Chapter 158 - ???

'The Low, Middle, and High god-tiers can all be reached through accumulating energy and deepening one's comprehension of laws.'

'In contrast, the True god-tier can only be attained when a God-spirit forms a Law Seed within their Divine Spark, achieved through high-level comprehension of their law.'

'The moment a God-spirit achieves True god-tier, their divine spark transforms to a world origin of a Middle World.'

'With this as a foundation, True Gods continue to deepen their law comprehension, nurturing their world origin until it fully forms a complete Middle World.'

'Once the Middle World is perfected, True Gods can begin making preparations to become Master Gods.'

.

'You fear your worshippers and territory can be destroyed, weakening your strength and divine spark, pathetic!'

'Uz, you should have stayed hidden in your little hole... perhaps then you wouldn't have angered me.'

.

'Although the Faith path is often looked down upon because its foundation depends on believers and territory, that doesn't mean it lacks advantage.'

'One of its greatest strengths is that anyone who gathers enough faith can become God-spirits.'

'That is precisely why many Law path God-spirits are furious of it.'

'They're geniuses who stand above billions, yet they get to share the glory of God-spirits with lifeforms who are only exceptional in leading a bunch of mortals to acquire divinity.'

'In truth, those on the Law path who scorn it are usually mediocre in leading others, or the faith they built up is insignificant.'

.

Dropping the last record gem, Zhou Zhou let out a long breath.

"God-spirits... truly extraordinary."

"I can't wait for my subjects and I to become one."

A gleam of anticipation flashed in his eyes.

.

"How was it?"

Zhao Changshou asked his disciple.

"The gravel and sand reserves are sufficient to last us for quite some time."

"However, exporting them to other factions would significantly reduce that duration."

Qian Du reported.

"I understand. I will relay that information to the Vice lord."

"In the meantime, assist Yan Fang in supervising the new structures."

Zhao Changshou said.

"Yes, master."

Qian Du bowed and took his leave.

.

"Ten units of meat per Black iron-tier mist core is the standard market price."

Hui Teng sat across the Director of Agricultural for Mingguang City, Aurora Kingdom as he spoke.

"We're even offering twelve units of meat for that same amount."

"This could be the best deal your city sees for years to come."

He said to Director Zheng.

"We have a long-standing partnership with our suppliers."

Director Zheng replied calmly.

"We can't accept a loss for the sake of an extra two units of meat."

"I'm afraid we'll have to decline your offer."

Hui Teng remained composed.

"We also have White silver-tier meat available."

Director Zheng paused, visibly surprised.

Hui Teng continued.

"However, we will only proceed with a trade if you are willing to take the Black iron-tier meat as well."

Leaning forward slightly, Director Zheng asked.

"How much White silver-tier meat do you have for sale?"

Based on his research, Hui Teng knew that even the royal family and noble houses in the capital of Aurora Kingdom consumed only about 10,000 units of White silver-tier meat per month.

So, he set a reasonable figure.

"We can supply 4,000 units of White silver-tier meat," he said, "along with an additional 20,000 units of Green bronze-tier meats and 80,000 units of Black iron-tier meats."

"4,000 units..."

Director Zheng muttered, stunned.

"At the standard price?"

"Of course."

"We're here strictly for trade."

Hui Teng added.

"We're not trying to build influence through exclusive dealings with the royal or noble houses."

With over five million units of White silver-tier meat stored in the city's warehouses, he had no need to curry favor with anyone.

Finalizing the trade deal a couple of minutes later, he received another visitor, after Zheng's exit.

"Vice lord Hui, how have you been?"

Giving a slight bow after stepping the office, Zhao Changshou greeted.

"Busy, as always."

"And your, Elder Zhao?"

Hui Teng responded before reciprocating.

"Just as busy."

Zhao Changshou said with a faint smile.

"Fortunately, our growth has kept pace with the expansion of the lord's territory."

He added.

"How are the resource yields outside the city?"

Hui Teng asked after the Chief Architect of the City took his seat.

"Still insufficient for export."

"We may need to acquire more from Sunshine City."

Zhao Changshou replied.

"I see..."

Hui Teng nodded thoughtfully.

"Then I'll need to speak with Bao Xiu'er again."

He rose to his feet.

"Shall we go together?"

He suggested to Zhao Changshou.

"Of course."

Zhao Changshou agreed.

.

A short while later, they arrived at the Blazing City Reserve in a sandstrider, also known as a ground mechanostrider.

"We will meet you at the parking lot when we're done."

Hui Teng told Ji Xen before stepping into the building alongside Zhao Changshou.

"Welcome, Vice lord Hui."

"Welcome, Chief Zhao."

Rodo, the Chief Accountant of Blazing City Reserve, bowed slightly in greeting.

"The Director is waiting in her office."

He added, leading them toward the elevator.
