Luca turned around slowly, already having a fairly good idea of who had called his name, and his suspicion was confirmed when a familiar blue-haired figure came hurrying across the academy grounds toward him. Seraphina's expression was considerably less irritated than the last time they had met, although the way she approached him suggested that she had already prepared several questions that she intended to ask before allowing him to disappear into his dormitory.
"Luca, you're finally back."
She stopped in front of him and looked him over from head to toe, almost as though checking whether he had somehow returned from the journey missing an arm or a leg.
Luca raised an eyebrow.
"That's quite a greeting."
Seraphina ignored his comment and continued examining him with narrowed eyes before finally seeming satisfied that he wasn't seriously injured.
"I heard the Saintess's escort returned, but nobody told me you had already entered the academy."
"We arrived a few moments ago."
