Korra fidgeted with her hands, unable to bear the suspense any longer.
"So, Nadia..." She said hesitantly. "What do you think about all of this? I've said everything."
Her voice grew smaller, sadder.
"If you want to break off our relationship right now, I'll accept it. I won't like it—I'll hate it—but I'll understand why you would do it."
She looked entirely devastated, as if her entire world's about to slide down a steep cliff.
She's proud of her own honesty, but the terror of losing her anchor's tearing her apart.
Yet, the catastrophic fallout she've prepared for never materialized.
Nadia stared at her for a long, quiet moment, before letting out a soft sigh and gently shaking her head.
"Why're you speaking as if I'm going to break up my relationship with you, Korra?" Nadia asked calmly.
Korra was baffled before finally she asked,
"You're...You're not?"
"Of course I'm not." Nadia replied, rolling her eyes slightly. "Why on earth would I do something like that?"
