Walking towards his apartment, clover starts thinking about his last shift at the bar.
*sneering*
I swear those jack-asses won't keep their hands to themselves,
I had to kick out 3 drunktards in the first three hours. He sighs.
I swear I'm gonna quit that waiter job on Monday.
taking out his keys he unlocks his door grumbling under his breath.
Turning on the light he throws his stuff to the ground, closing the door he tiredly stumbles into his room. throwing himself on the bed, he immediately falls asleep.
Hearing a loud crash, he Jumps awake and starts to panic.
what the fuck was that!?
Grabbing the bat from the corner of his room and slowly checks his flat. Walking towards the living room, he starts to see a small figure on the ground. while turning on the lights he starts threatening the tiny intruder.
" I suggest you leave my flat immediately! Cause I'm going to be calling the police"
When the lights turn on, he Mumbles under his breath. confused, he puts his bat down.
"What the hell??… what are you doing her, better yet how did you get in here?" Clover asked.
The person who was sitting on his couch, with a sandwich in hand, was the little girl from the other night.
"Hello again, I'm gonna be staying with you from now on"
hearing this clover figured that she ran away again but that doesn't explain how she got inside his apartment and how she even new were he lived.
" sweetheart, how do you get in, better yet, how'd know were I live?"
Walking over to her, clover sits beside her on the couch, waiting for an answer.
Talking stupidly fast, she starts to explain how she got in.
" well that's easy, when my dad took me home he got really mad talking about how I was in so much trouble and how I would be grounded for a millennia." She exclaims dramatically, taking a bite out of her sandwich. "Obviously not wanting to be stuck doing nothing for eternity, I left again when he fell asleep.
When I was wandering around I saw you walking home so I figured I'd follow you back home. And you didn't lock your door when you got in so I just followed you"
Clover takes a deep breath, remembering how he only walked in and went straight to sleep because of exhaustion.
Of course I had to forget to lock the door. he sighs,
looking at her with a serious face clover said.
" you know how dangerous it is to follow me home, you could have gotten hurt by someone or even taken. You should know better then to not run away. And, considering you would be in an even worse situation if I wasn't there to help you the first time you ran away"
getting scolded the little girl had a hurt look on her face
He sighs even harder, rubbing his temples. How can you break into my home and still give me that bullied puppy look??
With a defeated look on his face, he calms down and sits next to her.
"Well I guess what happened, happened so now all I need to do is get into contact with your dad"
and scold him on how to watch you better.
realizing he still doesn't know this girls name he finally asked.
"What's your name? I Can't call you sweetheart forever"
The girl looks up, also remembers that she never introduced herself to him.
" well my name is Amelia, my dad's name is maverick, and my brother's name is Matteo"
still talking at the speed of light, clover surprised himself with the fact that he could even understand what she just said.
"alright Amelia, can you tell me where you live or even by chance, your dads phone number?"
He said while standing up to stretch.
"I'll tell you his phone number " with a disappointed look on her face, she told clover her Dad's number.
"Alright Then, I'll be calling your father"
" okay"
with the adrenaline rush finally leaving his senses, clover feels the exhaustion coming back to him in a quick wave. He takes a minute to think about the situation that's happening, glancing back towards Amelia. He can't help but wonder why she's wearing such hot clothes considering it's mid January.
Looking her up and down, his eyes catches her feet. Well what should be feet but is instead a pair of poorly hidden hooves.
His eyes widened at the sight, shocked, not being able to even describe the emotions he's experiencing right now.
Trying to come up with reasons in his head of why the little 5-6 year old that's in his house right now has hooves, he nervously asks her the reason.
" um... Amelia. why... do you have hooves?"
Surprisingly, she looked up at him smiling while kicking her hooves.
" well your not supposed to know but I like you so I'll tell you my biiiiiig secret"
with a long pause she whispers
" I'm a demon (＾▽＾)".
"....."
"..."
"What?"
Confused and distraught, he doesn't even know how to react. his mind jumbled with questions on how this is possible and better yet, why this happened to him out of all people.
Pacing back and forth he starts to ask Amelia more about herself,
to elaborate and explain what in the hell she meant when she said demon of all things.
Before clover can start questioning the little demon, he hears a loud knocking coming from his door.
He jumps from the noise, his nerves on end, silently freaking out from the weird stuff that's happening. His stomach drops hearing the words spoken from Amelia.
"Looks like my dad is here"
Amelia says pouting.
Freaking out clover runs to the door knowing now that it's still not locked.
just when he was about to lock the door, the door nob twisted open.
with the door thrown wide open, clover can see maverick in his entirety.
" um.... I don't know what you demons want from me but I suggest you stay the hell away from me!!"
With a shaky voice, clover nervously walks backwards keeping this giant man in sight.
Clover can see the demon ogling him like a peace of meat, with a giant smirk on his face. The same gut feeling he had last night came back with full force.
" well it's not like we choose you in particular-"
The demon pauses, stopping sentence.
" well it's not like i choose you"
he said while taking a step closer towards clover, causing him to slowly move back away from him.
" you, little human, so happen to catch the eye of a veerry troublesome child"
getting backed up to into a corner, clover started tearing up in fear. desperate to live, he shuts up to try and appease the demon closing in on him.
"DAD! you big meany! leave clover alone,and stop bullying him!!!!"
glancing at the screaming child both adults look at her with different looks in their eyes. One worried and the other annoyed.
" don't worry, I won't kill him. seeing as you've taking a liking to him as well as I,
I won't kill him. instead we'll just be staying with clover until we figure out the situation you've just put us in"
hearing what this demon suggested, clover wanted to scream to the mountain tops in disagreement. with hatred in his heart he cursed this demon, knowing that if he voiced his reluctance he would be killed.
