Every eye in the clearing remained fixed on the sky, frozen in disbelief. Because what they were looking at was a freaking DRAGON!
It was enormous, its scales shifting between deep silver and patches of near-black. It crashed down behind Atlas with bone-shaking force, the ground cracking beneath its claws, then unleashed a roar that thundered through every chest in the clearing.
Soldiers stumbled backward. A few instinctively dropped to their knees, hands clamped over their ears.
There was no mistaking who it belonged to. The way it settled behind Atlas, folding its wings before lowering its massive head toward him, made everything perfectly clear.
"This," Atlas said, "is one of my subordinates."
An SS-Rank character he had pulled from the gacha earlier that very day. In fact, even Atlas had not seen him fight yet.
He paused, letting the silence linger just long enough to sink in.
"Tharion Halcyon. Sentinel of the Forgotten Age."
