"...I will not survive past this winter."
I stared outside this small house which I had built with my own two hands. There was a small hole in the wall where the cold air came through, along with some snow, which looked so beautiful and fluffy that it made me want to run out and bury my face into it.
But my heart would give out if I even dared to step outside.
"...God, I am hungry."
